This choreo was created by Sienna Lalau, a 19 years old dancer and choreographer from US. She also performs in this her self, their musicvideo On Kinetic manifesto film starts with showing Sienna. And her dance crew The lab are rest of the dancers here.
They do, but their in-house team is top notch. The producers are amazing (the members do write and/or produce most songs but never by themselves, and if I'm not mistaken they do have more songwriting credits than producing), and their dance teacher/choreographer (Song Sondeuk) is also incredible! Their new album _is_ going to be made mainly by them, though. As far as I'm aware, they get to make the calls with this one. Music, dancing, filming, packaging. I think the only thing they aren't handling is like... Marketing.
@@sofia_with_an_f the in house team was too notch when they debuted? I thought bighit didn’t have money and had been close to bankruptcy after bts debuted or before.. @@blarmy827 Some of them have been with them since pre-debut, others have joined along the way (Supreme boi, one of the producers, was even supposed to be part of BTS when their concept was still more Rap/Hip-hop oriented). Bang PD has obviously always been there, Supreme boi, PDogg and Slow Rabbit are the OGs when it comes to production, but there are obviously a lot more people behind the scenes that aren't as rigorously credited that have also been with BigHit since day 1. I think ADORA and Hiss Noise joined later, but still fairly early on. Son Sungdeuk (choreographer) has also been there since day 1. Bang PD just has an eye for talent and they all trusted in BTS as a project and in their own hard work to pay off (which it did).
There's a "behind the scenes" where BTS talks about how it helped that the backup dancers were encouraging them to keep going. Both in the dance practices for the MV and the performances.
Jungkook(the guy who sings the high notes before the dance break) has the most stable vocals and he is the main vocalist in the group, and can sing live anytime even if the dance is so tiring, and the songs that their going to sing is high, he can still sing and dance(live) at the same time...
The BTS members are dancers, singers, rappers, music producers and actors in their own storyline that runs through their MVs but their practices are legendary. Try looking up some of their other practices, some of them are very legendary. You might even like the whole music video to Black Swan if you haven't already as that's very dance oriented even in the video and it gives it a great backdrop.
Did you notice that 2 members were barefoot...since they just finished practicing black swan... Pls react to more dance practices Suggestions: Black swan (you can tell they did this at the same day 'cause they have the same clothes on) Fire Dionysus Probably more tho😂
The choreographer's name is Sienna Lalau & she is only 19 years old! She also choreographed 'Dionysus' for BTS, 'God's Menu' & 'Back Door' for Stray Kids, and 'How You Like That' for Blackpink.
I recommend you watch their debut dance practice from 2013 to see how far they have come as Artists. Their debut song title is NO MORE DREAM also BLACK SWAN is an epic choreo that BTS did.
These boys man... I couldn’t live them more if I tried... constantly amazed by them. Also since it’s jungkook with that beautiful slow down solo part and those gorgeous high note vocals... ugh so good! There’s a few reason that he’s the main vocalist... and his stability, breath and vocal control are his specialties! Blows my mind towards the end of concerts or performances with multiple songs and this boys voice out here sounding like he’s singing laying down lol you can hear the other members vocals starting to struggle a bit and they’re screaming instead of singing... luckily fans seem to like that so they can get away with not singing the hard parts.. but that isn’t jungkooks issue and he delivers with that stamina every time! Some of his best qualities as a main vocalist. Of course there are other categories where the other vocalists can be better than jk .... bc all the singers are above average and work extremely hard to do what they do... they’re super humans I swear. So proud to be an army and celebrate these wonderful humble guys who deserve the world!

The drum line were The Blue Devils, the brass from UCLA, they also used a live choir in the recording. The Lab provided the great dancers led by the fierce woman you first see in the Manifesto video. Stay well.
They performed this also on Grand Central Terminal on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Hope you'll watch it too. BTS' performance in MMA 2019 is also a must watch. 💜

Hi, some things about this boys. *Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with kpop. Kpop is just a label to say that everything that comes out of Korea is that (false) bts is not considered kpop because of its great repertoire of genres and that it does not follow the same line of the kpop industry. 1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers, one contemporary dancer, one street dancer, and the rest are hiphop dancers 2. Bts compose and produce their own music, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc 3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) used to read a several books and study set, philosophy, psychology and mythology to understand. Their last album for example was "map of the soul: 7" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by carl jung. 4. The army love them because they are good people who through a lot of bad things to be where they are now, and even being famous they stay humble. 5. They have a lot of genres but their base is very hiphop / rap. Also you can find subtitles in every possible language thanks to the fans, u only need to search with the name of the song. **Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals
Their last album for example was "map of the soul: 7" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Murray.... No, the book was inspired by the album, the album was inspired by Map of the soul of Carl Jung

