GN15 Freelance Loco with 2.4 GHz remote control

Model railway-specific remote control systems are rare and expensive. This scratchbuild solution makes use of a standard 4-channel servo receiver. Light and PWM motor contol is done by a ATtiny microcontroller.

Is there any way you could recommend a tutorial on how to make this module? I found something that would work with an IR sensor or a relatively complicated quad copter, but nothing with RF and a single motor.
