I cant wait for the gallery showing of all of these pieces - a dark walkthrough experience with headphones so that guests can hear the stories individually, and can live through the full mosaic of your constructed world. You got my subscription.
Ooh that’s a cool idea!
The caliber of this man's dnd campaign would be to die for!
love the twisted wire technique under the exo skeleton. Lovely world building Gameyy
Thanks Bill!
I know right
He's sending you royalties for every bead used and second of lore during painting right Bill? 😂
I love it. The turtle/snail eyes are great. Nice touch with the slight translucency.
Dude you have to write a book about this. Seriously would be so freaking cool!
“using my signature method of roughly eyeballing it”😂
As always, that attention to detail is unreal. Excited for more world building!
Man.. you make it impossible to comment on your videos. Theres just too much to unpack! I love the lore on this one, love the robot, love the turtle-snail, love the use of air dry clay, love the "fabric" method, love the goods, love the editing and commentary. All in all, I love it!
I love that combination of the two slowest animals for the shy beast🐢🐌
All love how all these channels have cinematic universes
This is best so far mainly because of the map and language so far
Sorry Boylei Hobby Time
yeah! from boylei's wild imaginary west to craftastrophe's craftiverse and to bill's rust world, and now to beyond the blight
I don’t really think studson has one though… although there was a joke in the latest April fool’s episode saying there was a character called “spudson” who was studson’s son.
@@nullstudios2989 no no, what about the centipede horse lore?
the story behind these awsome models should be a movie!!!
Thanks!
I have been looking forward to new episodes since you made all those bamboo sticks one by one. Universe is coming along very nicely! I love it and your work really inspires me to get my butt off the couch and craft something.
Amazing 🤩
Creative vandalism 😂
Midlings!!! (Love this name)
Beyond the Blight is phenomenal love, love, LOVE this series
Glad you enjoy it!
@@gameyybuilds I showed my nephew he jumped around going ‘Snurtle, Snurtle, he made a Snuuurtle!’ 😂
@@carrie4910 Ha, someone suggested that exact name for it on my Patreon page!
It's been a while since I've commented on a video of yours, so I just wanted to say I really like how this world of yours is shaping up! The builds look really good and the lore you've established for them is fun to listen to. Keep making the good stuff!
Thanks a lot Leyton!
"Then, instead of wood - I used wood." *silence*
10/10
law 34 of comedy, sometimes you have to let the joke breathe....
perfectly executed here lolz
6:16 "...or literally a shy beast"
Drawing looks like the creature has a huge open-mouthed smile haha can't be too shy
Love the vids. Subscribed. Keep up the good work
I've watched several of these beyond the blight builds lately, they're quite good, but this is my favorite so far
MAKE MORE, NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!please focus on THIS not anything else!!!!!!!!!gameyy I love beyond the blite to MUCH!!!
its coming out to be very samurai jackish. Super sick.
I love that little guy! The Shy Beast name is super cool but my head will forever call it a "Snurtle"
The droid is giving lots of cool Kenshi vibes too.
In this day and age I can definitely see this world becoming an indie game. Would be amazing to see it become a reality
Every new gameyy biulds video is a gift to humanity
Ha, thanks!
Literally
2 true
The droid have such a good action figure quality in it.
really love how the shy beast looks! the texture on it really brings it to life
You keep on amazing me and my wife with your work. We love your creations. Very creative eye-candy.
Thank you so much 😀
Very cool, Gameyy! I like the way that you use a combination of XPF foam and a cheap frame for the base. Very creative. The final build came out great!
Thanks T-Nu!
This is such a rad concept. Highly enjoying these builds. Your storytelling is rather incredible too. Loving the creativity and imagination attached to physical real world characters.
Another tip to texture XPS foam is to mist water on it and then take a torch to it. Great for stone/rock like textures.
Nice, never heard of that one! Will have to give it a try! Thanks!
Awww, I love the Shy Beast!
This is a fantastic way to go about worldbuilding that I've never considered before, I love this!
Great build, enjoying the whole back story of the world you are creating.
I need a shy beast plushy rn
Oh the lore!Absolutely loving this series, especially the Swamp Walker one.
8:25 ah yes my favorite real life tortoise with pointed protrusions, Bowser
i can feel the Gundam collectors ripping their hair out watching you dismantle vintage Gundam figures.
How the heck did I miss this espiode!! I can't believe I missed the beauty. That's it I'm turning on the bell. I have never done it for any content creator. But your channel is worth it. Thanks for another awesome build. I will probably comment more on it once I actually watch it.
