    Original Video:
    • Wishbone Ash 2023-03-1...
Today on the channel, we are once again checking out the band Wishbone Ash with their live performance of "F.U.B.B." This was a great performance to show the maturity and professionalism of the band. They were all locked in and the two lead guitar players were trading solos and complimenting each other musically. This was so cool and so much fun to watch! Hope you enjoy! #reaction #wishboneash #andypowell #guitarsolo #guitar #guitarist #guitarplayer #musicreactions

🎊 Wishbone Ash: Argus (1972) “Blowin’ Free.” That’s how I would have introduced you to them.

This is prob an original which is most impressive to me. I can see how a person can learn and practice an instrument, but writing is a different animal. You could have a dude in a VH cover band and he smokes it. But can he create his own riffs and solos and whatever it takes to put together something people will listen to. They did a great job. Even if it is a cover, they played really well together. I wish they showed the bass player a little more. He was laying down a badass groove throughout the song. The name is a little odd. When I saw it, the first thing I thought it said was something bout Mudbone!!👀👀 MUDBONE? If you don't know who he is, he's a character that was created and portrayed by the late, great Richard Pryor. So basically he's a legend. When I thhought I saw Mudbone, I was a little shocked. He's not exactly the type of person one would think of a musician, or even potential musician - EVER! 🤣🤣 Scared me at first but this turned out way better than I thought.

One of the best live shows I've ever seen. Tight as can be & I've seen the early Allman Brothers & Jethro Tull amongst others. Check out Handy off of their 1st album.

Great reaction 👍 Saw them 1972 and a few times in recent years. Andy Powell ( Flying V) only original member but to be keeping band going after over 50 years is amazing. They spend a lot of time touring the USA so keep an eye out in case they play near you. 😀

Great reaction to a great band . I was lucky enough to see them many times in my youth here in the UK. . Brilliant live band . So many great tracks of theurs to choose from . The King Will Come ,Warrior Way of the World The Pilgrim & Lifeline to name but a few !! But you absolutely must check out Phoenix the bass & guitars i promise will blow you away . Ps Steve Harris of Iron Maiden was. a huge fan . Argus their third album is considered their madterpiece . Their 1973 " Live Dates" album is amazing too. Not a single overdub was added . Youll love it !! 😁.

This Brittish mind stunner is really nice innovative instrumental piece. Especially if you're into seventies rock.
"F.U.B.B." takes its title from a variation on the term as "Fouled Up Beyond Belief" or 'F***ed Up Beyond Belief.") Take your pick.

So glad you've enjoyed both those songs. I'm always happy when I can introduce the bands I love to a new audience. There's a story behind FUBB, that states Andy and Ted Turner were having a jam session, and they started throwing riffs at each other, and what came out at the end was F****** Up Beyond Belief. The reason the current line-up is so tight is they're usually on the road 6-9 months a year. Hard work makes you better, or in their case one of the best.

That’s hilarious! 🤣 They are so talented and as you said, unbelievably tight! Love these tunes and the execution was so much fun to watch! Once again, thanks so much for your generosity! These were definitely some bangers! 🔥

Hey Dude...can you PLEASE do a song by The Animals? Eric Burdons Vocals are unreal. "Work Song" Live on the Ed Sullivan Show is a great example. The Animals and himself solo have many many hit songs. 🏆

Awesome that they're still going after 50 years. I was 17 when I saw them at a 3-day festival in Mannheim, Germany in 1972 at the 2nd British Rock Meet, estimated 600,000 in attendance. Several bands I can't remember opened, then they played followed by Rory Gallagher, Uriah Help and Pink Floyd. 4-way Orange Sunshine. I saw them again in August 73 at Rice Stadium in Houston, TX, about 100,000 in attendance. Willie Nelson opened, the Wishbone Ash, the original Doobie Brothers and then ZZ Top. Strawberry Mescaline, I was right up front. Musically, one of the best I've ever seen in my long career of concerts , with long, intricate guitar solos. Along with The Allman Brothers Band (saw in Fort Worth, 1974) they were the first bands to employ 2 guitarists. I believe their first album, Wishbone Ash, and their 3rd, Argus, were my favorites. Though they had a less hard, heavy sound, I knew quite a few bikers that placed them in their top 10 bands list.

There’s a lot to recommend because they have been around for a very long time, although the guitarist Andy Powell is the only original member in the current lineup. Their 1972 3rd album Argus is generally recognised as their masterpiece (Time Was/Sometime World/Blowin Free/The King Will Come/Leaf and Stream/Warrior/Throw Down The Sword), other great tracks include Persephone, Living Proof, Errors of my Ways, Wings of Desire, Everybody Needs A Friend, Why Don’t We, Phoenix, and many more.
