I think people expecting this to be as amazing as Shredder’s Revenge had their expectations way too high
It isn’t perfect at all but I still had a good time with it and the bike and zord segments were pretty fun and a good change of pace

I don’t disagree, but at the same time there aren’t enough enemy types/behaviors and a lot of the tools they give you are either overpowered (the rising attack is invincible like an old school shoryu and it pushes you out of the enemies area so canceling it at any time is pretty much a get out of jail free card every time) OR can be pointless at the same time since all enemies die from 4 hits (sans the Tengu and Giant putties) so a quick 2 punch, wait a frame, 2 punch kills everything and leaves you relatively safe since you don’t have to commit to combos or moves which can leave you open.
Like I said, I don’t disagree that there IS some understanding there, but I guess it’s only a surface level class in beat em up literacy.
