I was surprised by how much I liked the item painted in Upward. I would never considered that color for furniture.
It’s actually a quilt rack… the blue is pretty. They have the rub on transfers that can be added to the buffet, you can stencil on them too. Glad that you kept the hardware!
Hands-down, the green buffet aka sideboard takes the cake!
I like the green buffet cabinet, but would like it even better with the glaze that was shown.
This was a fun project with great results. It would be great if you shared a little about the products and techniques. Thanks!
Love all them❤❤❤
How much paint prep did you have to do? Any fancy primer that helps reduce sanding?
I can't wait.
The pieces look great! What do you think of the product call Briwax?
Loved the sideboard or credenza (what’s the difference between these two? Anyone?) So beautiful! all of them are really nice after the painting but the green has my heart. And the rack thing That is a quilt or blanket stand so that hand made quilts or blankets could be taken off the bed for sleeping and not risk wearing them out. Now a days they are often used to showcase smaller quilting pieces and has moved from the bedroom to the living room.
A buffet or side board is made to hold dining room items and to use as a buffet for parties… a credenza is usually used in a office. It’s much lower than a sideboard.
@@ameliaclark5792 That is exactly what I told my big sister and she argued with me that they were the same, I said not the same and credenzas were mostly used in offices at least that is where I became familiar with them. So thank you I will be showing her your response :-)

It’s just me but I am SO tired of “distressed “ furniture. Let the old piece look new and fresh. No glaze. But that’s just me.
I totally agree 🎉with you I love to paint old furniture, I did a dresser forest green
Natural distressing is fine. It’s the faux distressing that drove me insane. I’m glad that fad has passed.
Green for sure!
Favorite was credenza.
What paint did you in the Sherwin Williams paint line?
Nice if you have a paint booth.
SOLID WALNUT?! This is a gem! Save paint finishes for mass manufactured, veneered furniture.
Why LOL? Why can't we paint wood? Why are people so against painting wood furniture? Not all of us want 50 shades of brown in our space.
