Great video! I think it's very clever how the support truck runs at an angle over the field to help minimize compaction. In general, what is the common profit per acre of sugar beets?
Always amazing to see how crops are harvested. The machinery are so unique. Thanks for sharing how it is done. Happy subscriber from Seattle Washington USA 😊 !
Does the dump tractor crab like that to reduce compaction? Also, why are they plowing? I haven't seen a plow in action in the US in many years because of soil conservation efforts. Granted, that flat field isn't going to get a lot of rain runoff.
Because it’s the Netherlands. There’s no farming without plowing in our soil conditions. Also, there’s a lot of plowing still in the US mainly in the North-west.
Is all this equipment owned by he people growing the crop or is it contracted? Thanks for the video as now I know how sugar beets are harvested. (Mississippi Gulf Coast.

It’s contracted. It’s in the video description.
why do they just pour in on the floor at the end
What are they drilling after the sugar beet?
Wheat

@@flundgames7238 ever heard of winter wheat? Most farms I know aim to plant in late autumn or early winter
Is that drilling the new crop in, within minutes of harvesting?
Looks to be that way. Crazy
Yes it is
Approximately how much does a sugarbeet weigh
Why not having the tractors go directly to the harvester rather than the truck?
