People keep saying that they’re looking for Hades for help, but I wonder if they’re looking for Auron. How sick would it be if Donald and goofy are traveling the worlds picking up the ultimate Final Fantasy dream party?
I can already tell by how sora looks and the world he's in that this is gonna be a huge leap forward in what kingdom hearts can be and I can't wait to see it all unfold.
So, first watch I thought Donald and Goofy were in underworld looking for Hades, but seeing their fear once they knew it was him means they probably tried to avoid him. So it has to be them looking for someone who died already for help? Auron or other FF characters to tie in?

I’m honestly a fan of the redesign. Sora is getting older which warrants a sleeker, less eccentric style I think. Although I do hope his goofy personality still shines through ✨
I don't think he's actually older it's more just the more realistic style, saying stralitsia (I can't spell sorry) says it's only been 7 days since he actually came to this world and the fact that she's not aged at all it might be that they can't age in this world which makes sense if this is where MoM went to bunker down.

it looks like the game is focusing on death as one of its major themes, so it being Kingdom Hearts **IV** specifically makes perfect sense, considering cultural associations between the number 4 and death. I'm excited for Sora to further grapple with the concept of mortality.

Learned my lesson from the KH3 trailers which revealed too much imo. Outside of this, I'm not watching any more trailers for KH 4. I feel going in blind will give me better enjoyment because KH3 didn't live up to the hype for me. Barefeat Sora tho.
In my end, unfortunately because of how KH3 ended up, I'll just wait for it to come out + reviews since KH3 was a total disappointment and waste of potential imo. I'll remain slightly optimistic because it's one of my favorite franchises, but KH3 was an overwhelming letdown for what it was building up for years, so I'll take the patience approach now
A couple important things to note: The Strelitzia in this trailer is most likely NOT the original Streliztia who was killed by Darkness. At the end of Union X, we saw the Master of Masters take what looked to be a clone of Strelitzia (created from the data copy of her in the data-Daybreak Town) and brought her into the future using the ark. This Strelitzia is almost certainly THAT Strelitzia, and the original one is still dead. Second, in the command menu, the bottom option is something called "Build," and we have a new EX bar in place of the Focus gauge.
I would sooner assume that it’s a replica body for her original heart to inhabit. If hades is truly involved with getting Donald and Goofy to Tokyo, it seems death is a requirement to get to the real world.
...absolutely none of that is confirmed, and some of it is outright false. We do see a figure in a black cloak with the Data Strelitzia, however: -the characters in the game outright state that they don't know if that figure was the MoM or Luxu, as both wear black cloaks. Who it was is not revealed to us -Luxu was the one who sent whoever the True Dandelion was through the lifeboat to the future, if the MoM sent anyone, we did not see it and were not told about it -the lifeboats are only capable of sending HEARTS to the future, so unless Data Strelitzia had a heart of her own, she wouldn't be able to be sent to the future with it. We have no reason to believe that Data Strelitzia had a heart at this time So, personally, I think the one we see in this trailer most likely is the real Strelitzia (note that she also says that this place is like an "afterworld," which only makes sense if she was in some state of death), and the True Dandelion is a real person who has Strelitzia's data hidden in their heart much like Ansem the Wise hid data in Sora's heart, which could eventually be used to find her and/or make a Replica for her or something

There are a bunch of different variations of "death" in the KH franchise, but true death is only when a person's heart and body expire. People who die go directly to join with Kingdom Hearts, with only a potential pit stop at the Final World along the way. What happened to Sora, the Master of Masters, and Strelitzia, is different, but we don't have a good understanding of HOW it's different yet. All we know is that Sora got here by abusing the power of waking, the details of which is something that was never explained in KH3. We have no idea how MoM and Strelitzia got there. The atmosphere, the sense of mystery, the FEEL, the interconnected World stories of KH1 brought back again... If this comes to be...

i've seen someone else push the idea but in the nature shot at 0:55 here you can see something that looks vaguely like an AT-ST foot, you can even see the square "joint" thing that you can see on the official design.
I see Nomura is going hard for his Versus XIII ideas - which I like. I noticed the design and concepts are much darker this time around, as if KH is "growing up" so to speak. Hopefully PS5 will be available when the game comes out. Also, it was nice to see Strelitzia again. However, can't say I'm thrilled about mobile game(s)... It's Nier ReIncarnation all over again. I understand mobile games are popular in Japan, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. The future of KH looks promising at least. Curious to see what new trailers will bring. I think KH4's visuals can compete with Horizon Forbidden West, I mean DAMN 6:28 Reminds me of Dark Lance in Nier Replicant

