I love everything about this flip. The legs. Hardware and the new top with the cross direction of the wood. Very original. The little shelf at the bottom for a blanket was smart. This would fit in a bedroom a living room or a dinning room. Multi purpose furniture. 😻
What I enjoy most about your videos is your willingness to share your knowledge, to teach. You give us the why's and how's to what your doing. As always, your attention to detail stands out. Your creative innovation in this piece, also stands out. Well done Sir. You are a artist.
@@Flippingdrawers it's not just your wood working skills, it's also your editing and voice overs. Efficient, with commentary to explain what you're doing and why. No wasted words. The inclusion of the cat and your interaction with it, brings out a very charming aspect and humanism to your videos. I'm a fan and look forward to each project. I've also have learned alot.
I love your work and your videos! These are always so relaxing. I also get a kick out of the fact that we always seem to do similar projects at the same time. Well done my Friend! Barry
I find that about both your videos. You are both so relaxing to watch and listen to and you both do similar projects to a very high standard. Ye are two of my faves.
Love both of your videos, takes me back to the time where I watched my dad, a Swiss trained master watchmaker, fix peoples watches and clocks at home. He had his workbench in the hall next to my room and late at night, he'd do service and repair work, for extra money.
I actually love the little exposed nook for a blanket. It would be great in a guest room where you want to have an extra blanket obviously available, but not in the way. I love this one!
I don't know anything about woodwork but I love your channel. Watching how you give second life to damage furniture is inspiring 💓. You have talent and great taste 😊 I can't wait for more videos.
A bold choice to remain upside down and still make the piece look this good! You always give us a good show and drama. I like how the new shop and the new workbench worked together so well in this job. It goes to show the foresight and detail of your plans in everything that you do. Job well done!
You have taken a generic dresser and made it one of a kind with the natural finish rainbow top. I love the streamlined hardware you selected. And it's great that the small drawers were preserved because they are very useful.
Another beautiful project. The new multi colored top is just genius. I love the new drawer pulls, and the legs are a great idea. I always love the final reveal in your videos. You take something that looks ready for the garbage dump and breathe new life into it, transforming junk into a masterpiece.
What an unusual find that was actually upside down. Weird! You don't have to be in love with the style to appreciate and love out this turned out. Bravo!
I know that this was posted a year ago. I want to say that I am impressed with how cleverly you have created your workspace to use every inch of space that you have. Equipment which stores under the bench, then flips up to use...Brilliant! beautiful job on the dresser!
Well, here's another one I missed, Jay. I'm going to go to your channel and investigate what else I have missed. Beautiful rainbow top. I really like it when you use the natural beeswax as the finish. It's really stunning. 💕
Love your work a craftsman knows just how to resolve someone else's problem. The new top is wonderful & makes this piece one of a kind. Thank you for sharing your workshop & skills 🔨📐🔪🇺🇲
So many great ideas in this one!! Love, love the top and placing them at an angle was brilliant. I never thought of flipping items upside down for a totally new look! What a great way to breathe new life into a piece.
Stable and strong now ~ Shows mindfulness while creating ~ one can see this piece is grateful you came along and helped upside down become upside right and beautiful ~ thank you for all the many ideas!
I was hoping that decorative edge piece in the center of what was the top was a hidden drawer. That would have been cool. It turned out beautiful. Kind of neet upside down, longer legs were a good choice. 👍🏻 I love your hide the tools workbench. That’s awesome 😎 reminds me of of older sewing machines hiding in tables 😉
You need a sanding robot, to sit with it's head resting in it's hand while it sands for you. 🤣 I really liked the open area on the bottom and how you displayed it at the end.
Hi! Hope you've been well. Now, there you go again, using that awesome imagination on this dresser. How did you come up with the idea of turning it upside down? That made it unique, but not only that, what you did to the top of it with that lovely angled trick!. I loved that! 🤓 A complete transformation! I could tell this is an older video because I'm already so used to your new workshop, and I could tell you had some difficulty moving around. Thanks again for giving us the beautiful piece of "new again." ✌🌻 Blessings and take care. 😻
Making 1940s deco into mid-century modern. Interesting idea. Not sure about the legs, they don’t look sturdy enough. But could see where you were going with it. Love the rainbow top
I love that you do mostly natural wood. Your work is very good but on this one Mr upside-down I think the handles that were on it were better. If they weren't enough of them to match maybe use complementary ones. Anyway you are a pleasure to watch. God bless! Patti from Arkansas USA!
Wow! I was kind of wondering about leaving it upside down the boy that really looks good! I love the top you made. The contrasting colors just gives it some kind of lift that it needed. I also love the long legs. Gives it more of a mid century look. Very talented! Take care!
Another superb restoration ! You take a dated and scruffy piece of furniture and with a few clever changes turn it into a piece that wouldn't look out of place in most houses, modern or otherwise. Well done !
Great job. I admire your skills and I'm envious about your tools and workshop set up. The new top looks great. I love the finish and overall attention to detail. The new legs make it look more balanced. The only point I don't like is that I would have flipped it back. The shelf and the little drawers at the bottom just don't look right. But that's just a matter of opinion. Still love your work.
I thought you said the peace was upside down, but you left it that way, and I thought it would be better with the small drawers on top, but it is still nice.
Thanks
Much appreciated❤️

Flipping drawers really is flipping drawers. Kudos my friend
Thanks ☺️
The top really makes the piece pop. It is so relaxing watching you give these pieces a second chance. You are awesome.
Love your wood shop setup. A lot easier and more pleasant when you have your own indoor work space😁

Great job. At first I did not like the upside down idea, but the end results changed my mind. The added legs made all the difference. Love it

You should make a label for your projects with the date that you refurbished each item. I just love watching your videos.

I am sooooo impressed with your 'pop up' power tools and hatches on your workbench. That is so cool.
I love that you left it upside down.

Your vision, creativity and patience is truly amazing to watch.
Love the look of the light on bottom/dark on top - illusion of balancing on tiny legs!
Having the power of giving another life 🎉 wonderful.
I love love love how much you appreciate natural wood finish. Most of the time stains look less lovely than the wood
and paint should be reserved for only the worst quality furniture
Work of art Jay. I especially love what you did with the new top, placing the planks diagonally. ❤
The rainbow top is creative and unique!
This turned out beautifully. My cat would totally love that shelf on the bottom. Thanks for the video and I will be watching as you post them.
❤️❤️❤️
Wow! Double the Wow, by giving the upside down the thumbs up, and that plank finish on top... That's genius! Well done!
Thank you ❤️🎄
I still cannot stop seeing it upside down. Lol but, you really did a beautiful job. Thank you for being you.

Jay you continue to amaze me with your beautiful hard working towards bringing back these amazing furniture back from the past.😂😂😂😂
The drawers have a modern feel now. The rainbow top looks nice.
That rainbow made this dresser something special!

WOW. Natural wood is growing on me.

Thanks Janet! Glad you enjoyed it

I love everything you did with this piece, especially the rainbow top cut on an angle.
Thank you kindly
Beautiful work as always! How far we have come with you since the early days on the concrete driveway☺
Ha ha right? Thank you ☺️
I wasn't sure about keeping it upsidedown but with the rainbow wood, and beeswax finish it looks so good!
You need a sanding robot, to sit with it's head resting in it's hand while it sands for you. 🤣 I really liked the open area on the bottom and how you displayed it at the end.
I love that you left the wood natural. Thank you for changing the drawer pulls. The ones it came with were terrible.
