Oh! The glorious meconopsis - blue poppy! J'adore. Congratulations on your single bloom. Canadian geese, they usually cover the school fields here on the Cdn south west coast daily, and have been absent for a few weeks now. Happy to share them🤗😘🤭

As a Canadian I will mention that the geese are very protective of their babies. Best to enjoy from a distance. I hope Rob is feeling better soon

I’m old enough to remember when it was a thrill to see Canada geese because there weren’t so many of them. Now they’re everywhere, even Norway! 😮 Your flowers are looking lovely. I hope Rob recovers soon and that the diagnostics show that he only needs a minor update and not major surgery 😊

Looks as if ROB might need a good cleaning. That spring clean and tune up always helps my lawn mower.

I’ve heard of wildlife managers replacing eggs in nests with fakes. They birds think they have eggs so do not produce more. Poor Rob, what does the technical support at the company say? That Meconopsis is gorgeous, I have never seen one with single petals like that!

This may be a stupid question….. how did you get Canadian geese in Norway? That’s odd to see one there

I only saw 2 goslings, whereas here in ohio, one will often see 11, 12 or 13 !! Chances are, something has happened to some of the eggs or babies already, so..probably don't worry about it too much. :)

      That is plenty!

Oh, I disagree. If they have a nesting pair, there are most likely more somewhere.
And, they are definitely a nuisance on the Lake Erie beaches in northern Ohio.

@playme129 yes for sure, that's where I am too!! They do all stay together though, there wouldn't be babies left somewhere else. Yes, too many around here, lol

Thank you for saying Canada geese and not Canadian geese. Yes, they are invasive and can be quite fierce. If you can during early nesting season, gently rehome the new eggs. They are protected in Canada and hopefully, a wildlife rescue in Norway will help you out.

In Canada those Geese are our summer complaint who fly south to California and the east coast for the rest of the year . I wonder if yours will end up touring the Mediterranean 🎉❤🎉 why are you not wearing loose pants tied around the waist.the original pajamas❤❤❤🎉❤❤❤

With global warming, we should expect more visiting species.
