I had seen this yarn before, and I didnt think I really liked it. Then I saw what you did with it and you have magically made it into a gorgeous blanket!! Thank you for your tutorials. You explain everything so nicely. I cannot wait to make this for my granddaughter. I truly need 48 hours in a day!! Thank you, again.
Sometimes I see yarn or a tutorial and I’m not to interested until someone magically gets the coordination just right and it’s like magic. I just watched a tutorial on a bag with 2 completely different variegated yarns. They came together so beautifully. We were all in awe even the creator lol. You just never know!!!
Thanks a lot for this tutorial. I made the square already and now into the rectangle. So clear and soothing voice just perfect to listen and learn at the same time. You have a good heart to share your time with other people.
I really love this! The notification popped up just as I was looking at eight Caron Cotton cakes in hydrangea and wondering what to do with them. Thank you so much! 😊❤
I’m a Canadian crocheter so get confused between British and American crochet terms. Thanks so mush for clearly explaining. You’re a great teacher. I’ve learned I can get this your here and am so excited to start. I’m using the colours you used as it’s a beautiful combination. Thank you so much.
This is absolutely gorgeous! ❤ This is going to the top of my list for new patterns to try. I’m just curious as to why you turn your project after every round.
I watched the square tutorial first and you use a double treble as the post stitch this one use only use double treble. When I started this one I did have trouble making the post stitches long enough so tried following the first tutorial….so if anyone selected has problems perhaps this my help them. Love turning my work, seeing the wrong side of the stitch on alternating rows adds texture and I find visually pleasing. Thank you so much. Bye. 💁🏼♀️
This is beautiful! I can easily visualize many projects made with this pattern. Thank you! PS: I love the colors you are using - beautiful combination!
Just the pattern I am searching for-a cuddly 2-person afghan in a simpler stitch. A textured rectangle motif😊, thank you. The only thing is I can’t cope eith the darkest colour yarn in your pattern as it drives me nuts trying to find where to put the hook in! Only ‘cos my eyes are not young . I ❤️your way of making perfect squares & turning each row in the recent squares! Your cat loves to be busy! I hope(he/she/ it-name?!) has a nice fluffy home crocheted bed to sleep on & make dough💓🧶🐥🥕🐇🥚🥰J, & C&P 🦜🦜🎶
Just beautiful Rebekah I loved the square and now this gorgeous rectangle and the colours remind me of when I watch frozen with my granddaughter , hoping to make one soon thank you 😊amanda xx💕💖
I love thw rectangular piece, and your little helper, Olive . My pup always gets in my recliner when I start to crochet and takes up all the room. I noticed that you didnt do the double treble on this rec. like you did on your textured granny square. Any special reason. ????♥️🧶🌹🧶🇺🇲🧶
Lovely colours and so well done! Thank you for this lesson. May I request you for your help in telling me how many granny squares should I put at the start for the middle to make a 60"x90" blanket? Tha k you!

Lovely Rebecca looks great in the rectangle. I love this stitch.. Can it be done in a.shawl too. Thanks so much for all your hard work love the. Kitty.. ❤❤❤
I love the look of this! I’m working on a throw blanket size but was wondering if it was norm for the corners to seem stretched out. Will this correct itself as I go or is my tension just really off?
Love this pattern and am ready to start but have a question.. In the square pattern you use double trebles for the posts but in the rectangle you only use trebles. Is there any reason?
Hello, wonderful tutorial and work. Thank you!😍 Just one question: why turn the work at the end of each row? does it bring something extra to the work ? Greetings from Belgium 😎
@@BlossomCrochet I don't know how to put a photo on here, or I would show you the red, white, and blue scarf I made to donate to Operation Gratitude based off of this video. I used white in the center, then changed the color every round, so that I always used white for the front post stitches. I finished off with 2 rounds of red moss stitch, then 2 rounds of blue moss stitch. I like that it has two distinct looks for the front and back.
I was going to leave a comment but felt it would fall on deaf ears. I really wanted to come back to this channel because she you have beautiful, innovative patterns but feel no kindness here. It seems like many channels have become jaded after a certain amount of time.
It would be a great stitch for a cushion! I don’t have a cushion specific tutorial but I’d just make two separate pieces the same size and then join them together with button fastening on one side for access/cleaning 🌸
Merci beaucoup
i love this pattern however i have tried five times to keep the rectangle with straight lines and i have ripped each one out. as i add each line, the two ends grow wider while the mid section of the rectangle stays straigh causing it too look like a dog bone shape. what am i doing wrong, PLEASE!!
i am wondering if i can make a hexagon of this, does anyone know what the name of this granny stitch is? front post granny? if it can be made as a hexagon I'd love to make it into a hexagon cardigan
Want to make this as granny SQUARES? Here's the tutorial for that: ua-cam.com/video/KriJBaSg2tU/v-deo.html

