- Today I'm sleeping at a space capsule hotel in the Mexico City Airport...Instead of getting up early for my flight tomorrow morning, I think I'll come to the airport the day before and sleep at a SPACE CAPSULE. So tonight, let's travel to the Mexico City Airport where we're going to sleep in a capsule for $30 a night. Wow, I would love to sleep in that capsule. For me it would be an incredible experience. That capsule on the mountain in Peru was also something I had never seen before.

Knowing that you can get great spacious accommodation for that money - I would never sleep there. But I understand some might be interested because of the experience.
Yeah it’s more of an experience kind of place. Usually sleep pods are cheaper than this

These airport capsules are very useful if one has an early international flight. Like 5:30 AM flight.

The pod looked very futuristic. It made me think of the movie 2001 a Space Odyssey. Cool blue lighting! I noticed you talking softly and you had provided earplugs. I’m guessing the pod wasn’t sound proof/insulated?
No, not sound proof. They rely on guests to stay quiet and you’re not supposed to talk. So for the video I was breaking the rules by whispering. Not all space capsules are like that though. In Vietnam I stayed in one and they had Less rules

(Besides this comment, it was fun to hear how you pronounced the word "techo" (ceiling)... (you said like the english word "techno"), but the correct sound is like "te" from the word telescope and "cho" from the word chocolate)... Regards from your peruvian friend!

Hey, most capsule hotels I believe only offer one-Person spaces. You can sleep next to the pod of your significant other though. Usually there are about 20 pods all lined up right next to each other

2:07 I wish I could this every morning to go to work..hahaha. For me, using a shared shower, i would be using some slippers and my own soap/shampoo to bathe with.. 3:40 so why are you whispering??!! the capsule is nice..but too small for me...hehe
They said no taking because others were sleeping. I could be kicked out for talking but I wanted to show you guys this place. It sucked because i was excited about it so whispering didn’t really work

Weird I'm staying in a Pod tomorrow wishing I was staying in the one like yours or like the ones I stayed in, in Japan, mine is called a pod but in reality its just a bunk bed with a curtain. at least they are slowly catching on in North America.
Yeah not all sleep pods are the same. I’ve seen those ones that are just with a curtain. In Japan there are first class pods and I plan to try and stay in a few
