Aren't vigilantes seen as criminals? According to law, a normal civilian can't go around pretending to be police, by getting involved in cases that can compromise the vigilante's or some other persons life, and a vigilante can abuse on the concept of lethal force, by attacking people without them attacking or threatening someone. This guy would have been arrested for harassment and vigilantism. But, gravity and his stupidity got him first.
