That overdrive preset sounds pretty cool. Love the pocket size of the modeler too. May not be the best, but there's something to be said for small pocketsize gear. 👍
No offense to you. I personally wouldn’t buy from temu. They’re plenty of articles questioning their business practices not to mention spyware, possible child slave labor ties etc.
@@joelchappelljr - overblown? It doesn't affect you right? Wait until our greedy politicians finish selling the US down the river and see how it affects you. Great video, Steve! I've bought a few things from Temu before. It recently made a splash in my country (Mexico) and they've got fairly speedy shipping. I recently got a guitar stand, but a different model to yours. It's pretty good, and very portable. They're adding more guitar related stuff, some of which I've bought on other sites and are of pretty decent quality (the P&P guitar straps, for example). It's also a haven for useful everyday tools, just useful stuff of acceptable quality. I've a tool kit like the one you received, most things are pretty useful but I'd only caution using those "diamond coated" files on a fret board. I'd rather keep them for other kind of projects around the house! Also the fret crowning file works alright, but you gotta use a light touch or else you'll mark the fret wire (I use it when my Baroque 4-in-1 doesn't have the right size for the job).
That tool is called an ESP wrench. Yes, I am a sucker for tools... I have at least three of them. I put a bit of painters' tape on the underside of the cheap ones in case of sharp edges on the tool. I do own one of those Cubaby (whatever, same as yours) modelers and I've messed with it a bit, I also used my FF338, but I put P90s in mine. I keep both of them at my girlfriend's house, I used them to jam with her mom on piano a while back through a little Peavey practice amp (love the Peavey stuff). I'd love to see you do a walk through of that! I think I had to download the software, it didn't come with it. It sounds surprisingly good for what it is, definitely not going to replace my LT, though!
Don’t know how I can still be surprised, but that small multi-efx / amp modeler sounds better than reality should lawfully allow. I would have sold my dick to have been able to buy perfectly good gear for $20, $40 back in the mid 70s when I was a teen, but back then, gear was ridiculously expensive. There were no Squiers or Chibsons back then, plus gear wasn’t nearly as common as it is now. In my school, there were only 2 other ppl I knew of who played guitar. People used to get impressed if I played a G chord. They’d be all “How do you DO that??” , “ Wow, do that AGAIN”, etc Then, the concept of owning a Gibson guitar and a Marshall amp was strictly a fantasy.
Not to be negative or start trolling.. But I personally would have to research the company further Who’s making the stuff etc. It’s just so inexpensive. I’ll be paying attention though

@SteveSterlacci I bought a mooer preamp pedal a while ago. The 5153 one. It's pretty sweet. I boost it with a precision drive. Just got an frfr not too long ago, i go back and forth between, using a joyo zombies fx return and a cab i have, or the frfr I bought. All their preamp pedals come with a cab sim. Idk if they are matched with the amps they are copying, but good regardless. I don't really like cradle of filth. But they liked them so much that was their rig for their huge venus. And they used the mooer radars for a different cab sim. Kinda crazy a big band would do that.
I've been looking for a crazy cheap modeler as a failsafe for a gig. I had an Nux MG 300 but not happy with it for the price. for 35 bucks, i'm in for a try.
