- To finish off the interior in the S13 Hatch I recreated the factory plastic barrier behind the door car before adding Second Skin Overkill foam mat for more sound absorption and blocking before installing the door cards.

Crazy part is i had an original s13 hatch that i just sold a few months ago had it for a long time was a one owner car before me the interior was 100 percent perfect in it factory never touched all original interior zero blemishes from 1990
Love that! Someone picked up a real gem then
Your attention to details is just amazing.
Thank you very much!
Mr OEM Plus strikes again! Nice quality work. The interior is a time capsule for sure. Looking forward to seeing the suspension assembled.
Only way to do it!
This thing will drive like a rolls Royce with all this sound deadening 😂 fair play man, serious attention to detail!
Haha that’s the goal! Definitely excited to drive it and see what it’s like inside after all the sound dampening/blocking
Looks great. Laying some butyl tiles at the bottom of the inside of the doors, below the side impact bars, really helps make the doors seem less cheap on the S13.
Thank you and appreciate the tip!
This car is super clean. Can't wait to see it all together.
Thank you and you and me both!
Fan of your work, a lot has gone into this build.
Gonna redo my floorpan and try to restore and get close to that level... but then I might not drive it often
Thank you, appreciate that! And good luck with your floor pan resto
My right ear loved this video lol
Wish I had a better excuse but I just missed changing a couple of the audio clips from stereo to dual mono in the editing process haha
awesome to see you going the extra mile but I do agree with the other comment. Silvias are fun because of the lack of sound deadening and the rawness of the vibrations etc.
will be interesting to see how different it makes the driving feel!
I think it will still have that raw factor with the fully built SR, no assists like traction control, and a manual transmission plus just be more enjoyable to drive. I turn 30 this year and have only continued to become more sensible with my cars and making them enjoyable to drive haha
@@avengednick a lot different to my bone rattler! aha.
You have inspired me to put a few more interior panels in etc but I can't afford the weight gain of deadening with my SR20DE haha
@@Joel_Harris Love it! I'm all about the practicality
Love it. Extra minty
Thanks man!
highkey incredible
thanks my dude!
From my perspective if it was me I would paint the Gray parts black but I like all black interiors oem 's cool too I think the Gray up against the red doesn't necessarily go too well but that's my personal preference, luckily it's your car. Great job too.
Ahh I can't do it! The grey cloth is part of what makes the interior so 90's and I love it haha. Like you said though, totally personal preference and I can appreciate that
Super clean man! where can i buy the stuff you put in the doors?
Thanks man! I bought it directly from the manufacturer, Second Skin
What size is that nardi bro? Sick car 🔥🔥
330mm and thank you!
I hope you can actually drive this car without having too much anxiety about it getting messed up i feel like everytime i went way over the top i couldnt enjoy the car too much it was a garage show piece and i had way too much time and money in it. Beautiful s13 build for sure. I guess for me im at the point where i like driving them alot more than working on them lol
Me too! That was part of the reason the previous owner sold it, but I definitely plan to enjoy it. I think it just comes down to being smart about when and where you take it. And I totally get that too, I need to do more driving myself this spring/summer.
Where did you go??
what chassis dollies do you use?
This is the one I'd suggest! www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/81240/10002/-1?gclid=CjwKCAjwrpOiBhBVEiwA_473dLNv-6AfcucFvjkawThB_ZSg4GIeqBji3LYJmM4hCAbcvQA29hmarRoCa8UQAvD_BwE
Why didn't you put any damplifier in the outter door skins
Honestly no particular reason, I may add some to the doors later.
Can I have the link for the plastic and foam?
This is the plastic I used: www.amazon.com/dp/B07SPFFRY5
This is the Second Skin Overkill foam: www.secondskinaudio.com/sound-absorbing/overkill
Hello Bro, I need parts and accessories for the interior and exterior of a 1990 240sx, where can I get them?
Pretty much have to find everything second hand at this point. For used parts, Facebook marketing place and 240 groups are good options. Anything that is available new, I buy from NissanPartsCC
Something you should figure out is the audio in parts of the video when using headphones isn’t L+R it’s just one side.
Man that's frustrating... just went back and looked at the project timeline and I forgot to change a couple of the audio clips from stereo to dual mono. Thanks for pointing it out!
@@avengednick no worries your content is great, it was on the last video as well.
It would suck if u have a rattle.
Don't you put that evil on me! Haha
I really think you should remove all the sound dampening material so you can enjoy the true experience of driving a 90's jdm car... You're going to miss out! Also, I thought your hoodie said Dental Health initially because you were in fast-mo and were moving around a lot and I couldn't make out the first letter... Other than the seats not being OEM, that's pretty much what the car looked like inside when it was brand new... Nice!
Hellll nah I daily my s13 vibration and outsidenoise is so anoying
