They gave Sora VANS! Also, if Sora's been chilling in the high life, you think he's been doing this for a while now? Just killing kaiju-sized heartless and whatnot as his way of paying for his apartment? Also our lovely little lady deadass had to buy Sora's new fit in a shopping spree with him - there's no way she let him choose a thing outside of colors or style because he got goofy clown shoes.

Considering Strelitzia has been there for much longer than Sora has and she still looks the way she does, I think this is Nomura’s way of allowing Sora to live forever, as a dead man cut off from the universe he came from
@@Rodolphin I don’t think time moves any different for anyone in Quadratum, its not like the Realm of Darkness and it’s more like ours, apparently Sora’s been dead for two whole years after KH3 but he also may have only just arrived a week ago for reasons we don’t know yet, if anything, the fact that Quadratum is what Strelitzia considers an “afterworld” for the two of them but a normal place for everyone else otherwise, it just looks like the reason they haven’t aged is because they’re currently in “dead form” lol
@@kenzieroots347 That much is confirmed yes, however im hearing conflicting info from different sources saying that the trailer takes place another year after Limit Cut and that Sora is still 16 at the point in the trailer, I’d prefer the former since it would mean that Kairi would have at least an additional valuable year of training under Aqua but otherwise it’s still kinda ambiguous however much time will pass
42:30 I like to think Nomura's storyboard room is the wall of pages and pictures with red string attached all around but it doesn't stay near the walls, the red string goes off to other parts of the room. The string was never cut, it's just an entire 5 mile long yarnball he every once and a while untangles to add more. But in reality he is definitely just ironing out what he planned to happen since day one. The entire first game was turning into 1-3 (sora was meant to disappear in the first iteration of KH1), so Nomura likely already had 3 games of story in mind that will be 1-9 with all the in between games he comes up with midway through production to flesh out concepts people aren't understanding first time around or he didn't get to answer because of time and hardwear. I would know because I'm that kind of writer (like to call it a spider web way of writing, where every concept needs a purpose and that purpose connects to other concepts till it's a fleshed out reality)
And now that I think about it, Nomura likely was going to make the first game primarily Disney design with the second game (which is now the second saga) be primarily Final Fantasy design.
He did say he makes those quotes shown in the first secret ending as he goes, and then finds places to put them so I doubt he planned everything in detail. On the other hand, the concept of Sora disappearing into a world of an endless sea at night was used in that secret ending, along with a nighttime city where masters clash.
Or he could be a George RR Martin type writer where he considers himself a “gardener” writer, where you plant the seeds of the story and then you adapt to your story as the characters grow and change. Not as rigid and you can make changes to your original plan.
@@diskeyesprobably the mix of planting the seed of story and dangling spiderweb story type of writer, as long he doesn't get too carried away and he's given enough time.
Since Quadratum is technically the afterlife, I wonder if we'll see Final Fantasy characters who canonically died just casually living there 🤔🤔 (also low-key hoping for a neo:twewy tie in 🤞🤞)
Fun Fact: In Japan Kaiju damage is protected with any full coverage insurance plan along with giant mech battles and demon invansions under the Shounen Event clause.
My problem with the trailer is that Sora being barefoot means one of two things: 1. Strelitzia took off Sora’s socks as well as his shoes or 2. Sora has been going commando and rawdogging those clown shoes for 20 years. Both scenarios scare me greatly. Edit: 12:00 Looks like I’m not the only one with this concern
I wouldn’t think too deeply about it. I take off my socks in my sleep sometimes when it gets too hot. Who’s to say Sora didn’t do something similar? Plus Roxas waking up barefoot in kh2 even though he wasn’t when he was put in the simulation, yada yada yada…
@@raze2012_ Thing is, if Quadratum is an afterlife then Zack is most likely there since the credits to BBS imply that Sephiroth killed him... meanwhile people are theorising that Cloud and Sephiroth ended up in Quadratum after KH2 soooo... Sephiroth could end up killing him again. Actually, that brings up the question; what happens to people like Strelitzia and Sora when they die in Quadratum?
