"Stuck in a cage with baboons" feels like a metaphor for working with undergrad students'.
Omg, I want to become a professor. Being stuck in a baboon cage sounds awesome
is he in jail?
As an undergrad student I can confirm that a banana usually calms be down
As if you were never an undergraduate
this man died for the content, he really is the best youtuber.
Good news is he raised from the dead to post it. Dedication and humility to still post after that likely traumatizing and humiliating moment.
*was
Lol the monkey king is here!
He got turned into content
Moment of silence please for our fallen brother 🙏🏻
Glad to see the budget museum - baboon cabal relationship is flourishing. Will I have to worry about the objectivity of the script from now on?
possibly.
@@TheBudgetMuseum did the baboons write this comment
@@Seinsmelled nah, not like the subreddit, despite my efforts

Rest in pepperonis The Budget Muesum. Mauled to death by a pack of totally reasonable and beautiful baboons who have done no wrong.
Once more, the best museum for a broke, jobless college student is back.
I have a childhood friend who was born in Africa. They would tell me stories of baboons breaking into their house and eating their produce as well as “rain spiders” who would also invade after every storm. So different from the nature of the upper Midwest. (Except the spiders… in winter our house becomes the warm overwinter hangout spot for all our local spiders. Wolf, yellow sac, fishing, recluse, etc.)
Can confirm, live in South Africa and have seen not only baboons but smaller monkeys climb in through people's windows.
Try to avoid generalising, Africa is not a country. Be specific, name the exact country, saying "in Africa" sounds lazy and racist.
@@MKRex Its possible they as a child never asked them in what part of Africa, second it sounds that way to ya but can just be taken as I said "Maybe they didnt know, plus the point comes across" as it is one of the continents just as many refer to American friends as coming from North America or the U.S. lol.
@@MKRex mald more
@@XonixDerps that's because Americans (USA) monopolised the term by calling themselves the United states of America", so there's basically no other way to refer to them. It's kind of annoying to the rest of the Americas i guess, but that's the way it is....
"..baboon men rejected from society, AND WOMEN!!"
Hahaha I love it!
Sadly the very cute monke sentence was removed from Wikipedia
It's really nice that you talked about the recently classified Kinda Baboon, but it would've been better if you mentioned the extinct Dinopithecus, also known as the Hella Baboon.
I love the subtle monty python influence. Well done all around!
I took a primatologist course and a huge section was baboon’s, and you nailed most of the points I learned about in that class. Awesome work, dude!
Really informational and funny. Surprisingly high quality for a small channel.
My man paid the ultimate price to make this video, mad respect.
Humor is on point in this one
underrated video, you have the potential to be the next tier zoo or sam o nella. the jokes are pretty funny, tricking the baboon the firs time with the banana especially. my only suggestion is to lower the amount and especially the volume of the animal noises.
I think it's so funny but also sensible that since they don't wear clothes, baboon just evolved a hard butt to sit on instead of making pants + chairs. Honestly quite the chad move. I feel like a padded ass would help a lot of people out.
I've always thought baboons have that "Clint Eastwood 1,000 yard stare" thing going on.
Dont ever change your mic bro, let the low quality mic be your channel signature
A little story from my experience with baboons. My family are from south africa and where my grand parents lived had baboons everywhere, like stray dogs but more annoying. One time while my grandma was sitting on the porch with my neighbor, my neighbors chihuahua broke off of its lead and chased a male baboon, the baboon picked it up and literally ripped it in half;
Just when I thought I couldn’t possibly love baboons more.
Holy shit is he ok? Can we expect more videos in the future?
no.
he's dead.
want a 🍌?
Yeah, he still has 100 lives.
I'm sorry the baboon exhibit has become so problematic! Hopefully your next exhibit can feature something a bit more docile
I found this video educational and rather entertaining.
For me i was very intrigued to find out that the baboons here in South Africa are only ones that live in the rocky mountain areas! Thought it was like that for all baboons.in Afrikaans we even have a song about it.Their favorite food stealing places are picnic areas near their home.
I grew up being taught to never get close to them or their territory for obvious reasons. We recently had a big country wide plight to get a specific baboon male back to his original territory after he was removed for "safety reasons" except everyone living near him loved him and respected his space.
Also RIP Mr Museum.
I like the more humorous approach to this video while still maintaining the content, this style should definitely be continued 👍
You know its gonna be a good budget museum episode when the title is just the name of the creature being spoken about
The baboon cage premise is so good. I love your style!
I think of the ape family, orangutans have to be my favorite, because they're such friendly, dopey apes. All wild animals are dangerous, but orangutans will often help humans they see in dangerous places. For example the orangutan that tried to save a wildlife ranger from the pond full of snakes he came to exterminate for the orangutans.
@@jacka4346 ?????
orangutans are kind of amazingly bad at moving, they look like some other ape combined with a sloth. their babies are very cute, they look like little hairy homers.
the Orang is the most civilized of all apes.
