New Strut & Spring Assembly from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ASTS01281
This video shows you how to install a front strut & spring assembly on your 2004-2006 Scion xB. TRQ Struts are made to fit your vehicle exactly, just like the original part. Struts can wear out as early as 50,000 miles. You should inspect them regularly for leaks or wear. Save time, money, and hassle by replacing an entire strut assembly.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2004 Scion xB
2005 Scion xB
2006 Scion xB

good video, great, will remember TRQ
High praise to everyone involved in this production. I used to make instructional videos for a living and can attest that this is excellent in every way.
So I didn't take anything off that wasn't directly bolted to strut lol. So much extra work for no reason. No need to loosen the axle nut. No need to touch a windshield wiper/motor.
Wow, this is well explained-- I don't even have a xB, but this is filmed nicely!
Great video. Thanks for pointing out the valve stem
I wouldn't think you need to remove the axle nut. Is there not enough flexibility to separate the strut, and the knuckle otherwise?
GOOD video. great, will remember TRQ,
good video, thanks, great, will remember, TRQ
thank you for a very complete video. Showing how to remove wiper tray etc.. great dialog.
Thank you . kb7uxe
Why did you remove the axle nut? It was not required to remove the struts.
good video, great, will remember TRQ
Excellent video , Thank you Sir.
My alignment shop said that I need camber bolts. Replaced with factory springs that bought from you. It's stock, why do I need camber bolts?
Len pretending to bottom out that broken bolt on the cowl bracket 😂😂😂
MUST HAVE THE WHOLE FRONT IN LIFTED BEFORE YOU BEGIN!!!! Having one side lifted will not work because sway bar will not allow the knuckle to fully drop
Great video. What size socket did you use for the axle nut?
you don't need to do all of the gyrations with the cowl and the wiper assemblies. 12mm is all you need. I did it. And, what about the way the 30mm nut is "staked" on. you'll destroy the threads on the drive shaft and the nut. I know, because I did it.
You can cheat not removing the cover.
Drilled and slotted rotors with, Rusty ass steelies, and calipers? LOL!
that's not the point of this video. It is covered in another video