It's very refreshing hearing your thoughts and explanations of things, because you are rational about it and understand development processes. Every idiot out there yelling "coming in 10 years" has zero brain cells going spare and fail to consider how things are different this time.
I love Kingdom Hearts a lot, but anytime I hear "yeah the games sometimes have convoluted lore dumps" my mind no longer goes to "yeah but it's still really interesting and unique!", it goes to "iS tHiS tHe SiGiL???"
Like the Organization's sigil? Because that's the most out of left field thing I think KH3 gave us. "Oh yeah, remember this weird X that got thrown into our names? Well instead of just being a stylistic choice, it's an actual Thing(TM) that was given to us and is definitely the thing that defines our friendship, despite none of us every talking about it."
I mean, they said it as much in the cutscene itself that it was more of a "one last screw you to Xemnas" than anything else, considering upon Xemnas's defeat it would be given back anyway. It's buried in there, it definitely could have used a dialogue rewrite, but the basis is sound enough.
If it looks this good in U4, I can't even imagine what it will be in U5... I've used U4 and U5 and that engine is INSANE with the power it holds to render.
I really want some OLDER disney worlds. The nostalgia of those decades old movies really adds something special. I would really love Robin Hood. Soras design would be a woodland animal, and the setting would be water color pretty medieval England. Would love it
So I don't know if Buns proposes this in the vid as I'm typing this but what if the "lost master" in "the lost master arc" is actually referring to Master Ava? As she's the only one we haven't seen in the present.
@@johnpantag472 Really? Hmm well I still think it could work though like sort of a bait and switch plus Ava could be considered a "lost master" also, pretty much all the foretellers could be called "lost masters" really it just depends on which one is most important.
@@nathanblackburn1193 it depends with how you take it. Because mom left years before the keyblade war and disappeared. Also it's not ava. I don't think ava is a guy.
I'm glad with the direction and look they're taking. People gotta understand that Kh is 20 and it's needed to mature a bit. Plus having been literally told to us this where we were going by the game itself
It would be cool to see Aerith in this world (not the Kingdom Hearts Aerith, THE Aerith Gainsbourgh from OG FF 7), along with other characters that have died in Square Enix games. I also think Master of Masters will be a cool villain, being voiced by Ray Chase (Noctis's VA from FF XV).
Totally agree on the reception of developing games at square. I’m so tired of people taking jokes as literal and using it against the series and company. It was a moment in the mid to late 2000s and they have learned from that. Other than all of that, I’m really excited for KH4! I love how many of my predictions are coming true so far. This new direction and potentially being the KH2 of this time. Let’s get it!
They definitely learned from it but it was more like mid 2000s to late 10s if we're being honest. I think KH4 might be sooner than people think though, my guess is early to mid 2024
@@orichalcum_plus are you sure man? Squares track record for game release has been.... Mediocre at best where the game just stuck in development hell for more then half a decade
@@rayq4235 Name a recent Square game that's been stuck in Dev Hell for over half a decade that isn't KH3 or VersusXIII/XV. FF7R was just five years because of a dev switch from CyberConnect2 to in-house. Also now that Sora is no longer sitting on the throne, Kairi sits in it now as of Melody of Memory, if Sora never makes it back home then Kairi is in prime position to become the new main character, at least for the more traditional side of the KH universe while Sora can be the main character traversing like the more technically Disney-owned universes like Star Wars or Marvel rather than disney original universes lol
Maybe Kairi tries to help Donald and Goofy find a way to get Sora back to their reality while Riku looks for him in Quadratum since he was already shown there in that epilogue cutscene
@@Ammy-q4w That’d be fun, hopefully we get variable parties with fun character interactions in the original universe side like Ventus and Vanitas, or Riku and Roxas butting heads while searching for Sora lol
I hope they have more side quests in KH4. I love exploring all the worlds and collecting but KH3 didn’t have many extras. Also, chocobos. I dunno how but please cram them in there! It could have 10 hours of chocobo Hot and Cold from FF9 and I would be in heaven 😍😍😍
People excited to see Sora fight Darth Vader, while I'm sitting here just wishing to hear Obi-Wan or Yoda say The Force is strong with Sora and his friends.
