Hello Dave. Yes, definitely enjoying the TT content. Thanks for doing these videos - I own a Mk1 TT so very interested in all the work you're doing on yours.
Im rrally enjoying the content dave ! Love to see some more.. can't wait till you have full performance and stage 2 custom tune on.. i really want you to redo my coil wiring and fit the intercooler sprayers :D i cant stand messing eith electtcisl stuff 😂 great with all mechanical/diagnostics and mods but not the best wirh wiring, your coil wiring snd job you did on the sprayer was awesome man
Great video keep them coming love what your doing really useful for me! My TT is on ramps atm chasing a oil burning issues rear of the engine left side. I’ve already changed the rocker cover gasket and all the pcv system so can rule that out. I’m hoping it’s a rubber joiner hose that is split or loose from the single Intercooler, as mine is a 180 so the pipework is different to the 225!
@@GreaseMonkeysGarage thanks I’m hoping it’s an easy easy fix tbh but it needs sorting. Strangely I haven’t noticed any drop in boost as it’s been like since I purchased it which on reflection was a gamble but the seller knocked a few hundred of the asking price plus it’s got some nice bits on it like genuine QS alloys Votex lip seat delete from Cloude 9 etc.
definitely enjoying the content.. I am doing a very similar track car build with a 2003 TT here in the US. I am curious.. maybe i missed it... but was this a DIY FMIC kit that you pieced it all together yourself? I want to do similar as you did. This last weekend for me was replacing the high and low pressure steering lines. Prices here in the US are nuts so the low pressure line i fabbed myself from scratch to save money.
Well done mate. I think I'd buy a ready made kit because I don't have your skills. I'm curious about the impact of the water spray, seems like a good idea.
Yes I would buy a kit too next time just thought it would be more interesting 😂 it’s going in for stage 2 mapping after I’ve done the belts will test the intake temps then 😀
