When my first daughter was born I did the journaling for her as well. I got this cute book and wrote different things that she did that was adorable or places we went. She is going to be 18 in September and it is one of her favorite things of all time. I really encourage any parent or grandparent to write things down, take pictures, and video. It goes by in the blink of an eye and often times you can't remember. It's so nice to go back and look at how much they have grown and matured.

Loved seeing little Carter and your nightime routine! I have an adult disabled son that can't walk and magnesium tablets helped a lot with the swelling in his foot (foot swelling because he can't move). I recently bought magnesium lotion for his feet as well. I could not get over the difference taking a small amount of magnesium (250 mg tablets) made for him. I will see how the lotion works. Your house looks so pretty! Your yard is divine!

YES! the livingroom was the playroom for us for years but I eventually took it back and we now have a strict toys are only in her room policy and the home looks so much tidier when company comes

I have a Dyson as well, I have the slimvac and the vacuum. I absolutely love mine. they are incredible. The slimvac hasn't lost any suction and I've had it for 5 years now! I don't have the new V8 model, but I know how well made they are, so I guarantee it's wonderful!