Hi. Stunning pattern. I'm busy with it now but was wondering what border you would use.
I'm making a blanket.
That’s great to hear! 🌸 you could build absolutely any border on it, depends how simple/fancy you want it… if you wanted simple then I’d definitely recommend my Moss Stitch border but if you wanted something a little more fancy then maybe my Lace Peaks - I’ll pop links below 👇

Yes absolutely it could - just make a longer starting chain and you’ll get a much longer, narrower finished piece 🌸☺️
Nice looking stitch, reminds me of a waffle stitch

Beautiful design and colors! How much yarn does it take to make a twin size blanket by making these rectangles and putting them together? Thank you!
Thanks for this variation on he square. Yay we saw the cat 😅

Beautiful crochet
Absolutely beautiful. How many balls of yarn will I need to make a lapghan?
Will an 18 chain eventually work into a twin-size blanket?
Otherwise I'm about to give up on the idea of starting from The Middle.
I was wanting to make this rectangle a cover for a dog bed . Do you by chance know how I would measure to make sure all sides fit correctly ?
Is it also possible to keep going to just make one big rectangle for an afghan??? I love this pattern!
Yes absolutely! 😍
Very nice so beautiful video ❤️👍
Thank you so much 🙂
Hello,
wonderful tutorial and work. Thank you!😍
Just one question: why turn the work at the end of each row? does it bring something extra to the work ?

@@BlossomCrochetYou're welcome! Yes I do...you do excellent work...all the best to you 🌺
Love this !!! I I made a starting chain say about 100 would it make a nice rectangle wrap shawl??????
That would certainly give a good long rectangle - just make sure it’s a multiple of 3 for your starting chain ☺️
wow, I love it
Question. Is there anyway to not have such big holes in the center?
Beautiful!

How many initial chain would i need to make a single bed blanket?
Do you keep going or make a bunch of squares and sew together?
You can keep going to make one large blanket or you can do smaller rectangles to join together 🌸☺️
Yes
Great great!
Thank you! 🌸☺️
What would you cast on …or chain to get a 40 stitches x 20 stitches high in a rectangle

Hi! What is the size of the sample you've made? How many chains? ❤ ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How much yarn do I need to make a rectangle lap blanket?
If you are using one colour, instead of cutting and starting in corner can you slip stitch along into the corner instead? X
Yes you can do that instead if you wish ☺️🌸
This is beautiful! How much yarn is needed? And is there a written pattern?
Thank you! I don’t have a written pattern - sorry.
As for the amount of yarn, it depends what yarn you chose and what you’d like to make 🌸☺️

If the recommended size for your chunky says 6mm then I would go up to a 7mm if you have one 😊
@@BlossomCrochet thank you and another question.. how long should i make a chain for a single bed or 3/4 bed size
How many balls of yarn for a small baby blanket, please?
If they are 100g balls, I would personally use about 3, maybe 4 if you plan to add a few rounds for a border 🌸
