Marine Survives Sniper Headshot In Afghanistan | Close Call On Helmet Cam. U.S Marine survives a non-fatal headshot by taliban sniper in Afghanistan. Luckily the bullet only hit his helmet and didnt caused fatal damages. His other squadmembers also had luck the bullet didnt hit one of them. Notable is how calm they reacted to the shot. The attack was recorded on an helmet camera during a joint helicopter raid in the Now Zad district, Helmand Province.

This is why I love Marines. One of them was almost shot clean through the head and all three were calm, collected, and even making a joke or two about it. Their first reaction after the shock wore off was “let’s go do something about this.”
It’s called nerves, laughing is a way at getting over the fear. Training has a lot to do with how they also reacted
almost as if that's the job they signed up for.

The fact that this got recorded as he survives a sniper headshot was just a miracle, what a era we living today to see marines literally got headshot without witnessing it ourselves.
It's not a miracle. It's literally the gear we created to keep us alive in a combat zone who saved him, not magic.
