Sending you all calming vibes as you continue to master online teaching 🤗 If I could send you ☕️ I would though. Or perhaps 🍷 is your preference these days. Hang in there! You got this.
I can't tell you how useful your videos have been. My college switched to Canvas this fall and I took 5 short classes in Canvas, but I was still lost. It did not make sense until after I viewed your videos. You're a great teacher and the effort you have put in these is appreciated!. By the way, I think you meant to say the "kebab" menu (3 vertical dots, versus the hamburger menu (3 horizontal lines). Thank you!
This is an extremely helpful video! It is exactly what I was looking for. On another topic, do you have a video detailing your lighting setup for your videos/synchronous sessions? If not, is it something you would consider? Thanks!
Wow! 155 students in one online course. That's crazy. Props to you! 👏 I wonder what the highest record number of students in one online class is currently? That would be interesting.
@@VirtualTeachingPro It would be. I have been teaching at the same university for 15 years and this is the most that I have had in one section and one lecture course.
Hello Ashlee, I have this message "Since this is a group discussion, each group has its own conversation for this topic. Here are the ones you have access to:" also when I try to change Group Set "Students have already submitted to this discussion, so group settings cannot be changed." but never created a group and I can not grade this discussion any Ideas, please?
I am a TA for a professor. When I grade discussion posts the posts do not show up for the selected student. I have to go in and view the full discussion board and search for the student. How can I or the professor make it so the students posts show up in speed grader without me having to search in the full discussion board?
Hi there. When you open speedgrader for to grade that exact assignment/discussion you should be able to view all of the students discussions posts by their name and grade it easily right within speedgrader. If it's helpful email me a quick video or photo of what you you're having problems with and I can try to help by sending you a quick video tutorial back. team@ashleeespinosa.com

Such clear instructions and excellent voice! You were made for teaching, thank you so much!
Wow, thank you! I sure appreciate you.
Thanks, Ashlee, for this very helpful video. I think I will try the video feedback.
Glad it was helpful! Love that you are trying it out.

Perfect! Thank you for all the tips!
You bet!
Can't thank you enough for these seminal vids.

brilliant--thank you
You're welcome!
Do you create the discussions module under Discussions or some other way? When I do that there is no option for SpeedGrader. Thanks!
Can you set up two due dates, one for posting initially and, another for replied to peers posting? Or a work around?
What video recording app did u use for your presentation?
Filmora

Wouldn't the "Available Dates" range need to reflect the last date students can reply?
Hi there! Yes, you'll want to set the available dates from how long you want them to have access to the post.
Nice video but Whenever you refer to "left" and "right" it is the opposite for the viewer. A little confusing to follow
Sorry about that. Thanks for your feedback.
