  • A friend of mine got in touch with me (Matthew Janzen) about doing an interview for one of his college courses (“Intro to Religion”). He asked me various questions about being a pastor and the particular religious persuasion of our congregation. I had no clue what the questions would be beforehand, so it makes for a very organic flow. I hope it’s all a blessing to you.

Excellent example of how I follower of Yeshua should be, just finished watching this with my wife and I've shared your post to mine on Facebook.
Thank you Matthew for taking the time to do that interview, you were hitting the nail on the head as us carpenters say 😊❤

Shalom and blessings, Matthew and Akeen. I pray you are both well, brothers. Thank you for the wonderfully informative and edifying upload. It was such a great blessing to me. A beautiful exemplification of how two followers of Yeshua should carry themselves and walk out Galatians 5. Praise Yah. Love and blessings to you and yours. David (UK)

I had tears in my eyes at the 40 minute mark as you were saying brother Matthew, that Yah is our great Master and we are His servants and how we have it so good and even if we don’t understand we can trust that everything He does is for our good! It’s so humbling and so comforting to know we have the most amazing Father that is with us at every moment of everyday. It reminds me of how I would be absolutely lost without Him.
    Praise Yah!

Matthew I think you sharpened your sword the most during the debates we had on kingdom ready blog. Such an intelligent group of people debating each other in fairly reasonable manner.

I noticed the ears perk up a little of the interviewer when you said your assembly was not trinitarian.
The trinitarians usage of "acad" to indicate a divine union of sorts is put to rest quickly with Paul's understanding of the Hebrew word "acad" in Romans 3:29-30 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, since GOD IS ONE... "One" meaning the one true God of all.
Excellent interview! Much love brothers. May Yah continue to bless your ministries.

As the interviewer myself, I can tell you with 1000% confidence that I am not a trinitarian. I share many of the same positions as my beloved brother Matthew. It was truly an honor to interview him! May the Most High continue to bless and keep him and his family, and may those who watch this interview be blessed as well!

@@TruthTalkRadio144 sorry brother, that wasn't meant as an accusation, but rather a look of relief to hear another brother in faith that has the same understanding. I could tell where you stood in regards to this theology because of the fruit you bear. Most of the time, trinitarian believers give push back to those who reject it.
Regardless, so much more to glean from this interview than just that topic. Good stuff, brother!

@bshews9132 My apologies, I misunderstood your original comment. All praises, and yes, you are 1000% right. A trinitarian would have definitely gotten in their feelings 🤣🤣🤣
I'm glad you enjoyed the interview, he covers so many great points, I really enjoyed myself. He also has so many great teachings on his channel, we also have a good amount on ours as well. I must admit I had in the back of my mind the reactions of those in mainstream religion would have while watching the video with every question he answered. It was sublime😅🤣💯

@@TruthTalkRadio144 excellent response and excellent explanation from you both in this exchange on the wild Wild West of the internet! Love to see strangers in the faith of YHWY possibly misunderstand, then take the time to explain their perspective, then reach humble admiration for each other, and shalom! Yay for brotherhood and Praise The Most High!🎉

@omr7265 Absolutely, more should always communicate with love at the center so even in misunderstanding the foundation of mutual respect is key to understanding one another

Matthew, you mentioned that a person should read the Bible, beginning in Genesis. I believe you are correct, but reading is not enough. I believe you need to apply it, as you read it and study it as you go along, even if it is just one right ruling at a time. That being said, it doesn’t work for me to just read the Bible. I have a learning disability that makes me unable to comprehend the written word. Only when I listen to someone else explain it as I read it does it make sense to me. So I depend more on listening to rabbi’s like yourself to help.

    • @emjmnc
      @emjmnc  6 днів тому +1

Yes, I agree on applying it to our life, I’m just saying that people begin by just reading it (or listening to it and listening to it explained in your case). Thanks for your kind words…

I like your answers Brother, but I’m missing Ezk 20:20. Moslem, Jews and most Christians have not this love sign 💍 the true Sabbath who is the sign between him Yahushua and his people. They worshiping on unclean days. Do you think Yah is overlooking their ignorance, ore is he asking seriously, nowadays „all of them - to repent“? Act 17;30 📖 Ezk 44;23-24 is a rebuke on us, not to teach between clean and unclean. To meet on other days, who are not holy: Fridays, Saturdays ore Sundays, in this man made Roman calendar, we will celebrate a false lover. Finally if we not take this correction, we will take the mark of the beast. How could we overcome in victory and endure till the end, if we miss the blessings of the true Sabbaths 😢?

I did not say that I agree with all tenants within Judaism and Islam, but that they (along with Christianity) have a common origin in serving the Mighty One of Abraham. I believe YHWH calls anyone and everyone to repent of their sin and follow Him in all areas (including His appointed times).
