Welcome to cheap Ford's. My lights turn on automatically when it gets dark. I haven't turned my headlights on in over 10 years.

Nick Muzquiz I had to replace my battery for the first time 2 months ago when it got cold. The lights shut off when I turn off the ignition. When my truck is on the alternator charges the battery. It's all automatic. I don't even think of my headlights. I drive a 07 Chevy Colorado. My 01 Malibu had the same thing. Ford is not modern. Lol
Edit: the last time I had to turn on my headlights was in my 1994 Chevy Silverado.

Tried doing that similar movement by myself. Since my leg is 'twisted' abit to the left, I can't close my legs without my left leg being inverted in. In the end it's really painful and difficult.
I have flat feet for some reason that always made it tricky

In my state, multiple DUI charges in a short period can mean permanently losing your license and prison time. So maybe there's a chance he doesn't do it again and doesn't possibly end up killing someone in a crash.

Zedetarian - yes because often being under the influence of drugs or alcohol can reduce the body's ability to feel pain which can make a suspect much harder to subdue should the situation warrant it.

Why do county police need to call in a state trooper to do a field sobriety test? I've seen them do that a few time. Are county officers not qualified to do one?
CaptiN __ some traffic officers may not have the requisite training to recognize signs of impairment so they have to call in an officer who has had the formal DUI training so when it goes to court the state has legal backing to charge the suspect.

James Smith wrong and right. every cop has basic impairment training, but some officers are drug recognition experts (DRE) and can see if they suspect other substances are at play.

State cops tend to be more traffic oriented and so have more training in DUI stuff. Also, in my state the state cops pick up DUIs from local cities/counties unless no one is nearby.

Just an observation. Out of all of the dui busts I’ve watched, most drunk drivers have what looks to be a mixed drink in the drivers consul. From what I’ve seen, the cops never gather that as evidence or even sniff it for scents of alcohol. Any reason on why this may be?

Though they could have been a little easy on him. I got nooooo break when I had a DUI and it was on a holiday. $5000 later on. When your in trouble with the law it ALL comes down to the 💰 baby. Truth is they don't want you to ever be out of trouble, SOOOOOOO many people told me that same thing. Honesty is the best policy? Not all the time BELIEVE that!