Seeing Sterlizia gives me hope that vanitas might appear in kh4. Tbh I like the idea of vanitas getting a character arc while stuck with a person he looks like and a person he killed.
I think the thing for me that sells the point that this is still gonna have those goofy (pun intended), cartoony and fantasy elements is that massive fuck off drill that Sora summons. Not only does it not really fit in with the realistic look of everything else… I mean, just look at it.
I want to let you know that the "Bring the FFXV boys along as miniature fairy versions like the YRP girls in KH2" concept has my full support and backing.
I loved this and am excited to see what happens but I’m still way more interested in what’s happening on the Disney side. Riku, Terra, Aqua, Roxas, and Xigba- oh my bad wrong people. The FORETELLERS are still schmuckin around and I wanna see what the trios do about it.
I played the entire series for the first time, in order, during the first lockdown. Love it, but the story is still confusing as hell. Even with this new saga stuff, its still so hard wired into Union X etc. Hope Square provide some kinda animated movie or something that newcomers can watch just before KH4's release to get caught up - no other games or platforms required.
This makes it more like a manga/Anime and becaus we go in now with this is an arc and kh 4 is the officiel start but the union cross arc is part of this and the dark seeker arc but i also asume its part if the True darkness arc
Did you play it in order of release or in chronological order? If you play it in chronological order the story isn't really that hard to follow until Dream Drop Distance when they introduce time travel. That's the point you'll just have to pay real close attention.
Union x makes the story more convoluted indeed, but the rest of the games are not really that hard to follow tbh. Make sure to read the secret reports.
So I still think it'll be 2026, but hey if it's sooner and still well made, I'll be plenty happy. But even if it takes another 6 years, we survived to experience KH3, I think it was worth it, so how long it takes to release doesn't matter much to me. Being a lifelong fan has taught me patience, and I'm here for the ride.
Time to bust out the string for the cork board. Need to catch up on THE LORE, but I’m excited to try Missing Link. Wasn’t expecting IV so soon, but am beyond ecstatic. We still have so many questions worth answering: Who are Demyx’s and Luxord’s somebodies? Who is MOM? Will we ever see Sora’s Mom again? WHAT’S IN THE BOX?! Always excited, and hope to see Treasure Planet, Atlantis, Moana, Coco and Turning Red worlds.
You know, when you really think about it... Afterlife is probably the most fictional world there is that's made its first appearance since humans first wondered what happens after death. But I will say, Quadratum is most likely going to be the Traverse Town of 4 with a "Kingdom Hearts" mix, the world that all souls go when people die before heading to a new world. Except, the keyblade will be the cheat sheet to return to Quadratum without dying. (unless they want to rogue lite this game)
It's morbidly funny how the real world is the afterlife of the KH-multiverse. Like, hey you like living in a world full of magic and adventures? Well, bad news, when you die, you'll go to a world without magic where you have to work 48+ hours a week for 40+ years and pay numerous bills just to exist... Jeez, no wonder nobody wants to remain dead 😂
I don't think it's necessarily **THE** afterworld, since The Final World is the world of the dead after all. I just think that this is *like* an afterworld for Sora and Strelitzia, since both of their deaths and the moments surrounding them are quite special and outside the norm. Strelitzia was probably sent with Union's Arc after being recreated in data form, and Sora messed so much with the space-time continuum and reality as a whole that The Final World didn't cut it anymore
@@WD_Gaster66 The Final World isn't the world of the dead. It's Purgatory, as it wss mentioned that strong hearts go there before moving on to another world. Quadratum could be one type of hell/heaven for the KH-multiverse characters.
"If this isn't the ending you desired- if it brings you despair- then leave this world for another your options are endless" Translation: We get it. Not all of you liked KH3's ending.