Thanks Brayden! Yeah I got messages from a few viewers saying they didn’t get notified of this. I may make a mention of it in the next video. Thanks for the support and I’m happy you’re picking up some tips along the way!
I love your sense of humor and creativity. And storytelling! Nice job on all of these.
This world gets better and better!
That translucent clay is such a cool effect. I wonder if tinting it with inks would work?
the little story makes these builds a bit more fun to watch. thanks for that👊
Love the legs on this thing. Very cleaver. I like seeing your technique with the milliputty. I recently just started my very first car model. I have never attempted anything like this and watching you helps me learn tips and tricks. Also I just love the theme beyond the blight. Thanks for sharing your imagination.
Still insane that this channel has not blown up yet. It’s AMAZING!
Wow
If this was a show I would totally watch it
I thought I knew/followed all the miniature/crafting /model making guys... And then I just discovered you and I wanted to say I'm really loving your videos. The work is cool, you're fun to listen to, and this Blight world is really fun awesome.!
I have a similar channel myself and I only wish I could be as interesting as you! Keep up the awesome work! 👍🏻
Wow, thanks! Gonna go check out your channel now!
@@gameyybuilds its not this one, it's called Siete Diez y ocho
I also make miniature stuff
is it rude to say your vids help me sleep :D not in a bad way, just a relaxing voice and the builds are amazing :D You should maybe trry and make a bird flying thing?
Keep it up buddy :D
this video was so good! i think it gave me some inspiration to build my own little robo-market
Nice! Happy crafting!
@@gameyybuilds thanks! im already midway through making a robot goods-carrying steed
This is so cool. Insanely creative, really adds so much life to the world. And all the commodities look amazing! Would be great if some of them made reference to other pieces you’ve done in the past, just to really tie things together
Damn it I'm late today lol every addition makes this world more and more interesting, would legit love a movie or videogame set in this universe! Can't wait to see more
What about a tabletop game?
@@gameyybuilds I'm not a huge tabletop game guy but I'm sure it would be amazing regardless. The design of the characters wouldn be perfect for minis
@@gameyybuilds Please
This was mesmerizing to watch! Amazing! I may have to steal the dyed paper towel technique.
Steal away! The only issue with it is that over time gravity will do its thing and straighten the paper out, especially with larger cuts. Smaller pieces like capes for minis should be ok though.
@@gameyybuilds I'll keep that in mind! I normally use 3-4 layers of watered down modpodge in that case (but I never have more than like an inch of cloth).
I can imagine the pejorative directed at the Middlings by the other factions, simply calling them "Meddlings" or "meddlers" out of spite, envy or just plain rudeness. But that could also be founded in the fact that a merchant faction can also be pretty meddlesome, if only for their own benefit. Also, merchants in ye olden days were sometimes spies and informants, so there is precedent.
I love how much thought and effort you're putting into this world and the dioramas!
Beautiful video and build! I love the droid's paint job 👍
Thanks Ben!
your videos have single-handedly inspired me to start creating a world of my own! i am constantly amazed by the creativity and detail of Aegis and i always have new ideas after watching your videos. keep creating!!
Now this makes me think of what the currency in this world is. Sadly, I'm a new viewer so if it is revealed later in the series I have no knowledge. But, either way, I'm excited to keep watching and learn more about beyond the blight. :)
Check out “Remote Services”. The money system is mentioned there.
I love it man, great job on the sculpting an the lore for these fellas
Thanks man!
I am joining you for the first time...Wow, your channel is super cool - love the map and all the details!
Too early and I love it
Great design. I like the cable legs and how you sculpted the shell. Awesome paint work too. Happily subscribed.
Well I’ve only just found this channel and I’m already excited to binge your content
Beautiful build
Thanks!
@@gameyybuilds having now binged the entire set of Behind the Blight builds and some others with my day off, I just wanted to say how inspiring your stuff is.
I would’ve never been able to tell that you don’t have many more months or years of experience with how nice and cohesive your style is becoming for this series.
I’ve been in a bit of a creative rut ever since the passing of Kazuki Takahashi since it was his art that sparked my interest in pursuing creative works way back when I was a kid, and since I’ve only been at this for a few months I became very self critical of my recent builds, but I’m genuinely excited to try some ideas I’ve started sketching inspired by some of your builds
Sorry for the long reply, but I’m really excited to see more, and can’t wait to show your stuff to my friends into similar content
@@singingReaper Wow thanks for the reference, I didn’t know this artist before! Be sure to send me a link to your creations, would love to see what this series inspires other creators to build!
New favorite channel!
