it is a requirement\law to clean the roads afterwards or are they just being nice by doing it?
It is illegal to make a mess on the road and that rule exists in the UK as well. It is just that there they get away with placing signs to warn of the danger, which is in my opinion wrong. Motorbikes, cyclists and horses have trouble dealing with crap like that on the road and it is only right that the road is cleaned after. It is also why sometimes 2 teams of trailers operate, 1 in the field and 1 strictly on the road, to prevent the 'mud on road' issue.

I'm curious as to what the benefits are of having a Trike over a standard tractor. Also why the front axle was left installed on the T7, surely it'd be better to take it off to save a big of weight?
The front axle is left on so once the drilling season is over, the tractor goes back to standard for other jobs. The trike formation spreads the weight right across its width and not just part of it, to get more even crop establishment.

@@markfryer9880 It depends a bit on what engineering firms can offer and also what the client wants, but basically if drive is needed, hydrostatic drive is available. Others worry less about drive and rely on the rear axle only to provide drive. Some conversions are permanent, while others are temporary/seasonal.

Anyone know why they plough and then immediately drill seed? I would have thought that the drill seeding would have been enough. Or is it to get rid of the green waste from previous crop?
It’s the Netherlands, mostly below sea level. We need to plow for the soil to be farmable

Why are they not washing the roots before storage ?
Washing can/does facilitate disease spread from one root to another, and within the individual roots themselves, via any mechanical damage incurred due to the harvest operation.