Seeing the KH characters in a realistic, modern urban environment is just so jarring and I’m not sure I like it. But it looks so different that I will say I’m intrigued.
My theory for kh4 is the first part could be tutorial thru 1st half, you play as one or many of the other guardians attempting to find sora, and then just like kh2 get a whole adventure as sora, with the ability to shuffle.through sora and the guardian you used on the first visit

Notice how they announced it was in development. I wouldn't expect this game until 2025 at the earliest. JP studios (and particularly Square) have a tendency to announce games when they begin working on them instead of working on it in secret and then announcing it a couple years before its release. We saw this with KH3, FFXV, FFVIIR, Breath of the Wild, Metroid 4, Elden Ring, and the list goes on.
Yea but this is on the same engine as the last I agree that it won’t be till 2025 but I don’t think they’ll be having issues regarding engine development like they have with some of the games on the list

I mean it’s not been announced as Kingdom Hearts 4 right- just Kingdom Hearts IV. Hades makes sense there at the end. Besides the blue fire, he did have a connection with the REAL Auron from FFX in KH2 so maybe he has some sort of power that connects reality to unreality
Ok so I looked up at Twitter and read various articles and there were many interesting info like at the start of the event Nomura said that 'He was confused whether to make Verum rex or KH4' so he instead decided to go for KH4 cause he along with fans were worried about sora and we are all anticipating that new saga so from what I can gather: Yes, Quadratum was a world from verum rex and it was realistic looking, no doubt about that but in that toy box world that trailer displayed completely new characters, and it was clearing teasing FF versus 13 related stuff and so we all thought it was a Easter egg and nothing more and nothing less but now from this comment I can say that after KH4 Nomura is gonna make a sub/side franchise which is 'Verum Rex' and if not that then most probably another spin off game but imo it all points verum rex becoming it's own franchise. And since nomura stepped down from director from FF7 remake due to 'unprecedented amounts of projects' tells me that alongside with KH4 he's working on another game or two but we'll see and other than that I am really excited for the future of Kingdom hearts!!

Ok so first off the trailer was just hype!!! and after reading some twitter posts and analysing some stuff I realised that about 2 years ago there was a leak more specifically a square enix leak where it had a bunch of games with some side info like release date and engine it'll be using and stuff and at the time it said 'Unreal engine 5' and we didn't believe it and so after a couple of months it got reveled and then we realised that holy shit it might just be real and specifically speaking of kingdom hearts it has 2 projects: 'PROJECT OATH; in unreal engine 4' and 'Untitled project; in unreal engine 5' and fast-forward to now we got a nvidia leak too about kingdom hearts 4 and so after processing all this info I am speculating that Project oath might be KH4 and according to the lastest tweet they were initially using UE4 and now they are moving it to UE5 so I think that's one thing that checks out and now as for the other title I have no idea and as for my personal wishful opinion I think it would be Verum rex and also according to a tweet (KH20th and aibo and many others) Nomura did say in the event that he was not sure whether to make 'KH4 or verum rex' so he decided to make KH4 cause he thought that people would like to know what's up with sora after the cliffhanger from remind and stuff. So ig verum rex whether a standalone sub/side franchise or a spin off game is not out of the realm of possibility but it'll be quite a while before we see anything or maybe it's in production already but we'll see but regardless dude I am so hyped for the future of KH!!!

Sora got really long feet, maybe he's actually like a size 10? (UK size) But man I'm hyped but I'm probably not going to be able to play it as I don't have any of the new consoles. I'm looking forward to missing link because I can play that at least which is why I personally like mobile games.
I'm honestly not sure if that is Sora. He looks and moves quite a bit like Sora (plus the crown necklace, the Kingdom Key, and the crown-shaped situation sigil. However, his clothes and hair are different (while he has changed clothes a few times with new games, he's always started the game with a previous game's outfit, whereas this is him starting out with new duds, and these are similar to what he already has but noticeably different-plus, this guy isn't wearing gloves, which Sora has always worn; also, those are normal-sized shoes), and his face is definitely different (younger, maybe?) (although he does have the angry look down). This could be another similar-but-different character tied to Sora akin to Roxas. We'll have to wait and see. But in the meantime, STRELITZIA!!!!

Seeing the KH characters in a realistic, modern urban environment is just so jarring and I’m not sure I like it. But it looks so different that I will say I’m intrigued.

