You mentioned most major navigable rivers except the Columbia. Please cover the Pacific west coast in more detail in the future please. There were some broad strokes applied to the whole west coast that really only apply to central California.
I agree. The western US, the three west coast states in particular really could have their own video. California, Oregon, and Washington all have many different climates of their own including cool damp forests, grassland, mountains and deserts. Also, while most of the west is semi arid to arid, within 30 miles of the actual coast, rainfall is significantly higher except south of Santa Barbara, CA.
Redwoods only extend about 20 miles into extreme Southwest Oregon. They are predominently a California tree and grow as far south as Monterey County on the Central Coast. They don't extend into the Pacific Northwest.
They actually used to extend that far in ancient times then with cycles of warming and ice ages pockets of red woods survived in different areas of the northwest. Until humans gradually also cut down the little pockets of remaining forest
@@cosmicplatano3185 We're moving the goal post, that's a different conversation. They don't live there now and haven't in recent times. Redwoods are not a northwestern tree. They are replaced by other species which have been there for a long time. Redwoods cannot grow where it gets too cold and the PNW coast gets colder than the CA coast.
America is actually larger by area than china, due to territories the US has, and i believe even including all 50 proper states its still larger than china
It really depends on the source. Some claim USA is bigger, some claim China is. I believe it is a problem with how some water bodies are accounted for.
If she didn't have an accent I'd have been critical, but she clearly does have a consistent accent so that's just how the pronunciation is going to be. Like Bah-sin for basin, that's a Spanish pronunciation of "a".
Oh honestly, the word "basin" is pronounced "BAY-sin". If you're making a presentation for UA-cam then you're necessarily online, and so you can find the proper pronunciation of words in a heartbeat.
Maybe her native language isn’t English? She’s already doing better than you producing a fluent video in a non-mother tongue. Being online doesnt equate to being cruel to someone for trying?
Excellent video! 👌🏻 Super interesting stuff.
Thanks!

I will try to make more videos about different parts of the US! 👍🏻

You forgot about the Chihuahua Desert in New Mexico and Texas. The Colorado Plateau was also omitted. Still a good video!
Good video. I thought US was larger than China i total area

China wins because it has more sea... Land wise, USA wins...

@@WorldandMaps all water bodies should be counted period except ocean
It isn't, as a Brazilian China is bigger by territory, bodies of water can't be considered a territory
@@capebala5273 even without water America Beats china
The "south-ern" coast? The western part of the US is very "moun-tanious"?
