When you put new strings on you need to stretch them. Hold the string in the nut, then pull it gently away from the fretboard along the length of the string, retune string, rinse and repeat until the string is still in tune after pulling on it. Do this for strings 2-6, for the high e hold the string in the nut and do full step bends along the length of the string, you risk breaking it pulling on it like the others. If you don't stretch your strings before playing they will be worn out before they will stay in tune after a bend.

Those vibration boxes have been around for awhile. They've actually supposed to vibrate the wood of an acoustic guitar to simulate the aging of vintage instruments to improve tone. Of course, this is nonsense, because wood only changes tonally because of drying and shifting.
I’d be interested to know where you got that last part. I know from personal experience that a gap of a few years in the storage of the wood (prior to making an instrument from it) doesn’t make an noticeable difference, whereas an instrument which is a few years old sounds quite different from a newly strung up one.
i know multiple high end classical guitar luthiers who are certain that vibration plays a role in tonal shift, however, such a gadget is likely to do more harm than good when the vibrations it produces are nothing like that of the guitar strings it's trying to emulate.
Luthiers believe a lot of myths and wood doesn't have magical properties. It dries over time and shrinks as it does so, that's the only thing that really changes to affect tone. No news from BCR, I've stopped caring though.
@@sixstringtv1 yeah not worth thinking about it ! been 2 weeks take it easy man how are things in the UK no shootings daily like here i would hope
I'm from Germany, but there aren't any shootings here either
@@sixstringtv1 oh I thought u was in UK sry take care man cool channel bud
This. Highlarious. Music and breaking shit. Good times.
*Great* times. Glad you think so too 😁
Malmsteen recommended I check out this video.
Gained a lot of attention through the malmsteen vid, thanks for hanging out!
Now if you could buy an AliExpress $300 multi scale guitar that would be awesome
Not a multiscale, but I've got something similar planned
I dont know what a kdh is and at this point i'm afraid to ask.
Guitarbage?
oui
Ive seen the actual one on stewmac I don’t remember everything it claims but I don’t think it was for breaking in strings I believe it was for “breaking in the guitar “ lol like it tires to replicate years of playing by some bs theory of vibrating the wood sounds like boomer logic to me
That's somehow worse than my interpretation of what it was. And I thought StewMac didnt sell BS 😂
You got it wrong. This vibrating device is NOT for breaking in your strings. You could try and do you homework first.
What homework, it's an AliExpress product 🤣
I only have at my disposal what they supply me with
@@sixstringtv1 homework in terms what such gadgets are used for. To try to use it for breaking in the strings, and than to say that it doesn't work? Of course it wouldn't work, it is not meant for it.
@@chukcha63 What is it meant for then ?
@@lololololkitty there is an American equivalent of this gadget, called ToneRite. Google it, on their website they explain what such gadgets are for.
*never picked up a bat in his life*
I'm a guitar player why am I supposed to have picked up a baseball bat at any point in my life 💀
@@sixstringtv1 bro... is jok... Relax lol
Every cent that is spent for this rubbish is to much
True dat
That first thing is an Ebow ripoff
Not really tho. Similar but It doesn't even make the strings resonate (and an Ebow isn't attached to the guitar)
cool video.
Thanks 😌
i'm disappointed that you didn't plug the guitar in with the vibrator attached, i bet there's some stoner doom fans out there who could make use of something like that...
A few people have told me that now, I'm disappointed in myself frankly..
also, those little portable amps are very useful for practising with earbuds while on a bus or other places where audible music isn't allowed but that would make good practise time.
I've used ones like the Vox AmPlug, fantastic piece of gear. This one however... no
@@sixstringtv1 sounds exactly the same with headphones, dont be an elitist.
There is an endless amount of little dumb shit like this for drummers too. Gloves that claim to make us a better drummer LMFAO Im sure people buy that crap too lmao. People will buy ANYTHING and do ANYTHING to get better, OTHER THAN PRACTICING! I will never get it lol
This is hilarious 😭
Best guitar channel on UA-cam right now!
🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Is des ne Perügge?
nein
Sounds like that guitar break-in vibrator would be interesting to my gf. Not a chauvinist comment btw.
She'd get more use out of it than your guitar
Hey man, where you from?
You speak with England pronunciation, but showcases the prices of things in Euros, not GBP, so...
🤷🏻♂️
I'm from Germany. I just never liked the American accent so I went for more of a *pip pip cheerio* accent while learning
@@sixstringtv1 Nice.
Just like Milian from Soulhenge channel, I thought he was british, but he is German as well.
I'm brazilian but also prefer the England's english accent. 😁
He’s like KDH but a different person
That's a great compliment. KDH was my main inspiration for the content I make.
