Lander's constituents that want him in office don't live in the inner city. They live in the wealthy part of LR. He has NEVER engaged in any efforts to better the inner community besides selling cars. He is a SHAM!!!
I guess they are trying to stop the inner city from reaching them. Who can blame them? The way things are going now, it won’t be long before the inner city is at their doorstep!

The inner city is being consumed and overtaken by the same liars and corrupt citizens that claim they're "concerned about crime". Its a smoke screen to hide the true agenda. The previous, corrupt, mayor did NOTHING. The sales tax increase passed overwhelmingly under the previous Mayor only benefited the NW portion of LR. Frank proposed the same increase for change in the inner city and the citizens of NW LR VOTED AGAINST IT.
The FOP has had a vote of no confidence against the last 3 Black police Chiefs and crime has been an issue in every occasion. Is it because of mayoral leadership? Highly unlikely. They are passively rebellious through intentional negligence and neglect of duty.
Landers has no plan for the inner city except MORE POLICE. He's laughable!!

We need to stop the war on teachers in this city. We need to have our city support public schools instead of for profit charter schools Fight for our teachers. Quality education will lead to real change. Steve Landers sounded like he wanted to build a Gestapo. Glen Swarz (sp?) Supports nuclear energy but can't say the word nuclear even though has a degree in physics. Alarm bells went off in my head when Mr. Henderson said he wanted to make a better city for HIS children.

Steve Landers stuck on some 1957 stuff what is adding police dogs gonna do to stop dispute related crimes. This dude us out of touch. We have 90% of Homicides which are dispute and personal issues. Its not random crime. People have anger,emotional and substance issues which is associated with these issues. If you don't improve the education and mental support like Scott said its the same stuff that happened 15 years ago here. The Pandemic made people more Loco.

Look at the murder cases the stories and causes. The cops can't stop or predict 2 idiots beefing on snapchat or Facebook who decide to shot one another. They aren't gonna change because a old man takes over as mayor. The last Mayor before Frank Scott was a former Prosecutor and we had a whole mass shooting with 20 people shot and made national news,where was that outrage? The issue is how all these guns are in the poorest neighborhoods? No gun shops in 90% of the area these homicides are occurring. These lil punks don't respect anything or anyone until the culture and mindsets change the crime will be the same its been the last 15years. I've prevented some things from popping off. People like Steve Landers in the 2000s was sponsoring stuff at Benton,Bryant and Saline County neighborhoods and schools. What has he donated to Central or Parkview ever? He isn't for the city.
A mayor's office is an executive office and having 3 or 4 staff persons doesn't comport to running a Capital city.
He's paying a lot more more security than staff

Police dogs are treated as human officers. Injuring a canine officer will get a charge just as stiff.
It’s like that in the military as well, and they go through just as much training as a human. I know this because I was in the military and I worked for PCSO. These dogs are specially trained in certain areas, and they are considered a team member and comrade by those who work along side them.

Things have gotten so much better in LR over the past 4 years that the mayor is spending record amounts on his own personal security whether "asked" for it or not. There's a reason why cities like Cabot, Conway, Benton and Bryant continue to grow......my family left LR in the 80s. I work in LR but I will live and raise my children elsewhere.

Not being a native to Arkansas I can say. Little Rock does not come of as a Capital city. Houston, Destin, Tulsa look better offer more to education, policing and events that bring in money to grow those places. Little Rock is still known and look upon from a 90s doc from HBO.

Florida Man is hilarious, the other guy is on board with Mayor Scott and probably should be part of his admin, Landers is "from a different time" (you know what I mean), and Mayor Scott is ON POINT!!! That man truly cares about the city and is doing the best he can as a black man in a republican lead state. I'm proud of this man, the work he's done, and what he continues to do in spite of the backlash he's been getting from "the 'other' side" who want to see him gone in order to, as Landers stated on Twitter, "bring back "white rule" to Arkansas".
Mayor that was powerful and I pray that your Work will Continue to grow thru this Election and the purposes and plans for the future is in your heart for Little Rock & it’s not about the power to rule as A Dictator& A king but As servant to All people in Arkansas 🙏
