Hey, quick question! Can you still use Catalyst on ZV-E10 when VC on Tamron is on? I have Sigma 18-50 2.8 and the lack of stabilisation is just annoying as I mostly do video with ZV-E10 and stabilising a lot of clips with Calatyst takes forever. I plan on getting the Tamron but I'm not sure of VC is enough so I'd like to knof if can combine VC on the Tamron with ZV-E10 gyro data in Catalyst? Thanks!
For micro jitters and general usage I found that the tamron 17-70mm is great If you’re talking about walking you’ll need a gimbal I don’t use the catalyst browse app cause it takes too long for my workflow
I had already decided on getting the Sony ZV-E10 with the Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 lens. I’m so glad you posted this video cause it definitely confirmed my decision. Now I’m deciding on a gimbal that could best balance this combo. Any recommendations???
Heck yeah glad I can help!! So for gimbal the ronin sc original has been my go to. You can find them used for as low as $100. That’s kinda how ended up with two of them. You might have to weight it down because the zv is so light.

Yes, you can! In fact, if you have a non-stabilized camera this lens adds stabilization to it. The autofocus is great and the image quality is pretty good.
While this does give you quite a few different updates its not a lot of upgrades It’s better sensor so low light and general picture quality is better. It has better video, autofocus and has digital stabilization. If you were looking for an upgrade the Sony a6600 or a7iii are cameras to consider. You can find them used for cheaper nowadays.

How do you pair these two to work properly? When I attach my lenses and switch to photography mode the screen is black! Is there a certain setting I need this on
Mine didn't do that but here are my thoughts: make sure the settings don't change when you switch to photos. Try updating the firmware on both. Make sure to clean the connection ports. If those don't work let me know so we can think so more on how to get this to work!

But when I switch to manual mode it turns black but it works in program auto mode
