Great question! I think it came from the old Imperial Guard vehicle upgrades but I can't be certain! I can say that some pf the Cadian Shock Troops have little mugs on their backpacks so you can nick some from there! 🙂

Yep, just Panzer grey over the top and then a rough mix of that grey and silver grey!

I think the Rogal Dorn isn’t really a heavy tank. I think it’s a medium tank in the same way as the Panther and the Leman Russ is a medium tank in the same way as the Sherman.
It’s a nice thank. But the missing floor is a hard deal breaker sadly. I am willing to pay more for a floor.
I’m not buying one because of it. It really is the last straw. GW are dead to me.
@@brapscallion 3d prints of the Dorn are better and have the entire hull.
@@docvaliant721 I've watched a documentary on UA-cam that proves that all resin is sold by shell companies of GW. They aren't getting a penny more of my money. I've seen instructions of how to build my own tanks out of cardboard on Reddit. Hopefully GW don't have shares in Cereal boxes just yet.
Who are these people that love painting a floor on a tank? What are your reasons for the missing floor being a deal breaker? I'd love to know why it's so important.
@@efzmonkey I will answer, first off I do paint the full tank from top to bottom. I love to airbrush my tank. I like to take action shots some include my tanks driving over hills and my The Lost World Jurassic Park Site B Garage action set. (It looks great for my Catachans). I just want a full hull, and I hope when the dorn gets more guns and like the Russ it will, we can get a floor piece. It’s $90 dollars and I just want a full body tank. Now people have said I just want to hate GW. I like GW and I love the game. I don’t do 3rd prints and my only GW complaints before this were: I miss Guard ETB kits and I think WH+ is light on shows. I think this was a weird short cut GW did, and I hope the out cry might lead to it being fixed in the future.
I know I’m a year late and have never seen your channel before but, did you glue it together or not because it seems like you didn’t, and if you didn’t that’s great because I won’t have to buy extra glue, but if you did it’s fine, I’d just like to know.
Hi, yes, I used plastic glue - most Warhammer miniatures need plastic glue to stick them together! Some older or more specialist models are resin so would need super glue instead, hope that helps!

I don’t play guard. I don’t play 40k even. But I have had sleepless nights over what will happen if you use your Rogal Dorn tank outside and a gust of wind goes up the gusset and blows your expensive model over your neighbours fence. I simply cannot believe that GW didn’t think of this very real risk. I hope they change the packaging so that people are truly aware of the hazards of not having a tanky bum

Just a small tip: Next time, paint the tracks a rust colour. They are in the dirt alle day long, you will damn near never see any clean metal. And it just helps that entire painting experience. Metals are dog shit on ones brushes.
