I see it more likely Kawaki gets Bug’s soul thorn from Ada trying to win his love over. And Jura’s will probably get destroyed in a final battle later. This would allow for a tension to be pulled 3 ways. That time skip scene that we’re all looking forward to never implies that there’s no other threat outside of Kwaki.

Just a guess but the rinnegan on the soul thorn could possibly be used for Rinne Rebirth or some jutsu specifically related to the rinnegan that when holding can be used and bring back the person in the failed god tree. giving anyone other than sasuke a Rinnegan would probably useless considering if Bug got a rinnegan he'd be strong but not useful enough to do anything since boruto is constantly one tapping isshiki level threats with considerable ease. Sarada's eye might not get damaged since she earned her power through love rather than hate, hate is very stressing and self damaging which in this case reflects to the eyes while in her case love is purely nice without any physical need to strain the body, so I believe her eyes might not get damaged.

No it's a different rivalry, not one that continues through generations, but one like Jiriyah and Orochimaru have
If Bug can somehow get through Damon's defenses (maybe in a sort of 'Escanor doesn't hate you" kinda way cause he's acting of "love" for Eida rather than "hate" for Damon), then Damon needing help from Eida's friend Sarada (or Sumire) to protect Eida makes sense. Bug Shinju dying and and then entrusting his Soul Thorn to Sarada (or Sumire) to protect Eida could be how she gets his Thorn. This could also turn Eida further from Kawalki if Sarada/Sumire come to help her but Kawalki doesn't.
Alternatively, Sarada might have to be Hidare's "Jinchuriki" for a while and take his Soul Thorn into herself, with the powerup she gains from that lingering after returning it to Sasuke.

Another way Kawaki gets a power up if not a soul thorn could be some detail about his Karma that Amado didn’t tell him about which could come into play later. I refuse to believe Amado isn’t playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers as well. He’s up to something.

So, if returning a soulforn to the person that shinju is connected to will give that person a Rinnegan, will Moegi be able to handle the chakra drain from having a Rinnegan obviously it won't effect Sasuke he had one with 6 tomoe for over a decade before getting a kunai to the eye and bug doesn't matter at all

1) Since Kawaki is the closest to Ishiki, maybe that’s why Jura wants to devour Naruto, feeding off of Kawaki’s obsession of him
2) don’t rule out the possibility that in order to free the person trapped in the tree, the person targeted needs to consume the soul thorn and at the same time they get a power up. So that means Ada, Sarada, and Konohamaru will become stronger under this hypothetical. And that could lead to Kawaki eating Jura’s soul thorn and since he’s now an Otsutsuki, his power up will be even greater and make him the threat he needs to be for the end of the story when he and Boruto fight.

What if the soul thorn is a seed for the 10 tails? It looks like a seed, came from the divine tree, and would explain how divine trees are created. Not to mention that the the shinju are created from the 10 tails and each have a rinnegan. They also want to become 10 tails by eating kawaki or boruto. Maybe consuming a soul thorn would be similar to madara consuming the divine tree!

Here's my theory: the hideout where Obito kept those Sharingan of the Uchiha clan from the massacre, where he implanted Itachi's MS into Sasuke, we never saw it get destroyed so we can have reason to believe that it's still standing and Fugaku's MS can still be accessible therefore maybe after Sasuke is brought back, he can take her there and give her her grandfather's eyes granting her an MS.
I do like the idea of the soul thorn but I've got a feeling kawaki might gain power through amedo or stealing power from code, like absorbing code or stealing his corpse for power

I like the Sasuke idea and really see that. I think if Sarada getting his though gives him his kit though, I’d love to see it. Maybe Sasuke gets the bug thorn so he can still be relevant but not a top character since he gave his power to his daughter.
I think Bugs soul thorn will go to Code actually since he has that connection with him and could probably swoop in through a claw grime if Daemon defeated Bug to consume Bugs soul thorn. Code has been built up as a villain who will eventually get a massive power up and this seems like the best bet. He could have some sort of Karma Awakening as well which could free up the soul thorn for Sarada but we have no reason to think that as of right now.

Until you mentioned that Hidari's soul thorn is going to Sasuke and not Sarada, I was thinking that Bug's Shinju would exist as a sacrifice to show us what can go wrong with the soul thorns, like if they're destroyed or mishandled or something. Hard to predict what, because the entire point is "to explain to us something about them we didn't know before." I can still see a world where Sarada doesn't get one, though, especially since Kawaki's big lesson is all about how he's too lazy to train and too arrogant to learn from others, which Boruto is doing in spades now. Sarada getting a raw power boost from "cheating" would kinda sour the lesson, but it's not an outright dealbreaker, as it would be a potential way for her to "inherit" Sasuke's rinnegan, even though he keeps his own. Both still make sense. But until we've seen those MS abilities, we have no idea just how much she needs the help, especially since we're due for a training arc VERY soon.

this is a great theory but I’d change it up just a bit. I think Bug soul thorn would go to Code being that he still has feelings for Eida or whatnot. Jura’s soul thorn would go to Naruto. If sasuke is back in the fight so is naruto. And jura likes to say how he is the ten tail. So to me it will make sense for Naruto to become the pseudo jura soul thorn eater, especially since he doesn’t have kurama anymore. But kawaki will get his power up from defeating code or killing bug one of the two

Himawari gets the band back together, the clawgrimes make more shinju as they now can be defeated, Kawaki goes on a power up trip absorbing the thorns, with consequence, Code continues to be slept on like Kabuto, to later consequence. Shinju become neutral party later, self interest/preservation. Kawaki cheats to power, Boruto grinds, doing the role reversal mirror to the opening.

