A few thoughts about how Yahweh’s instructions upset our way of living, and this should not be a deterrent to studying, seeing, and/or walking out the truth.
I think, if some were being completely honest, the disruption to someone's life is the biggest reason for not following this calendar. We are finding that watching the luminaries are exciting and educational. Thank you for being an example to those of us trying to walk this out.
I absolutely love what you said about still loving our Saturday sabbath keeping brothers. I’m brand new into lunar sabbath and already I’m seeing the division and mocking. It makes me so sad. Everyone is on their own walk and that’s between them and the Father. Thank you for being a light, sir ❤

My hang up with the lunar weekly sabbath is 3 things. 1. Transitional Days. These break up a 6 day, rest one cycle, an issue would be worth YHWY explaining to Moses and Mose to Israel. It’s something we have to assume. What happened to at least 2 witnesses to establish an issue ? As a Berean, one would expect scriptures to fact check this. 2. There were 2 sabbaths at Passover in the same week Yeshua was crucified. This is impossible on the lunar calendar because the Feast of Unleavened bread and the weekly Sabbath are both on the 15th of the month. A side note. If you line the Passover on the solar calendar of this year, it will line up perfectly as it reads in scripture at the time of the crucifixion as it did the year Yeshua was crucified, having 2 Sabbaths in the same week. One high day and one weekly sabbath from Passover, (three days and three nights in the heart of the earth), and then to the time Mary arrived with the spices to the empty tomb. 3. In John after Yeshua is risen, the very same week they are immediately counting days. We see where the new moon in scripture is being observed, but there’s never any instructions in Leviticus 23 when the Lord is giving instructions concerning the feast to Moses, nor anywhere else and scripture. It’s very concerning, but I do see where it’s being kept during the millennial reign of Yeshua. You don’t hear where Paul stopped for the new moon day when he was in haste to make it to Jerusalem for the first day of weeks. It’s only one occurrence with David. Nevertheless, I agree that God‘s calendar starts on the new moon, but not so much that the cycle of a weekly sabbath is broken.

I "see" something in Psalm 81 that I never noticed before, though I've read it many times! I have read it because it mentions New Moons. This time however, I was reading it for "context," and I have always been told the context is New Moons, Full Moon (Feast time only), and Yom Kippur (solemn feast). However, in context,Yahweh is speaking of Jacob, Joseph, and Israel's bondage and slavery. He's reminding how He rescued them, and warns not to follow other gods. Then in verse 10, Yahweh says almost exactly the same thing as Deuteronomy 5:15!!! In other words, in context, He is saying..... "Come obey My commands to keep the hidden moon the full moon and my solemn assemblies (Lunar Sabbaths). WHY? For the same reason He says over and over throughout Scripture! He saved us from bondage and slavery to SIN. Now He gives us Sabbath rest, but guess what? They include the MOON! Sorry, I'm a little bit excited!!! The more I read it, the more I can see it !!!!
Brother Matthew do you believe YHWH has a body? I have just recently come to the understanding that He may very well have a body. It was something to do with Biblical Cosmology and the understanding that YHWH is literally right above us... He must have a body. After all, He made us in His image.

I have listened to a couple of your videos on the lunar sabbath, and you never address ajubilees 6:23-38, which seem to me to destroy looking to the moon to begin the month, and from my understanding of your explanation of the lunar sabbath it seems to destroy that theory too. Perhaps there is something you see that I don't see, and it would really help if you would please explain how Jubilees 6:23-38 does not contradict the lunar sabbath.

Totally lost me on this one. 😊 I have not heard of a Monday Sabbath. Ever. 7th Day is always Saturday. Not Friday, nor Sunday or Monday. There is a shifting that occurs on Solar Calendar, so that Saturday Evening is Sabbath, always. The New Year by Yah, always IS a Wednesday. Etc etc. So what Calendar are you following?
Our Sabbath isnt always on Monday. It changes on the Gregorian calendar, but on Yahwehs calendar, it stays the same. We keep the sabbath and feast days according to the sun moon and stars, not just the sun gen 1:14-19. Saturday simply did not exist, if you study the calendars used when Yeshua walked the earth you’ll find 2 calendars. The Hebrew lunisolar calendar and the Julian calendar. I believe the Julian was solar only which goes against scripture

Yes; I don’t believe YHWH is limited to a body (or bodies), but I believe Hebrew Scripture bears out that He has a spiritual body.
