Yes, but humans were made in the image and likeness of God. Animals and angels were not.
This was really endearing, seeing these adult men being so open and interested in the cats. It's strange but some people see being kind and loving to animals as a weak trait, and I'm glad to see these fellas be the opposite.
To me, there's no greater trait than having a loving nature. Kindness to animals is a blessing. ❤
Being kind to animals is literally a trope for being a good person. What is looked down on is people who treat their animals like their children. For one thing, their pets are all adults at some point. And secondly, such people often neglect their human relationships.

This was a great video, full of love and laughter. I'm so glad to see Chester - he's come a long way. I wondered what happened to him. Adnan, you are amazing, period. Aww, you were really thinking of what happened to Chester. He, like Jasper has found a home and a family. They are never gonna be alone now. My mom specially loves all our fur babies but my dad also connects with them. Chester likes to spend most of his time with my dad in fact.

Cats are amazing. I have medical problems that can at times cause me intense pain that can't really be stopped.
My cat recognizes when this is happening and will come and lay on my lap and curl up around my arm like a hug. She will stay until I drift off to sleep then carefully go off on her patrols of the house.
I truely don't know what I would do without her.
I have severe depression and nightmares. My 20+ pound cat comes to me when I'm really down and comes and goes from my bed when he senses I'm having nightmares. He's so big (big as in BIG plus carrying a bit too much weight) and so smart. Too smart. I could never get him to exercise because he found it more entertaining to watch me try to encourage him. Chase a string? No thanks. Laser toys? Interesting, but when he figured out where the light was coming from or heard the faint sound of automated laser toys, he'd just look at me like..."nice try." The vet said he must have been an engineer in a former lifetime. He also knows way more keyboard shortcuts than I do. He'll lie by my computer and somehow, the minute I glance away, he'll reach over and send unfinished emails, maximize or minimize windows and sometimes do something I have to look up online to remedy. Sorry for the long post, and sorry for your pain - but glad you have your girl to comfort you.
To both of you, I suffer from chronic pain and depression and I also wouldn't be without my cats.
AFAIK scientists still don't know exactly how cats purr but it's believed that, as well as it being something they do when content, it also reduces pain. Now I believe and you probably do too that cats can sense a lot of these things that we can't and this is why they do what we've noticed. I do think it might take a few years to develop because in my memory, I've not seen very young cats do this.
I had a Siamese, the one in my profile pic, that was scared of men but once when my ex was sick this cat went and curled up with him to heal him. They're such precious animals!
Thank you, I tried my bests in educating our friends about animal being useful to us other than cattles you know. Just a few weeks ago my mom's chemo ended and me and my dad were discussing about how tough she was during that time. My dad said half of the credit goes to our cats specially Leone in helping her get through and I totally believe he is very right about that. I'm so grateful for all of them to be a part of my family. They all are so good to each other and to us as well.
@karenfryberger4260 I'm so sorry you are both suffering.. I also battle chronic depression and various health issues.. sometimes I'm screaming (inside) of unbearable pain at the end of the day... So I can truly relate and empathize 😢 I am also a HUGEEE animal lover. I have the smartest sweetest dog that ever existed but she spoons with my husband at night lol I'm usually in a different bedroom bc of my health issues and I'm certain I would never be able to sleep without my cat(s) in my arms and/or my bed. I rescued a precious "feral" older male that was very ill, several yrs ago. It's a very long story but I took care of him for months... he ended up being my best friend.. he slept in my arms alllll night like a newborn baby. I lost him, Mr. Henry last yr and it nearly killed me but you can't even believe a different one of my babies, another rescue, began sleeping with me out of nowhere. My precious lil Hope is now my bedtime buddy ❤ along with Jeffree and Cane. I love my cats beyond explanation. They have rescued me over and over.. way more then I rescued them ❤🐈⬛🐈
My goodness, these men have a special place in my heart and I love everyone so much more after seeing this!! I love the open and honest discussion between them all, along with the storytelling for us. You are all so lovely ❤❤

So sweet! I celebrated my Lucie's 6th birthday in August by making a new toy for her and giving her a little yogurt.
We have two Cats and we love them with all of our hearts the names are Nugget and Blue
💖 I have a black cat named Ichabod, but I call him Ichy for short. He's a Bombay - I found him abandoned in a ditch along the highway when he was a tiny kitten.

Those are BIG cats. I had three cats, decades ago, all quite fluffy, but half that size. Fun to see the guys enjoying some cake and banter. Muhktiar helped Adnan take cats to the clinic? Nice to hear that they are there for each other. 😊
Happy Birthday Leone! We have a party for our dog (Winston) on his birthday with a cake and presents but he also gets Christmas presents as well. More people should realize what taking good care of pets does for the pet and themselves.

the hats are called sindhi topi (topi means hat). Do you have a muslim area in your town ? maybe you can find it there.

My other dog have her 1 years birthday soon, too. I have to make sure we have treats and other stuff that day.
I always make a "cake" for my dogs when they have birthday. It's made of liver and meat and things like that. 🤭
You should show them some of the videos of people playing music for animals, especially cows. There are several of people standing in a field and as soon as they start playing music, cows come running towards them to listen.

I’m so happy to see others being so open to the idea of pet birthdays. For some, like myself, a pet is an irreplaceable family member. In my case, my cat is not only family. He came to me when I was in a very sad place and needed him most. He has helped me through so many hard times when I didn’t have anyone else. Because of this, I always try to celebrate every year that he is with me. So, again, I’m happy to see people being open to the idea even if it isn’t something that they regularly participate in. Much love!

This is so cute! Adnan, if your kitty is having urinary problems, it's common in male cats, especially if they don't drink enough water. You can add extra water to his food, and have a couple bowls of water around your house (away from the food) that he can drink from whenever he feels like it! Love the channel! :)

Leone used to have those problems a lot but now he is doing great. I have three pet drinking water fountains all around my two bedroom apartment and the cats (all four) drink plenty of water 🙂
I’m what we in AustralIa call “a crazy cat lady”. This means a person who has more than two cats. I have three at the moment but would love a fourth one! I don’t think you can have too many cats to love, unless taking care of them is outside of your budget or physical ability. Your Leone and Chester are beautiful cats and obviously well taken care of. It was lively watching this little birthday party. Thank you for sharing.

It's worth considering that humans have domesticated a fair number of animals. Cats are the only animal that domesticated themselves. They saw us with our food and our mouse problems, and they decided it would be a good deal if they could help us out by eating the mice and we could care for them. Apparently that happened about 12,000 years ago.
I am also a little surprised that they'd view cats less favorably. It's my understanding the Prophet Mohammad cut off his own shirt sleeve at one point because his cat had fallen asleep on it, and he didn't want to disturb his pet.
Have you considered showing them some of the talking cat or talking dog videos? It is an interesting thing. There are youtubers like Todd Talks where the cat designs his own toys and his dad tries to make them for him, or BililSpeaks where the cat actually named her mom's best friend Squirrel, which is the first time a cat has ever named a human. Also Bili doesn't like Hamilton. Stella was the first talking animal. And there's Bunny, who asks questions about her family and friends. There are others, too.
