- Now that Suppy's diving headfirst into our 13b powered kei truck project, it's time that he gets a refresher course on how these dorito powered things work. So we take a trip over to Redline Performance (where Suppy's brother happens to work) for an info drop from a rotary expert with many, many years of experience. Oh, and Leah Pruett drops in and blesses us with some spent top fuel dragster bits.

Yo people chill. The kei truck was shelved over a year ago and Angelmotorsports has blown up since then. Hoonigan needs content since the channel is so boring between burn yard episodes and John has customers to take care of at his shop.

I met Leah in Arizona, she signed and gave me a connecting rod last year. She is the fkin G.O.A.T. We talked about the roadkill episode and she was super chill and down to earth.

Benjamin Franklyn they swapped the van that fast because that’s what their job was. And because they put it into the back of the van. With the truck they were just hired to build the engine

Which if this was filmed as recent as I think, Vargas was in Houston for Cleetus and Cars. Or they just simply wanted to give another shop some love.

It was super cool the owner from redline had so much knowledge and was willing to walk thru and explain it w/ the guys and not try to be all exclusive and not wanting to share his knowledge bc he feels in some way intimidated like some other mechanics would act

afaik he doesnt work for hoonigan.Hes part of the familys private business Angel Motorsports and has helped hoonigan on projects and also the brothers did that 2nd build and battle.
He's has been helping his brother with all the Florida boys Dorito builds and was at cleetus and cars Houston

For the intake maybe you could have the runners go down slightly then curve up into the plenum (or curve up than down). The piping would like like a question mark rotated 90 degrees. The dot going to the engine, curved part going into the plenum. This will give you some length on the runners without sacrificing space under your seat.
It would be like a mini version of what you find on B series Hondas.

Hey people, 1. The Kei truck was being built for Worthouse drift as their pit truck. 2. Danger Dan was doing all the fab work. 3. Angelmotorsports assembled the engine and were just giving technical advice. 4. The project didn't get finished in time. 5. Suppy is taking over the build now after a year and a ton of things still need to be sorted out.