Hi, the volume of the BTS video was turned off. It would be nice to hear it while you are reacting to it. But wanted to paste an article about the dance team. “BTS just dropped the Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima for “ON”, and the music video featured dozens more performers-all members of the marching band Blue Devils. The inclusion of a marching band caught many ARMYs off guard, but here’s why they were the perfect fit. “The Blue Devils are a World Class competitive marching band based in California, US. Founded in 1957, the corps has won numerous awards over the past decades.” I love the choreography practices too. You can really see the routine and the members. Enjoy, take care, stay safe.
BTS are the professionals my dude. NO longer KPoP, BTS is their own genre. The Lab based in LA are the 'back' dancers, the tuba, trumpet, trombone, drum are the Blue Devils drum line (award winning) also based in California.
During the last breakdown you were looking at the ppl holding instruments. How could you take your eyes off the main dancers? I’m always fixated on them and then I notice the drumstick formations later.
Thumb is up on this, without a doubt. So pleased to watch a genuine person - just had to dislike my first EVER video - two people who randomly interrupted and talked over performances by BlackPink and BTS - both stellar performers who you need to watch with a peeled eye or you WILL miss something. I'm not a BlackPink fan but I have a LOT of respect for them and many other KPop bands. I HATE with a passion which could kill with a glance UA-camrs who 'react' to BTS for the clout and are not prepared to FIND OUT! But even as 'no expert', your interest and your reaction is real - and ARMY will love you for it. You don't need to know much about KPop - trust me, we'll educate you, with great joy, for hours. I'd love to get your reaction to some live performances, especially following the relevant dance practice. I agree that the practices are presented much more cleanly and completely - as if they are actually a tool for the dancer to identify and correct what needs to change - so they give us far better information than any MV or performance (both can be crippled by a producer who needs to try to show himself off!). Kudos, by the way, to you for knowing that these performers dance AND sing AT THE SAME TIME - I don't know of any western act that does this, but it's the standard in KPop and not appreciated enough in the west. However, knowing that, you will get a much better understanding of the music and the dance if you watch a live performance - that's what KPop is all about, for me So I suggest you watch ON on Jimmy Kimmel's Saturday Night Live Show in Grand Central Terminal - you hear the drumbeats on the floor, and the dancers crying out encouragement to BTS to keep on - and at the end they collapse, because there is no oxygen left in their legs. Then - something completely different but outstanding - the dance practice for Black Swan, followed by James Corden's Late Late Show live performance - Ariana Grande was in a studio next to their practice and went in to say hallo - she said she had never seen anything like it. And she should know. BTW in the live performance, space is incredibly tight and Hobi gets kicked in the head : he simply carries on - you can just see it happen, but need a keen eye, because he's such a professional dancer.
trainee is its like before becoming idol in Korea you have to go to hard training producing, song writing, vocal, dance and acting to feel the emotion of the music art and all. training can go long I mean very long like the record trainee have been recorded before becoming Idol is 10 to short is 1 years some of them wont make it. its not just training its competition if you progress not making progress you can be kick out of the company your in it, so your idol dream is over even you haven't start it yet. you can go other company to restart but good luck on it
I know it’s late, but I didn’t see anyone talking about this: To answer your question about how they can sing while dancing like that, BTS and other kpop groups practice singing while doing cardio and timing their breaths to make it sound as stable as possible. Even so, it’s impossible to sound completely stable while dancing like this. For this reason, many performances will use a back track to provide support and give the illusion of them being even more stable than they are. If you want to check out more kpop groups, I highly recommend Seventeen. They’re the kings of synchronization and one of their members (Hoshi) choreographs the dances himself. Maybe start with the dance practice for HIT. They’ve said it’s probably their most exhausting choreography. Besides them, *definitely* watch LOONA’s dance practice for Butterfly. That’s one of kpop’s best choreographies. I would also recommend ONEUS’ Come Back Home choreography because the stunts and use of props were spectacular, but they sadly don’t have a dance practice out for that song.
At 3:34 V just standing there while Jimin hopping around and then V saunters over and BAM back to choreo. And at 5:10 was that JK going crazy with a spin or 2? I'm used to hobi doing that!
I really liked your commentary and use of dance lingo to describe the boys’ moves (backup too). Can you turn up the video volume, make the video screen a bit larger, and position yourself a little further to the right? Thx 4 reading!
and one more after become idol I don't think its easy, it becoming more harder 100 of more idol preforming on live tv show but some got cut out from broadcasting people will vote your music performance and all ........ and if you don't win there chance your band will disband good luck on that as will. not even allow to meet anybody even your parents for couple of years am talking about 3 to 4 years you allowed to do so will you can called them by the manager permeation if yes or no. not meeting them at all, the manager and company control everything even your dress code, food you eat and all. this is idol Korean idol life.

💜

At 3:34 V just standing there while Jimin hopping around and then V saunters over and BAM back to choreo. And at 5:10 was that JK going crazy with a spin or 2? I'm used to hobi doing that!