I am so pumped and ready to watch and hear any KH4 theory you may have! Your always super informative about the series and I can't wait for the future! :D
Oh man if that Star Wars section actually is Star Wars, I kinda hope the Gummi Ship shows up there somehow. Just to see that goofy thing juxtaposed next to the other ships.
Another reason to expect Star Wars is the music itself. It's amazing how the instrumentals slowly change to the stuff Star Wars themes are known to use. By the time the title card shows up, I swear the music is on the verge of doing the opening theme.
I did not just start crying while doing laundry when Buns mention abt Ventus smiling in DDD😭 Anyways, i am excited for the next game!!! Need to start collect that moneys
I really hope that maybe with this being more realistic style-wise, similar to newer FF games, it could mean that we actually visit some FF worlds. Maybe while the trios and Donald and Goofy are going through Disney worlds looking for him, Sora (and Riku since we know he goes to Quadratum sometime) is going through FF worlds trying to get home?
I know this is an old reaction and I’ve seen this before many times, but just love hearing you talk. You have a very easy voice to listen to, idk why but maybe it’s your charismatic personality. Happy New Years Buns!
That's true though ever since the trailer came out I've been seeing a lot of negative reviews and thoughts about it, why can't we just be happy that they're making another Kingdom hearts game?!
I hope that forest part is the forest moon of Endor from Star Wars. I mean I'll be okay if it's the forests of Harajuku but I HOPE it's a hint for Star Wars.
Star Wars would be perfect for Kingdom Hearts 4 because of the themes of light vs dark that both Star Wars and Kingdom Hearts have, and Kingdom Hearts already has pretty good space travel as seen in Kingdom Hearts 3, so they could merge the the two together easily. Also, imagine Sora with a lightsaber keyblade. He could help Luke fight Darth Vader and the Emperor in the Return of the Jedi. The plot writes itself, and it would be interesting to see what kind of effect Darth Vader's redemption has on Sora since it is somewhat similar to what Riku and Lea went through, but he actually ends up dying unlike them.
Its like Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 ending where Edward vanishes to the other side of the door and is transported to a reallistic world where the people that died in Alchemist world are reborn in that world.
I appreciate this video primarily because you're making an effort to approach this from a very civil perspective despite your own excitement. A lot of what you said about dev cycles needed to be heard, and will need to be said again and again, because new people are exposed to the rancid nature of internet culture everyday(with Twitter as its grand fortress of depravity). Looking forward to new games in the series. KH3 set up some incredibly interesting things and we're finally past the point of splitting stories and characters across 5 separate games being pumped out every year or so. The ideas are more cohesive. There's some focus here. I hope it works out for them.
I feel like the "Have fun playing it in 2050" kinda stuff just comes from more casual fans and people outside the KH fanbase looking at the time between the release of KH2 and 3, as well as from the time it took for 3 to release after the announcement. They probably don't count the non-numbered releases as actual important KH games and just consider 1, 2 and 3 as the "real" KH releases. I mean, I was kinda like that as well until I actually decided to try the games out and got the collection on PS4 in early 2018. I was suddenly like "Oh, these side games are actually VERY important. Huh..."
I think it comes from those folks as well as legit fans who are trying to keep up their defenses. I never announced it to anyone else, but internally I started feeling that way about KH3. I'd play my remixes and pretend that's all there would ever be, just because it kinda hurt to keep waiting for this thing I really wanted to happen. It wasn't until I got to play a demo at an event in Downtown Disney that I accepted the game was really going to come out, and I definitely didn't cry on the drive back home. I know with this game it's should be out in a shorter amount of time due to the fact that Square knows Unreal and has the technical foundation. But yeah anyone who shouts it won't be out til (insert time here) are to be ignored on the whole.
melody of memory was a spin-off and KH spin-offs are kinda known to take less time to come out then actual numbered entries, so the lack of jokes for that one make sense. Took a while for numbered entries to actually come out with this series, that’s a clear trend so the jokes with KH4 also make sense
THANK YOU! Yeah, we've heard these long development "jokes" (hard to call them that, really) for so god damn long. Maybe got a little chuckle for like the first week? But oh my god, stuff like that has become such an annoying echo chamber with very little to no research. It's not constructive or impactful, it's just agitating. Also you killed my with the soundboard. xD
I’m glad you addressed the whole several years development thing with actual explanation about game development works because it very much is commentary that occurs with ignorance
Anyone saying this game looks ugly should he clowned on. The game could be using 8K quality and people would STILL find a way to complain over absolutely nothing.
