Fact that a member of one party can preemptively truncate an unannounced and impending ruling by a speaker of your legislative body by an ex parte is indicative of a hatchet job to demean the powers of the speaker and the legislature. Once you succumb to such subversionist threat, you are doomed. The speaker should stand his ground.
