@@thocka5144Kakashi was 5-7, but you must understand something. Sakumo didn’t abandon Kakashi, this isn’t western view of suicide, it’s eastern viewpoint. Naruto takes many many elements from feudal japan. When a family member /especially/ the head of a family is disgraced, the name is disgraced. Kakashi and Sakumo would have been treated like less than dirt by the entire village (we have seen how fickle and vicious they are), Kakashi would have been treated worse than Naruto, because no laws were protecting him, and he wouldn’t be able to lawfully fight civilians, either. They could deny them services and essentially starve them out. The other shinobi would not regard their life as anything to protect (IF they get missions). Kakashi was small, this was a death sentence, sure they could go the long route and claw it back, but that’s an astronomical feat, especially with Sakumo’s mental health deteriorating and dragging his physical health down with it. Sakumo committed seppuku, that’s ritual suicide, the way it works is it clears the name of the family. It is not an easy decision, it’s considered the second most painful form of suicide next to /burning yourself alive/, and it doesn’t kill you nearly as quickly if you don’t have a second, which he didn’t. He died an /agonizing/ death that took /hours/. He did it to save his son’s life, ultimately. It is just a horrible painfully hard position to be put in. I’m not saying it didn’t hurt Kakashi, because it did, it destroyed him, and it’s unfortunate he was the one to find him, but I’m just trying to say it’s not so black amd white.
The thing that irritates me about scenes like this is that they were inserted AFTER Naruto's journey to acknowledgement was complete. Kakashi, Shikamaru, Choji, Ebisu - all of them had the opportunity to not treat Naruto like dog shit and they did literally nothing. They could have been that friend he needed but chose to go along with isolating him like the rest of the village. They didn't reach out to him until after his accomplishments. It's more that they value what he can do versus who he really is. As far as the series goes, the only two people who accepted him unconditionally were Iruka and Hinata. That's it.
This was back in the beginning episodes and it was peak Naruto. I miss this aspect of the story. The times when they hit you in the feels with some harsh but true words. Life lessons like this is why Naruto is loved world wide and why Boruto sucks A$$ since it is a dead show with no meaningful moments at all.
Naruto hurts more than more when he was small but he never gives up and become the hokage 🥶. back ground music is very nice 👍it's makes me feels
this words touches my heart 💓💓.
not only you, every true Naruto fans tok
I could literally just listen to Kakashi’s voice on repeat. Sub or dub ❤
After learning if kakashis backstory I think he would understand better than Naruto, as he lost his father whom he looked up to as an idol
he also lost his sensei, who just so happens to be Narutos father
The thing is, Naruto‘s father saved Naruto while Kakashi‘s father abandoned him by killing himself when Kakashi was 5 years old
