Sp aff. stands for species affinis and means that the plant looks like that species but is different in a meaningful way. This means it may represent variation within the species that has been poorly documented or a new undiscribed species closely related to Lepanthes calophlebia.
Love to see cool Lepanthes, they're great plants!

@@deedeeblooms7896 I do grow Lepanthes, I have 4 and I've found them very rewarding and fun to grow. I really love their tiny blooms.

Do you use RO water for watering?

Hello - I use rainwater collected via my rain barrels. If I run out of rainwater I use my tap water. Thankfully my tap water isn’t too bad for tds or alkalinity. I have many plastic milk jugs I saved to store my rainwater or if I’m using tap water I let it sit overnight at least for the chlorine to dissipate. Thanks so much for watching! Sadly I lost this orchid. Broke my heart. I didn’t realize until it was too late that the moss overtook it. Tragic! If I get a chance I will get this one again. 💕

@@deedeeblooms7896 thank you for answering me. I know you are sad that you lost this orchid. Just keep on trying. It’s not easy to grow Lepanthes, sometimes they die for no obvious reason 😞