Just the announcement alone for Kh4 was an awesome start to my birthday week but WE HAVE FOOTAGE and it makes it feel that much sweeter and feel so much more real
For me these are the worlds I want for KH4: -Treasure Plant -Atlantis Brave or Coco would just be fan serves for me at that point. As for summons: -Winnie the pooh (Mostly because I think it would be neat to connect to Pooh wanting to see Sora again, and he can through the summons with all the other Pooh friends.) -Baymax -Robin Hood (I might want more then that, but my brain is fried at the moment so keeping it simple.) Now as for other series character I want to see? Now this is going to be crazy and a lot to explain, but I want to share it: I want Tidus and Yuna to see each other, and doing a bit of the storyline to ff10 to connect to the life and death themes of that game, and how they might be in this one. Cause I like 10 a lot. I'm a dork. I want the Rappers from the first TWEWY game to just be boss fights. I want to fight them so badly, and fighting them by name in the DDD game was just a huge cop out to me. Sion from the bouncer. I would like it if these character are doing something in a city, which is there own thing, and there stories are crossing with out meeting each other, until you visit the world a third time. People after Sion mistake Sora for him, and Sion is fighting heartless, and wondering what the heck is going on. Only once they meet they are like, "So you are the guy I am getting mistaken for!" I don't know I just think it would be very funny. And I thought about this deeper then I should. But it all leads to a side quest of sora going into space like in the end of the Bouncer game, and it's a secret boss you face. Don't know who the secret boss should be, but it would be cool if sora dose a fight in space with out the gummy ship. Last one is a bit of just fan serves for me cause I think it would be a neat idea. Sora meeting the warrior of light, and him saying, "So you are a warrior of light too? I can tell." I will fan boy so hard if this happens you have no idea. (Honestly doesn't need to be in kh4, but any future game later down the line.) But my god your ideas where way better. I want to see the ff15 boys in a barbie car now. I want this to happen so badly!
they should either: - port Union X story in Missing Link - Make a FULL "X: Back Cover"-style film depicting the actual story of Union X (not just the foreteller stuff from the first half) and Dark Road
The comment Im tired off is when people who only have a surface look at Kingdom Hearts want to press their opinion on how KH4 shouldnt exist bc KH3 was the ending of KH. Then they get mad when you tell them they are wrong and there is a lot of things left up in the air. I made the mistake of engaging on that opinion for a little bit after telling them I wasnt going to humor the conversation more than I already did (which was telling then there are lose things in the air) and he got mad and didnt even read what I said and thought I was telling him off Which Nice
To be honest, the story jumped the shark so heavily prior to 3 that I just went in for the gameplay. I enjoyed that aspect of the game (especially being able to turn off the attractions, as I felt they really took away from the combat overall), and the worlds were all well put together. So for me, KH4 being essentially a do over with the plot no longer hinging on Xehanort's time travel shenanigans (and the need to somehow write themselves out of that corner), this game is pretty hype for me. It has the potential to be a reboot without being a full on reboot, and maybe they can get things back on the rails a bit.
I feel like with Dark Road ending this Fall, we might get ourselves Backcover-like movies made for the overall plot of the mobile game stories, which should greatly ease in people wanting to get into Part 2 into the important characters like Strelitzia. This I feel is probably the most important step to take before releasing KH4.