My theory for kh4 is the first part could be tutorial thru 1st half, you play as one or many of the other guardians attempting to find sora, and then just like kh2 get a whole adventure as sora, with the ability to shuffle.through sora and the guardian you used on the first visit

Kh1 had OG disney worlds, Kh2 had more OG disney worlds, Kh3 had Pixar Worlds. Kh4 shall have other newer disney ips such as star wars and marvel.

Notice how they announced it was in development. I wouldn't expect this game until 2025 at the earliest. JP studios (and particularly Square) have a tendency to announce games when they begin working on them instead of working on it in secret and then announcing it a couple years before its release. We saw this with KH3, FFXV, FFVIIR, Breath of the Wild, Metroid 4, Elden Ring, and the list goes on.

maybe other characters are going to travel with donald and goofy this time around and you'll flip between sora/riku in quadratum and some other people with donald and goofy in disney worlds

Thanks for staying up so I don’t have to- definitely excited to see where this series goes! However after all the messing around between 2 and 3 I feel like Nomura could be messing with us…. Again. I mean it’s not been announced as Kingdom Hearts 4 right- just Kingdom Hearts IV. Now our first assumption is that the IV means 4 but it’s the kind of thing Nomura would do to get people hyped (Like KH 3….D) I’m calling it now that the IV means In Verum not 4. I’m not complaining if that’s the case just something I reckon Nomura would pull

Hades makes sense there at the end. Besides the blue fire, he did have a connection with the REAL Auron from FFX in KH2 so maybe he has some sort of power that connects reality to unreality

Ok so I looked up at Twitter and read various articles and there were many interesting info like at the start of the event Nomura said that 'He was confused whether to make Verum rex or KH4' so he instead decided to go for KH4 cause he along with fans were worried about sora and we are all anticipating that new saga so from what I can gather: Yes, Quadratum was a world from verum rex and it was realistic looking, no doubt about that but in that toy box world that trailer displayed completely new characters, and it was clearing teasing FF versus 13 related stuff and so we all thought it was a Easter egg and nothing more and nothing less but now from this comment I can say that after KH4 Nomura is gonna make a sub/side franchise which is 'Verum Rex' and if not that then most probably another spin off game but imo it all points verum rex becoming it's own franchise.
And since nomura stepped down from director from FF7 remake due to 'unprecedented amounts of projects' tells me that alongside with KH4 he's working on another game or two but we'll see and other than that I am really excited for the future of Kingdom hearts!!

Ok so first off the trailer was just hype!!! and after reading some twitter posts and analysing some stuff I realised that about 2 years ago there was a leak more specifically a square enix leak where it had a bunch of games with some side info like release date and engine it'll be using and stuff and at the time it said 'Unreal engine 5' and we didn't believe it and so after a couple of months it got reveled and then we realised that holy shit it might just be real and specifically speaking of kingdom hearts it has 2 projects: 'PROJECT OATH; in unreal engine 4' and 'Untitled project; in unreal engine 5' and fast-forward to now we got a nvidia leak too about kingdom hearts 4 and so after processing all this info I am speculating that Project oath might be KH4 and according to the lastest tweet they were initially using UE4 and now they are moving it to UE5 so I think that's one thing that checks out and now as for the other title I have no idea and as for my personal wishful opinion I think it would be Verum rex and also according to a tweet (KH20th and aibo and many others) Nomura did say in the event that he was not sure whether to make 'KH4 or verum rex' so he decided to make KH4 cause he thought that people would like to know what's up with sora after the cliffhanger from remind and stuff.
So ig verum rex whether a standalone sub/side franchise or a spin off game is not out of the realm of possibility but it'll be quite a while before we see anything or maybe it's in production already but we'll see but regardless dude I am so hyped for the future of KH!!!

I'm honestly not sure if that is Sora. He looks and moves quite a bit like Sora (plus the crown necklace, the Kingdom Key, and the crown-shaped situation sigil. However, his clothes and hair are different (while he has changed clothes a few times with new games, he's always started the game with a previous game's outfit, whereas this is him starting out with new duds, and these are similar to what he already has but noticeably different-plus, this guy isn't wearing gloves, which Sora has always worn; also, those are normal-sized shoes), and his face is definitely different (younger, maybe?) (although he does have the angry look down). This could be another similar-but-different character tied to Sora akin to Roxas. We'll have to wait and see.
But in the meantime, STRELITZIA!!!!