Here's my idea on how powerups would be given. These ideas are based on a theory that powerups can go to both the tree victim and the one they love. Or other characters, if it gets stolen.
Jura goes to Kawaki. This one obviously makes sense.
Burg can probably go to either Eida or Sumire because why would you buff Sasuke and not Naruto too. Plus, his time to shine passed already, I wouldn't mind him being restored to his previous power. I lean more towards Sumire getting a power up, but could be less likely because she's less related to Bug's situation. This is because Eida's shinjutsu could have more power ups already. Though, getting a 10 tails power up could make her Otsutsuki, granting her more control over shinjutsu. Sumire is just one of the central characters of TBV right now, and her power is laughable.
Hidari would go to Sarada because it makes more sense than it going to Sasuke alone. A rinnesharingan would be a lot to ask for, she could get that or 6 tomoe/base power up.
Matsuri... could possibly go to Konohamaru. He has been given the stage multiple times and falling flat on his face, he could be a main character. If not him, then Team 10.
idk how its supposed to work, but it seems like they are like chakra fruits, but the thorns are weird, maybe they have to be planted, but i assume consuming them will give you otsusuki chakra, possibly making one resistant to the omnipotence as well
Hey Nick. Ever thought about the fact that Sarada could have overused her MS while trying to train on her own and has started feeling the side effects?
This could very well explain why she's not willing to activate her sharingan in battle 🤔
Sarada vowed that she would figure out a way to get her father out of the tree. So the Soul Thorn going to her and her then being able to use that to get him out of the tree...is not crazy. Especially if her MS is healing like we think it is. So Sasuke could get out of the tree by upgrade Sarada with her MS powered up. This in turn would definitely still be an upgrade for him. Because he comes back with his own eyes and a new arm from being healed by his daughter with their clan's brand new power.
@NCHammer 23 Do you think Koji Kashin could be an early claw grime created by a fragment of a tailed beast or the divine tree we saw in the 4th Shinobi war and remnants of Jirya's body? Could Jirya still be alive in a tree somewhere else? That'd be a huge reveal and add a soft ending to Naruto's story and add more to Boruto's since he'd now have a grandpa on Naruto's side. Could explain why Koji knows so much. Perhaps Amado gave him autonomy in some way linked to Jirya's memories.... Love your videos!
Regarding saradas upgrade.. we have already seen that she achieved MS through a different *non destructive* method... it is not only impossible but quite likely that there is a similar route to EMS... and I see a possibility to be swapping MS with a family member not stealing them ... consider that she uses her susanoo for the first time only to find that through her awaking having been due purely to love this susanoo glows BRIGHT WHITE or even with a rainbow aura or something representing a new susanoo the strongest susanoo we have ever seen however Sasuke having been awakened knows the cost she will incur by using to much so he tells her to take his eyes.... she instead trades him and then it happens saradas first the pattern of Sasukes eye closes in on the pupil then the red closes in and then bursts out a different color maybe blue followed by saradas sunburst pattern... and then we se Sasuke open his eyes which flash from saradas MS to his EMS pattern but remains red as he was a part of the cycle of killing that kept the Uchiha down so he does not achieve the new more powerful eye (blue) that sarada awakens which could be referred to as a True Mangekeyo Sharingan (TMS) or the Ultimate Mangekyo Sharingan (UMS) or something of the like....
The reason I find it likely she will EMS in a different way is that she did not HAVE to awaken her MS in a new way for the story to work she could have seen a trauma like normal and boom MS ..... then multiply that times kishimoto never does anything for nothing and I believe it was to remind us that all we know about the sharingan is what black zetsu wanted us to know and that there's clearly WAY more to it than the tablet allowed the Uchiha and us to know
If the curse of hatred is gone... why do we still think Sarada will go blind?

Maybe when Kawaki absorbs Jura Isshiki awakens inside of him like how Momoshiki is inside Boruto. And then since Kawaki isn’t use to it like Boruto is Isshiki takes over his body for a little bit and goes on a rampage and that’s why Konoha was destroyed in part 1 of Boruto
i would guess you learn more about divine tree biology in the fight where bug vs daemon. if bug has an attack involving the tree that wouldnt harm himself but would harm daemon all he would need to do is catch him in collateral damage. like nothing happens if bug consumes himself or uses the tree to impale himself cuz hes made of the tree and it heals him. i would guess we need to learn more about the tree to know for sure

Can you make a Visual Aid or like a Tree Map, That shows: How many Divine Tree/ Ten Tails are on Naruto earth, How many splits vs how they were split, How many Otsosuki, Karma paths, Bloodlines, Jinchuriki tree. Shinju are the opposite side of the same coin as a jinchuriki. Same thing just reversed. Prove me wrong?

I highly doubt that they will give rinnegan to the original victims, that's weird
seems to me like there are a lot of possible plot devices by which the thorn doesn't power up the original victims when returned, for example the thorn's energy is mostly used to separate the person from the tree