It’s been days since i saw the trIler and i still can’t believe this… it’s so bizare seeing that 4 and omg it will come in our lifetime? Yas please. So many thoughts, emotions and theories! Truly magic in the making
Your videos are soooo well done. Thank you for sharing all this info and your thoughts. Very excited for this game and really intrigued about what worlds we will see. I have a feeling we could be seeing more live action disney projects (Star Wars, maybe Marvel, pirates, maleficent, Mary Poppins, etc) along with some more animated like the ones you and chat listed. I just wouldn’t be shocked that with this new engine they’d want to take advantage of more live action projects.
Why are people surprised that this is Kingdom Hearts "4"? Four is the number of Death in Japan. Sora is *technically* dead right now. I honestly can't think of a better game in the franchise than this one to be the official *FOURTH* numbered installment.
Just watched a theory video about the box and really loved the concept. It's got the data Daybreak Town in it, bc MoM had a comment (paraphrasing) that the leaders and children from the war could be saved...so theory is he's going to use the data copies of everyone - foretellers, the children, etc - to recreate these people in the real world after Darkness is defeated
It was only a matter of time before this came out. I checked this channel the day it was revealed thinking “if anyone’s reviewed it yet, it would have to be them”. I was shocked to see that wasn’t the case but, Lo and behold here it is.
I want so much to believe that it'll come out in 2024, I've just had to wait so long for so many of the games I highly anticipate that it doesn't feel like it'll happen that early. With practically no news on Silksong, and another recent delay on BotW 2, I just have my fingers crossed that you're right
Now yes, Moving from UE4 to 5 is magnitudes easier than totally switching engines, but for larger(AAA scale) projects it's not crazy for it to take over a month.
There is a star wars reference in the KH4 trailer. the scene just before the close up of the mushroom, if you look to the top left you'll see one of the star wars vehicles sitting there

@@Rodolphin I don’t think time moves any different for anyone in Quadratum, its not like the Realm of Darkness and it’s more like ours, apparently Sora’s been dead for two whole years after KH3 but he also may have only just arrived a week ago for reasons we don’t know yet,
if anything, the fact that Quadratum is what Strelitzia considers an “afterworld” for the two of them but a normal place for everyone else otherwise, it just looks like the reason they haven’t aged is because they’re currently in “dead form” lol
@@dannythekhexpert6468 just one year. Limit cut/secret episode takes place a year after remind
@@kenzieroots347 That much is confirmed yes, however im hearing conflicting info from different sources saying that the trailer takes place another year after Limit Cut and that Sora is still 16 at the point in the trailer,
I’d prefer the former since it would mean that Kairi would have at least an additional valuable year of training under Aqua but otherwise it’s still kinda ambiguous however much time will pass
It’s just the Pepe Silvia bit irl
This is a great video! Thank you for uploading your news streams and being so informative
Since Quadratum is technically the afterlife, I wonder if we'll see Final Fantasy characters who canonically died just casually living there 🤔🤔 (also low-key hoping for a neo:twewy tie in 🤞🤞)
So... possibly (hopefully) Zack?
Omg, Neo: twewy would be freakin' awesome!!!
You mean we could see Haurchefant?!
Maybe Auron is there.
Imagine it's just a world filled with fallen keybladers. Eraqus and Xehanort come around the corner, hanging out playing chess.
Fun Fact: In Japan Kaiju damage is protected with any full coverage insurance plan along with giant mech battles and demon invansions under the Shounen Event clause.
A-…are you serious?
My problem with the trailer is that Sora being barefoot means one of two things: 1. Strelitzia took off Sora’s socks as well as his shoes or 2. Sora has been going commando and rawdogging those clown shoes for 20 years. Both scenarios scare me greatly.
Edit: 12:00 Looks like I’m not the only one with this concern
I wouldn’t think too deeply about it. I take off my socks in my sleep sometimes when it gets too hot. Who’s to say Sora didn’t do something similar? Plus Roxas waking up barefoot in kh2 even though he wasn’t when he was put in the simulation, yada yada yada…
technically only 2 or 3 years if we go by in-lore time.
