The cats seem to take shifts in supervising & you have a lovely relationship with them. That said, this is again, a beautiful restoration & ready for a long, proud life thanks to your care, skill & devotion to your 'work'. Your choice of legs & hardware was superb & gave the formerly very tired piece such a lift. It is pure joy to watch you work & listen to your comments. Cheers mate, Don from South Australia.

@@Flippingdrawers It gives me great pleasure to watch you work with such an eye for detail Jay. And, the kitty that comes to visit you 🥰 You’re a very kind man & you deserve all the subscribers!

Cats sometimes pick their people, she looks pretty attached to you. She’s an adorable supervisor. The way she checked out your gluing technique shows she really cares about the job being done correctly. You are an exceptional woodworker. My brother in law is a finish cabinet maker, he’d be impressed, I know I am. Great job.
Amazing job, now I know why good wood furniture is expensive. Now as for the kitten... only those who have a cat know what they do. I have my orange cat here, named Fredy, who used to sleep on top of my bookcase. Previously, the position belonged to a white cat named Pipoca (popcorn) and who lived for 16 years.
As for that cat, I spend a lot of time with them so I know a cat that does not belong to you and letting you hold it upside down is sign of complete trust . PS I love how you bought life back to that furniture. Excellent.
This came out so well. I am so very proud of your work . Thank you fir saving it and hugging that kitten . Not so smalls kitten but still a lovely soul and s fine overseer of work.
Thank you for the wonderful video on the Buffet , it is a wonderful work. Brought back an old piece that could be reused and appreciated Ford style and functionality.
I am subscribed to quite a few furniture restoration channels, and especially appreciate the wood workers that don't paint all over every piece. Natural wood is usually so beautiful on its own.
Cats chose who they own, she seems to think you must be her human (it's how I ended up with my cat; he decided he'd rather live with me than the person who was feeding him before). The restoration is lovely, the gingko leave pulls are a beautiful choice. I don't know where you're from originally, but your voice is such a pleasure to listen to while you work. Love this channel. Kia ora from Aotearoa...
WOW! A totally "new" piece. Love all the love you give your pieces giving back all their beauty. This piece was such a transformation. The love you and Kitty have for each other is so sweet❤️
Your content is among my most favorite on UA-cam as not only does it showcase your talent and intelligence, but your gentle humor and your kindness come through so strongly! (AND there are always cats in the video! YAY!)
The hardware choice is very nice, as are the legs. I like that the back of the buffet has wood grain. It lends character to the whole piece. Thank you for another beautiful restoration. 💕
Holy moly Jay what a transformation. Talk about breathing new life into it. Amazing. I just can't exude enough. Love the new veneer and the stain and that hardware is gorgeous. That cat is going to end up getting her own agent one of these days. She just loves putting in an appearance. She's getting properly stuck on you now!! I think you should just adopt her.
Your comment about the cutting of the veneer for the top took five times longer - that cracked me up. It's like doing something with either a small child or an elderly parent - timetable blown. This buffet was ugly. A harsh word, but there is not other way to describe it. But the end result was beautiful. The colors of the wood are beautiful. I love the drawer and door pulls you chose. Added a touch of class to the buffet. Well done Jay.

Holy smokes Jay!!!! So freakin awesome!! I think this one hits my top 3 FAVORITES. But... you know what I envision looking at this? Deleted the legs. remove top, add quarts & you have a FANTASTIC floating dual sink bathroom vanity!! Hoping all is well my friend, Dirty Jersey out!!
I’m trying to decide if I watch because of how beautiful the pieces always turn out or because of your interaction with and obvious affection for the furry supervisor that not only doesn’t belong to you but whose owner is missing in action 😂
