I read that the black screen issue can be fixed by cooling the green board down. It's possible that blue stuff isn't very good. My new s95c blacks out at 120hz or higher but it's not consistent and sometimes it's stable. I have read people spoke to samsung and they say the chips fail and need replacing. It's possible they cook then fail the first time you exceed 100hz for even a short time in a warm room.
2 questions: Does the One connectbox contain the Wifi chip onboard? Because the 2021 OCB has Wi-Fi 6E chip. Second: Is it possible to upgrade the OCB from the Q950TS 2020 model with the 2021 model. The connectors look very similar.
Hi I have just received a QN800A here in the UK, I have found that the one connect box is putting a lot of heat out, to the point of 51.5c and is a concern. Did you check you're one connect box for heat at all? I am await a response from Samsung UK. Many thanks 👍
You are right. It creates a lot a heat since this year they don't have fans or big heat sinks. The best solution is to use an external fan or to put the unit in a place with air using the longer cable.

Does the One Connect box securely attach to the stand or just sit on it? I got this tv today, and it seems it could easily fall off, possibly damaging the short cord. I guess if I move it, I need to disconnect the One Connect box first to avoid dropping it. Or, am I missing something?

I have my tv Qn65Qn900 and it stopped work today. When plugged the power cable in the only thing I heard is the clicking noise from the one connect box. My question is whether the tv get the power from the one connect box?
I am also thinking the same, if you want the TV flush to the wall you may have to cut a bit of your wall out to hide the box inside, if you are not bothered about the TV sticking out a bit I'm sure there is a way to tie it to the TV. I was maybe thinking of getting the qn94a as it is the same but without the box, and it only has one 2.1 HDMI port but that's all I would need.

Okay, so the one connect cable is technically your hdmi cable? Or does the tv already have the technology to produce 8k without an hdmi cable? I already know you can add an hdmi cable to the one connect box and connect it to a apple 4K tv box or another device.
@@legomariotime I used the original mount supplied, and screwed it to the wall. Slotted the 1 connect box straight into that, and just cable tied it for extra support

The stupid one connect box destroys an otherwise good tv , bought one with out one connect box and thinking I was getting a bargain bought it then bought a one connect out off gumtree or one of those sites took it home set it up and for about 6 seconds all channels scrolled alone the bottom then it jumped of and said please connect your one connect box, just wish I could get one off those electronic pc wizards who could make it work for me so as I could just pay him, if you think your that guy I live in Fife Scotland mate and if you could get me it working I would be happy

BEWARE, I purchased a Samsung Neo 800B a 8k TV. The "slim one connect" bow blew out in less than 2 full days of operation. After the TV went black suddenly, I could hear the relay "clicking" however not powering up the screen. These TV sets run hot and I suspect the soldering from the power supply on the motherboard is shoddy. Avoid Samsung products at all cost. I am returning my $3500.00 TV back to "Best Buy" ASAP for a full refund.

The best way is to address the Samsung service. These boxes have software as well, not just electronic parts.
