I remember trying one of those chairs for the first time about 25 years ago. I was blown away. Never felt more relaxed in my life. I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, Adnan. She will be in my prayers! 🥰

I wish my dad had got one of those full body massage chairs. He primarily wanted one for himself as he is a COPD patient since 30+ years and a portable hand massager works best when he feels his chest tightened. But my mom had been complaining of pain in her feet these days so dad got both of these things for her specially 😊 thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Nice to see everyone enjoying the massage chair, especially your mom. I hope she is feeling better. As has been proven, physical pain can be triggered/ worsened by emotional pain. Some of the pain your dad is feeling is probably coming from how upset he feels about his wife’s illness and treatment.
I recently listened to an audiobook called The Last Beekeeper, by Siya Turabi. It is set in Sindh province, and is about a teenage boy whose father gets in trouble. He must flee home. The boy travels to Karachi, where he meets other students in the wealthy household he stays at.
I really enjoyed it, and it was neat to hear the names of places, and descriptions you have taught me.

@@ladiuneeq9789 no I'm not familiar with that, though I've heard about the term. My dad may know, he is a doctor himself, an anesthesiologist to be specific and the kind of COPD he has is called Chronic Bronchitis. I'll make sure to do some study about Keto and share it with my dad.

@@TRYBALS I hope I did not offend you by mentioning those two doctors (I see my comment was deleted), but I mentioned them because they are experts on clean eating (keto) and many illnesses. I got healed from several ailments including asthma when I went on keto.

Everyone's initial reaction so very entertaining yet, in keeping with their personalities as we have come to know them. Although Mukhtiar is more animated. A giggling Muharam. So endearing. Not able to gauge how long each was able to enjoy the massage but quite certain none of them wanted it to end. Definitely plan to rewatch as reading the captions took away from being able to just appreciate the visuals. Would've been fun to hear them describing their experience to family and friends. 😊

Yes, I just love these guys! the guy in the red vest is my age and I still see the young man in him (just like in America, we're all getting older but not yet ready to be older!) The older gentleman is more reserved and you can tell a teacher who takes his position of esteem very seriously. But the universal idea is, we all dislike depending on our loved ones for massages, as much as we would like them. (Yet newly married, it was so new and fun!) Now, I pay my teenage children a small amount if they will rub my feet at night sometimes... I used to allow them to stay up later in exchange! A universal human pleasure and fun to see the technology catch up.
I will pray for your mother to be healed and think you are a good son to get her this chair!
At 11:12 where it's noted the people who need it can't afford it... Yes, we here in America feel the same way!
Also, the regular chair in your studio is so beautiful!

Definitely something that would benefit the young men who are working, and our elders who could use that for tender muscles. Mukhtiar is a house painter? That's hard work - I did that for 12 years. I knew I liked him for some reason! :) I like all your friends on this show and it's me who learns something every time - something good about human beings ( I can be guilty of cynicism). Well done! Unrelated question - so some of your friends are Sindhi, but Chacha is Baloch? and Parvati is Bheel - right? So I was wondering do people from either the Baloch or Bheel tribes share the same last name? Sort of like Sikhs have Singh And Kaur? I ask because in another video Parvati had "Bheel" after her name and Chacha had "Baloch". Of course you may have been simply indicating which tribe they were.... thanks!

Massage is not a big part of the culture here in the US. I have had one full body massage in my life (which left me unable to walk LOL) and my husband used to massage my scalp to help me sleep when I was having a very bad time of it. I offer to massage him, because he has pains, but he never wants it.
It's just not a big thing here.

On the contrary, massage is a big part of the culture in the US. 1. "According to the FMI Market report, massage therapy is a $54B industry in the US." 2. "In 2019, the estimated number of massage therapists in the US was 360,823...There are currently 245+ accredited massage therapy institutions in the United States. Many institutions have multiple campuses." 3. As of 2023, the estimated number of licensed massage therapists in the United States is approximately 321,493. A full body massage should not have left you unable to walk, unless the therapist did something that they were not licensed to do, or the therapist wasn't licensed at all.

I think it may be a class thing or relate to a community's means? We got my mom a massage gift certificate when she was over 70 years old and it was her first. I had a facial once but never a professional massage and I'm nearing 50. My generation in my family is starting to do better financially with hard work but pampering is not the norm in my family at least. But neither is paying to get fingernails professionally done. I believe it is common for many other Americans with better standards of living. Note that we earn above my state's median income. Maybe it's also the working class culture such as here in the rust belt?