*1 year and a few months
This is literally the best scenario to see Noctis and Zack on KH even Lightning since her character have a conecction with Etro the Goddess of death
Hey, maybe Zack will actually get that date with Aqua, lol
But Zack is............😓
@@uzumakicata Yeah, in Quadratum. We'll save him!
But if Yozora world is a 'dead' world, why are there normal civillians?
It's very refreshing hearing your thoughts and explanations of things, because you are rational about it and understand development processes. Every idiot out there yelling "coming in 10 years" has zero brain cells going spare and fail to consider how things are different this time.
I still remember waiting forever for Kingdom Hearts 3 to come out. This series definitely taught us patience!

@@indedgames4359 I mean it's in that one Final Mix cutscene but otherwise it's inconsequential
Can you tell me where did you used it?
I really want some OLDER disney worlds. The nostalgia of those decades old movies really adds something special.
I would really love Robin Hood. Soras design would be a woodland animal, and the setting would be water color pretty medieval England. Would love it
Robin Hood was be incredible I've also been yearning for Black Cauldron and Gummi Bears for the longest time
You're not fooling me, you just wanna see Sora's fursona
So I don't know if Buns proposes this in the vid as I'm typing this but what if the "lost master" in "the lost master arc" is actually referring to Master Ava? As she's the only one we haven't seen in the present.
This has been my train of thought
Oooh, i don’t dislike that idea!
No. In the remind dlc mom says to xehanort I'm a lost master.
Hmk did an interview with his voice actor and he knows the name and when hmk asked he said even though I cannot say anything even if I told you would be like oh it's that guy. I don't think ava is a guy.
I'm glad with the direction and look they're taking. People gotta understand that Kh is 20 and it's needed to mature a bit. Plus having been literally told to us this where we were going by the game itself
A lot of the people who were there since the beginning are adults now, so it makes sense for them to make the newer games a bit more mature.
For YEARS, I've e had in my head the anticipation for worlds from Bambi, Dumbo, Treasure Planet, Atlantis, Cars. I hope we see them someday
I hope they don’t inject some form of Microtransactions
@@orichalcum_plus that is what I am thinking. 2024 release makes sense
I love that nomura is having the ideas he had for versus 13 implemented in this God I love this crazy series ❤️
It's real, it looks AMAZING, and I already physically can't wait to play it.
Bread mom serving us balanced nerd analysis. I am freaking excited.
Me too. Feels like I've been a fan for a lifetime because my sense of time has been fucked.
Did you play it in order of release or in chronological order? If you play it in chronological order the story isn't really that hard to follow until Dream Drop Distance when they introduce time travel. That's the point you'll just have to pay real close attention.
Well, Melody of Memory isn't for that but it works. Kairi narrates almost all events KH games has from start (KH1) to finish (KH3)
The way buns feels about the kh 2082 memes is how I feel about the "KH is too hard to understand" memes
I’m looking forward to the hot takes when it eventually releases. Got my bingo card ready.

I did not just start crying while doing laundry when Buns mention abt Ventus smiling in DDD😭
Anyways, i am excited for the next game!!!

You know this is a Kingdom hearts trailer because there are STILL buildings being thrown

Very…meh.
Omg I was screaming when you said "with all the boys as fairies." I need this in KHIV now! Thank you Buns! 🌈
Its like Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 ending where Edward vanishes to the other side of the door and is transported to a reallistic world where the people that died in Alchemist world are reborn in that world.
The one kid who turned into the T-rex dream eater must be having a blast
The Bun’s research did an amazind job getting so much information in such a little time with such a short trailer
I swear that fucking Darkside kaiju looks like Seymour Guado from FFX to me... that hairstyle is too iconic
If the afterlife is a big part of KH4 I would LOVE to have Coco in the game. The world would look so beautiful.
Honestly, if kh4 gets delayed, I'm okay with this! I'd rather have a delay than a crunch.
For me these are the worlds I want for KH4:
-Treasure Plant
-Atlantis
Brave or Coco would just be fan serves for me at that point.
