Great video reaction brother! Nightwish has such a full sound that is very intense and dramatic! 👏🏼😁 Loved it when you mentioned the artistry and imagery…..remember when MTV and VHI used to have actual music videos? Then it turned into ridiculous commercials and other weirdness that had nothing to do about music, lol! I cannot stomach radio stations most of the time because either the noise that is called music sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me, or they only play 40 songs over and over. I believe that as more things become exposed in our world as we thought we have known it, we will need great music that heals, comforts, and inspires us. What you are doing right now is very good and important, so keep it up! I love seeing you be inspired by music….and life. Remembering to be thankful for breath and existing ….that was FIRE, brother! 👏🏼❤️🤗

To paraphrase Tuomas - It's not against technology or cell-phones - We couldn't have made this video without technology. It's optimistic - especially the last ten seconds with the beautiful forest and sunlight- it's still out there! It's to make people think.

The part of the video of Emppu sitting in front of the Monalisa painting. Then his phone turning red was the interpretation of the beauty we’re not recognizing anymore. You’re correct in recognizing the fact of our timeline of the world. Everything is about the phone and only that! My generation was about riding our bikes around the neighborhood enjoying the finest time of the outdoors. The simplest things in life like the painting is being lost in our youth. Sad times when a band creates a song/ video to depict the failure of our generation today.

This blows your mind.. so much told...so much to comprehend....so much to think about, and such good music
The “noise” which Nightwish talks about in this song is a metaphor for constantly being plugged into the “matrix”. Or a simpler way of putting it is that this song is based on the concept of the modern human dependency on electronic media being a bad thing. don't get me wrong , virtual media is not entirely bad, but to be a slave to it, IS !!!
Floor was the mother with the little girl doing selfies. Tuomas was eco warrior and bathing in oil. Emppu on phone getting stabbed. Kai taking pictures of stabbing, Marko the pill pusher and Troy the king on his throne/toilet.
The blonde model is Jessica Edstrom, an actual internet "influencer". She is pretty big in Europe, and was willing to do this video which pokes fun at the world in which she makes a living. I'd say she's pretty cool for doing this.
The hole Human. :II: Nature. album is basically slap in our face (what we need ), about nature and our role in it. This album is absolutely brilliant !!!!!

Nightwish never do anything less than 110% , I think 'cause Tuomas seems to be somewhat of a perfectionist, so wether it's live or a music video, they put the effort in. This video is another example. Cool stuff

They are better live, but is nice to watch like this too.
Its a powerful social commentary about our problem of getting addicted to our technology, the fakeness of info, and people on the internet, the pitfalls of social media, and acting like a mob. We need balance. Very thought provoking.
Looking forward to spring soon and getting out into the B.C. wilderness for campfire steak cookouts, and fun in the creeks, rivers, and lakes. 😊

The woman sitting in the chair getting botox is the same as the fotomodel in red, but before being transformed to a beautiful diva.
The message of this song is also in the lyrics:

And in the last shot: Outside this madness there is still the real world (fitting the theme of this album: the universe, earth and us)

Yes I am watching this with you. Their clips are always awesome and this message is loud and clear. It's from the latest album Human Nature.
"Have a near life experience, in your loud ego land" "digital fools" That describes the social media addiction pretty well.
It's about modern day society, the narcissism and addiction to Instagram and showing off. Not living real life but living in your digital device. Lip fillers, diet pills, hypocrisy, beauty pressure, narcissistic mothers with a child that just wants to play but mother is getting attention with photo's from her child in a grey surrounding. Than you see the down side and see how unhappy these people are. But we never show that on social media.
It's not against technology or internet, like Tuomas said it brings great things. But the addiction and people living threw screens was pissing him off. People can't see the beauty of their environment anymore, looking in that black screen.

yes I am watching this with you and believe me, I am still speechless because of the message of the video. how many times i watch this music video? Yes, modern technology offers a lot of opportunities, but at the same time it is addictive, creates beliefs that it is not good as it is and that you need this and that. However, how much happier it would be if you really stopped by the world and nature. You would see and experience yourself and not through the screen. This is how I see this video. One more time I'll find out the lyrics of the whole song, now it's so engrossing that I miss the words.
