Steve Smith is great lmao "two things I know, orange juice and quarterbacks " (completely serious) 😂😂. He's obv a HOF wr (best I can think of under 6 ft off the top of my head) and is great to listen to his perspective.
Steve Smith makes every show he is on better. Really did not expect that. I realize now that during his entire playing career I thought he was a very different kind of person than he actually is.
@16:00 "Sounding like Jon Gruden".....YEP! I even closed my eyes and thought I ws listening to Gruden! I thought it was only me. He's had a rough year....but I believe the Raiders will be back. He's too good a coach to not have more success.
in between 27 mins in and 29 mins in a guy that looks like Jeff fisher walks by lol...... White shirt walking in the background looking at an up and coming coach!
nah NFL is one of the few leagues where it starts with the coaches, with 22 starters not counting special teams there are so many dynamics that coaches play an unbelievable role in football. case and point the rams. players barely changed but look at the change of output in wins
It shows why the NFL has so many teams that never win a SB! Look at this guy who hasn't won anything-THE POST SEASON IS THE TEST, and wasn't even qualified to be an OC; offense performed worse in his third year in the red zone, and only a short passing yardage scripted scheme that yields lots of between the 20 easy yards; could not solve the problem of the run game in DC no matter what he did. But he was smart enough to take a run with Wade Phillips. But he hasn't proven he can win anything accept some regular season games-that only came when they got Bill Callahan to fix the offensive line problems and a real QB's coach in Matt Cavanaugh-and the peacocks, Gruden and McVeigh get all the credit for the regular season success they did have. And he is scooped up to be the head coach of the Rams. I mean, the standards are so low for such and important position. Hmmm, I just have not seen Bill Bellichick in this guy. The Skins where nothing but copy cats. Copy cats don't win over the originals.
Well Billy Belly got a HC job at 42...had 10 years under Parcells..yes, McVay has a while to go....but he will get there...whehter it be the Rams or another team. He is a leader, unlike Bellyboy who was a loser-leader for a few years before he turned it around.
smh. As if, everybody has the mind "Billy Belly" has as long as they get an opportunity. The fallacy of that extension to McVeigh has been disproved by at least 100 fired HC! So, I stand on my original argument against. I think the league has seen the mind of Bill Belich. is above that of the typical or even decent NFL HC. McVeigh has proven that he is already smarter than Jay Gruden, just by virtue of the DC he selected. If McVeigh though like Jay Gruden, he would have selected a proven loser at DC and selected a young first time OC and no QB to bring Goth around to McVeigh offensive scheme while ignoring his franchise QB's prior training and established skill set. I just have not seen it yet that McVeigh should be a head coach. Heck, he hasn't even won a playoff game.
Good points....football is an emotional game and so are the fans....dig the NFL. McVay can't even spell his name right.....so, he can't be that smart ;)

Matt P Marvin Harrison was under 6ft
He might be inventing a new talk show role: the alpha side-kick. I like him in this capacity. Great player as well.
0:04 to 0:09 Gruden is that you? Sounds just like him.
Add Steve Smith to the show!!
Steve Smith makes every show he is on better. Really did not expect that. I realize now that during his entire playing career I thought he was a very different kind of person than he actually is.
In his second year as hear coach for the LA Rams, he took the Rams to the SuperBowl !!!!
Got lucky interference???

0:25 This could have been asked week 5 of the 2018 season
SB CHAMP! 🤟🏼
But I will say, McVeigh is a very likable person.
McVay
I feel like Miami of Ohio should also start paying Sean. LOL
Steve Smith is jacked!
Haven't heard coach speak like this since Shula retired.
in between 27 mins in and 29 mins in a guy that looks like Jeff fisher walks by lol...... White shirt walking in the background looking at an up and coming coach!
i though he said the hack code of the rams
Jon Gruden clone
He is smoking hot!!!!
Y'all just gonna let Steve Smith's racist joke about Cooper Kupp slide ?
Exactly what was racist?
Remember kids, it's the players that make the coaches good or great! Not the other away around. Unless it's rigged of course.

But, don't worry, McVeigh has certainly learned how to put Goth in a training wheels offense.

The Truth Matters ummmm so how about that offense so far huh?
