Globesweeper - Classic Colossal

You'd think we'd be on a spherical (SPHERICAL!) shape for this twist on the Minesweeper game. There is an option in-game that turns the cube into a sphere, but it ends up being quite disorienting and a much bigger challenge deciphering mine locations. Sound effects are disabled due to somewhat repetitive and loud nature.
Tiles: Classic -- numbers ranging from 0-8.
Size: Colossal -- the largest possible, out of 5 options. 36x36x6 grid.
Mine count: Standard -- 1295 mines, 16.65% density. The next two up are Dense and Insane.
Generation: Classic, true random. You can see the 50/50 I died to on the previous attempt.

Beginner, normally, is 9x9 with 10 mines. The game itself is very easy to learn, by comparison.
I, too, once didn't understand how to play as you do now. Wasn't until DemonCrawl when I figured things out, along with the help of really good players.
