Great documentary. As a Mandarin student, I hope you release some of these with mandarin audio. It's hard to find content that I enjoy like this in Mandarin.
This looks like an interesting style. I've been reading up and watching videos on it Unfortunately, there's no place around here that teaches such a thing.

Brilliant. What is the relevance of Dai Xinyi after Xingyi has grown out of it? Why not study Dai xinyi (assuming you are fortunate enough to find valid sources).
@@verlyncraig The modification of Dai family xinyi into Xingyi Quan by Li Luoneng has reason both technically and philosophically and hence it wouldn't really make sense
My understanding is Dai Family is more of a complete MA as they deep mixed it with their Family MA. So it loses some of that modality that is common to Northern Kung Fu.
@@MrRourk Well, that's more of a personal opinion that someone might present as opposed to something that is verifiable. What is clear, as they series will show, is that Che Yizhai and others in Taigu, practiced Li Luoneng system and worked with it highly effectively in the escort field without having to go back to learn Dai style, meaning Li's modifications were highly effective. Guo Yunshen, who is regarded as the person from which the Hebei lineage comes through is known for being unbeatable as well.

Working on the following episodes as I get time :)
Great upload! Could be possible some russian martial art influence in xin yi quan? And then xing yi quan?
@@kungfuneuquen no, as at that time the interaction was purely at the border for trade, they weren't traveling into Russia or vice versa

what is difference between xing yi liu he quan ing yi quan and Dai ing yi quan?