As for summons:
-Winnie the pooh (Mostly because I think it would be neat to connect to Pooh wanting to see Sora again, and he can through the summons with all the other Pooh friends.)
-Baymax
-Robin Hood
(I might want more then that, but my brain is fried at the moment so keeping it simple.)
Now as for other series character I want to see? Now this is going to be crazy and a lot to explain, but I want to share it:
I want Tidus and Yuna to see each other, and doing a bit of the storyline to ff10 to connect to the life and death themes of that game, and how they might be in this one.
(Honestly doesn't need to be in kh4, but any future game later down the line.)
But my god your ideas where way better. I want to see the ff15 boys in a barbie car now. I want this to happen so badly!
“Your brain stops at 3.”
I didn’t know you worked for Valve.
I think there might be a chance that there's going to be a Star Wars world in Kingdom Hearts 4 but I'm not sure yet
you can kinda see one in the trailer.
i guess we finally found where cloud and sephiroth went to after kh2 lol
they should either:
- port Union X story in Missing Link
- Make a FULL "X: Back Cover"-style film depicting the actual story of Union X (not just the foreteller stuff from the first half) and Dark Road
When Buns said "thats gotta be hades" i litterally said "what the fuck are you on about?" Outloud.
Why? Blue fire turning into red fire is Hades AF. Why would that be a weird thought?
The comment Im tired off is when people who only have a surface look at Kingdom Hearts want to press their opinion on how KH4 shouldnt exist bc KH3 was the ending of KH.
Then they get mad when you tell them they are wrong and there is a lot of things left up in the air.
I made the mistake of engaging on that opinion for a little bit after telling them I wasnt going to humor the conversation more than I already did (which was telling then there are lose things in the air) and he got mad and didnt even read what I said and thought I was telling him off
Which
Nice
2 worlds I would like to see would be an A Bug's Life world and an Incredibles world.

People already dissing on the GAME based purely on seconds of footage is why I’ll always stand by the belief that Fandoms are pure bullshit
Been waiting for her reaction since 7AM sunday. 45 MINUTES!? LETS GOOOOO!!! XD XD XD
As a relatively newer fan of the series I am very excited to see where Nomura and his team goes with the future of Kingdom Hearts.
I was shocked to see that wasn’t the case but,
Lo and behold here it is.
Time is no problem, I'm here for Sora and Friends. It's a crazy journey and worth it.
Two years later....

Square-Enix: Kingdom Hearts 4 will not be at E3.
E3: Joke's on you.
I want so much to believe that it'll come out in 2024, I've just had to wait so long for so many of the games I highly anticipate that it doesn't feel like it'll happen that early. With practically no news on Silksong, and another recent delay on BotW 2, I just have my fingers crossed that you're right
RIP Sora's Timbs. It was a great run
Now yes, Moving from UE4 to 5 is magnitudes easier than totally switching engines, but for larger(AAA scale) projects it's not crazy for it to take over a month.
There is a star wars reference in the KH4 trailer. the scene just before the close up of the mushroom, if you look to the top left you'll see one of the star wars vehicles sitting there
Not the Morgan McMichaels entrance line at the end lmaoooooooooooooo
If its a more 'realistic' side of reality that Sora is on, aka one with more live-action worlds, IMAGINE- an Indiana Jones world!
the great thing about hearing people talk about kingdom hearts is that there's so fucking much to it that you start thinking about what they might do in the future... and then you realized 5 minutes have passed and everything went in one ear and out the other
KH4 is giving off some dark DrakeNier vibes, and I can't wait
I feel like Moana and Encanto are 100% in. Moana feels MADE for KH to some extent, with Te Fiti's HEART and the DARKNESS extending, you know. Also Encanto was a massive success, it took over the internet for all of Christmas 2021. I do wonder if Frozen II will be there though.
I honestly can't understand how Sora has grown up again in just 7 days XD
Unless his body has reacted somehow to the Re:mind Timeskip, like quadratums time passes slower? But his body is still conected to the Kingdom hearts realm... 🤔 AHGFFFFGHF MY HEAD!!
