My daughter (14) and I (41) just learned how to jump in from watching this video! Literally watched video, took it to a curb, and within a handful of tries on our 2ft miniramp we both learned it. Impossible to possible within 20 minutes! Thanks for the helpful tips!!! Much love and respect!! - Dan
Another great tutorial Jon. Just back from my local. And got the dropping in part, wasn't as sketchy as I thought it would be Finding the first part clumsy though. Work in progress.
Many thanks for tuning in, yeah with some tricks I have found I just end up practicing the bail as the trying the whole thing to start with is either to complex, or too scary (usually both lol) I’ve got a bit of a sports and music coaching background so I’m use to the idea of breaking things down. I find it keeps the stoke going if I can achieve little goals along the way?
I am so pumped to give this a try. Another great video! I have been trying to do this by planting the other foot on the coping. I like your idea of starting at the end with the drop-in. Brilliant way to teach this trick! I think I can do this... THANK YOU!
Ethan Dombkowski go for it dude!! Drop me a vid of the make !! It’s not too tricky once you get the confidence to hop in. I can’t wait to practice it more and get it smooth, there are loads of variations to get down and all!!
Joseph Hose BCC ha, bud light went down a treat after this, bit of a battering, but worth it, can’t wait to work on some variations, I like the look of the front foot impossible and the can opener ??! The foot plant to Fakie looks mental !!
been looking for a decent tutorial on this and staple gun....subbed!!! unfortunately I broke my ankle in the bowl last night so I'm out for a while but ur keeping me stoked and my spirits up thanks mate 🙏🙏🤙🤙
Boi hey dude, thanks again for the request, do you have a link you can share please, sorry I’m just unsure as to what that is?? If it’s the Hosoi layback out of a F/S tail slide then I can’t do them. I tried a multitude of times and now my back knee is tweaked from doing this an all lol !!
Hey Dude, many thanks for the question. I put together a video reflecting on 3 months of use. Build A Skate Pool Inspired Mini Ramp Part 2. Three Month Review.
What size shoe are you to have a comfortable feeling with the Anderson flight deck 9.13? I just decided on the 8.45 as I’m more comfortable with this size board while my shoe size is 10. I feel like I could possibly ride 9.13 but it has me thinking I’m on an old school Powell ripper deck.
Your intro is the reason I don't drop into a bowl. :D

Hey Dude
I take a uk 10 (us 11)
I prefer the 9” deck, it is big, but it feels good
Cheers
@@JonBishopSkate hay thanks for the reply Jon. I may end up with both size decks lol.
@@moogish it’s a smart move !!