Gorillas also are cool. They won't harm you unless you don't pose a threat and just make sure by body language you don't want a confrontation.
All monkeys and apes are pretty chill if you don't look them in the eye or smile at them
The kinda baboon wiki doesn’t say it is a very cute monke anymore :,(
oh to be a baboon in a cage with the budget museum
Man, who knew NFT's could be so aggressive
This deserves a like
every second of this is perfection
You should make a discord server, I think it would be awesome.

Return to monke
This video is so beautiful, i keep coming back to it. It was so sweet of the baboons to upload this to youtube
I love the TES:IV Oblivion sound effects every now and then in your videos.
Could be worth noting that, as with other animals, these social behaviours are learned and can change depending on circumstances or the environment. There is a Baboon troop known as the "Garbage Dump Troop" that, after the most agressive males, successeful at getting the best food from the garbage dump, died of tuberculosis from eating tainted meat, the remaining Baboons had an enormous social shift, with the less agressive males even engaging in grooming behaviour and so on. Males coming in from other troops were taught this behaviour, and the social atmosphere continues even without any of the original males present!
This was adorable. Just the sheer repetition of the word “baboon” makes it Kikito worthy.
Here's hoping you can break from the chains of baboon society and rise up to create more videos.
Reject Monke, Return to Humanity
I like to imagine the wahoo is like Mario :) but the baboons will probably take offense to that. Instead I’ll offer them a banana 🍌
This channel has "Diamond City Radio" vibes i effing love it lol
6:42 I laughed so hard. You are good at humor.
Obviously you did something to make the baboons attack, I say they are innocent
They are innocent. That punk literally attacked first.
@@Stevie-J Well I'm not a therapist, you have talk to a actual one.
@@Stevie-J Just get some professional help. The only thing that's attacking you is the honest truth.
The baboons butt flashed on my screen right before an ad played. Thanks
jesus that "wahoo!" was terrifying.
6:35 the grind never stops
I have no idea why this is in my recommended, but Frankly I'm not complaining.
You need more subs. I’m sharing your work. Keep this up, so far you’re one of the only entertaining youtubers I watch nowadays. Thank you.
3:53 what a cute family!
Found this channel late last year when it had like 3k subs, and god damn it I knew you would blow up!
Quality. Subscribed!
Oh... I was already subscribed ^^
I really enjoy your comedic and factual delivery.
love this channel! keep it up mane!
Ok I gotta say I love the video first off but since I watched it when it came out,it has been popping up in my recommended for three weeks. I see it when I close my eyes and I swear I see it when I walk around at night. This video refuses to leave me alone and I’m scared.
This guy grew so much, I remember when he had just 200 subs and his vids barely got a few hundred views.
I like all of your videos but this is definitely my favorite
still one of my favourite videos to rewatch
I super appreciate the humor and effort you put into your videos, have been watching through your content the past week here and there and it's always a joy.
I noticed that "infantile" comment on whatever video, and it is so misguided and humorless a take on your material. Infantile, to me, is stuff like Tierzoo and Ze Frank that clearly have tons of views from kids, where one can't go 10-15 seconds without a meaningless videogame analogy or painful to listen to sex joke.
This is so informative! Great job, fantastic reporting!🌻🌼🐝 Keep it up 🙌
Bro yelled at the end like lebron James in space jam 2
Return to Baboon
Dang I remember leaving a comment on making a baboon video and was flabbergasted when this came out
Budgett's frog is NOT baboon *furiously scribbles notes*
Why did this man decide to make UA-cam??! He could be a world class actor of he wanted to!
Sacrificed himself in the name of science what a hero
Thanks again Buddy!
I was kinda hoping you might have been able to explain WHY Baboons have such enormous canine teeth?
As you know, some folks are afraid of spiders, snakes, etc.Well...
I have a significant discomfort (not so much a fear but yeah, fear) of Apes. Especially Chimps.
They REALLY creep me out for some reason and pictures and videos of Baboons, with those Lion like canine teeth sure don't help matters.
I understand they use them as part of their fight for dominance and being omnivores, I'm sure they also come in handy for dispatching live prey but usually, evolution requires a bit more incentive than those two side-benefits for development. I mean, these teeth are HUGE!!! Also, no other primate has such enormous teeth (per body size).
Is there some ancient relative that made good use of them ? (anyone know?)
Thanks!
Loved the shenanigans, keep up the good work
6:01 - 6:29
"Wahoo!"
You're welcome.
Its Called a "waho"? Thats cute. *listens to wahoo*
Jesus christ, no, oh no, thats terrifying.
A for acting. You will recieve my vote for the next Oscar nominee
I am proud to be part of a family of colorful and almost flying mammals
Return to Monke
The end felt like a fever dream
This is my favorite channel
Baboons seem like the scariest primates aside from humans. Maybe its due to their dog like muzzle and brutish looking eyes. Or maybe its because of Dragon Ball Z.
9:21 this is why so many great bands of the 1960s stopped recording music together.