Awesome build I love the weird snail eyes on the turtle!
A beautiful creation!
So glad I found your channel. Loving it!!
Thanks!
yeah
I've just discovered your channel and I absolutely love your work. The stories are fun to listen to, and your creations are inspiring. Keep up the good work. I'll keep watching with interest.
lov this scifi world
bro i love this series!
Just found the channel and love the videos, they're really inspiring me for some of my own stuff.
I heard you mention you shop at hobby lobby, you might want to look into them a bit. I try to avoid shopping there due to their pretty dubious activities.
Plus they don't accept other craft store coupons! lol
Truly amazing
I would not worry about your snail turtle being unrealistic. Realism isn't a part of it. But even if you go realism on it I think it would actually still be large enough. Just make it so that the creature's body is mostly boneless beyond the legs and thus can fill up the inside far more than a regular turtle. Hell, if its organs and such are spread out through the body or kept in the upper portion of the shell, it could easily fit everything.
I always thought gundam models seem like they were sporting futuristic bell bottom pants and platform shoes.
😂
Excellent as always. Looking forwards to seeing more
You should team up with Boylei hobby time in something
Super cool!
Love it great creation dude.
Very interesting idea!
This is my favorite of this series.
Awesome! Thanks!
Damn, he gone done built a Snurtle
an idea: take a kinda big frame maybe...A3 size. and create a topoghrafical map of aegis that you can hang up on the wall or something?.... (the world/island)
Very cool
Quickly working my through every video, gonna be sad when i catch up and have to wait for new releases XD. Another banging video, this worldbuilding feels so rich, I’m especially impressed by the language. Surprised you didn’t do a coat of uv resin on the eyes of the shy beast to give it that wet look. Super cool lore with the droid.
You make everything look cool I'm subscribing now
I love this
New subscriber here! Awesome build!
God I love artists
Fabulous
Totally awesome!
Really enjoyed the detail of the goods , you could have gone with something simple but these really added a nice touch to the whole build ^^
Thanks man!
@@gameyybuildsYeah, they are fantastic pieces, its a shame you didn't show their creation as well. On a side note, how did you fix them in place? I can't believe that you just stacked them on/in the DIY display shelves on the (awesome!) snurttle"s back and hoped that gravity would take care of the rest.
@@earlware4322 They are all super glued in place! I edited out their sculpting because the video was already getting so long!
U r a very unique channel and maybe u should make an abandoned city now used as a base or make a military faction to defend against blight mutants cause Dat cool
Also 7:40 build looks weird
The snail turtle gives me Spore flashbacks
Yea
yeah
yeah yeah
@@fail304 Of course
YYEES
I so love the lore you're created, it definitely takes me to your far away universe. As always, you are so very super talented, I just love watching you build beautiful art from bits of this and that. This is by far my favorite build. Spectacular work as always. 👍
Thanks so much for all the support, Mitch! Glad you liked this one!
@@gameyybuilds definitely. 😎
I know it's broken, and know there lots of them, but watching an mg Gundam get torn apart hurts . 😂
Also thanks for the tip on scales. Will help immensely on current buid
Sorry! I feel the same when I have to cut up my old LEGO pieces!
This has inspired me to try and make my own universe
Go for it!
Are the robots sentient? Also I love your work and have been binging your videos
Looks amazing but how did you make that head I’m making a robot and I really want to make that head so how did you do it
Dude. You could show the people at LucasArts a thing or two.
😍
Where are market places located? Do Unders go to the surface to do bussines? Or do Overs go underground? I want to know!!! 😅
Henga Maru (lit. “Dust Bowl”) is a marketplace located in a canyon of the same name at the north of the continent. It’s considered neutral territory since there are cave entrances that lead to the Unders hovels and roads that lead to the nearest Over dwellings to the south. The middlings inhabit the canyons and cliffs, and the air is generally clear and free of fungal spores, making it a good spot for open air gatherings.
(This was originally part of my script but got cut out for time. Hope this answers your questions!)
@@gameyybuilds subscribed! I have some sort of my imaginary world myself. Few drawings but have no talent to put it online. I want to see how yours develop. I wish You some sort of tabletop pnp rpg. Hope You are open for inspirations for heroes/characters/locations. 😮
It would be great to have some representation via some sort of avatar.
Keep up the good work. 👍
@@Buli0n What do you mean about the avatar? An avatar for a game or for viewers of this channel?
Where do you get your music
I would have added cords between the shop boxes and a leech/harness to the turtle mouth/head
Yeah, should’ve done some headgear but it was already going on 5 weeks to finish this…
