The building looks so real , it looked like you were handling a real building . my mind had to think about what i was watching ! . really nice Craftsmanship .
I Understand for the sake of time and effort, but chuckle when you said at 15:55 "As you can see, I've got quite a bit done". You get more done before most of us get up in the morning, more less all day. Great work and video. Thank You.
Another fun and fantastic build. Great advice about taking your time and enjoying the process. I rusted 80+ pieces of KC Corrugated roof paper yesterday with 5 different colors and a number of sponges, and it takes quite a while and a light touch to get it looking right, but it's becomes meditative and quite fun to see the results falling into place. The details make the build, from signs to the sharp #2 pencil for nail holes. Thanks again! - Paul
You sure make it tempting to try one of Foss' kits. I don't really have the ability to take my time. Maybe when I get older. One would think being in your 70's would be old enough. 🤠🤠
OSHA would not approve of the deck lifted decking LOL! Great video and tips/techniques/tutorial!. I did sign up for FOSScales btw and looking forward to checking their kits out.
Awesome build, you did a fantastic job on it. Well worth the hours you put into it. I also like the music you use in the videos. Thank you for sharing this wonderful build !!!!!
Jason, you make me think that I could *actually* do this! VERY appreciative of your other vids. That said, I'd love to see the work space; maybe a 2 minute tour of lighting, tools, equipment, how things are laid out, etc?
WOW!!! Just breath taking video and what a huge beautiful build. How you find all the paint and stain materials is so unbelievable how you do it. Been watching other build videos waiting for one from you and they are all good videos but do not come close the the high quality instructional details of your videos. Once again and I feel I am speaking for all who watch your videos a Hugh massive THANK YOU for sharing your gifted abilities and your talents with us. Jason you are the UA-cam King. Thanks again and be safe!!!!
Another absolutely incredible build sir Jason 😉 the box art is beautiful but what you have done with this incredible kit is second to none its simply awesome the use of colours design etcetera is PERFECTO keep up the great work and thank you for another great video to drift away into
I like old wooden houses. There's life in there. Not only do you know how to build them perfectly, but you are also excellent at explaining things, even for a German like me.
man incredible Jason you've done it again. I have purchased the same kit now I can open it thanks for the motivation...and thanks for sharing you are APPRECIATED Jason....
An exceptional kit, brought to life with your excellent skillset Jason, looks totally amazing. Pity we don't get these types of kits in UK, enjoy these uploads, very informative. All the best, take care. Brian @ The Angels
Fantastic piece of work, love the different rundown textures and the rusty door, the final result reminds me of those classic creapy old haunted buildings you see in something like a Tim Burton movie. Absolutely fabulous Jason, as always thanks for sharing.
It looks far better than on the pictures. Really great build. Greets from the Netherlands. And I am looking forward to see the remaining buildings taking shape and Colorado under your hands.
I really like your work Jason. It seems so many people use airbrushes these days, it’s so refreshing to see traditional brush and sponge techniques. As usual your work is exemplary. Greetings from across the pond
Another masterpiece, Jason! You make it look so easy, but all the hours tell the story! Learned several lessons here; thank you for letting us share your journey!
Outstanding work, Jason!!! You are not afraid to work with some challenging and complex kits, but your execution is amazing!!! Your videos are always enjoyable and educational.
Great build, A hint on the corners of the roof, Cut squares shingles and bend each one over the corner, cover half the shingle as you go up. That's how we do roofs.
Jason, Thank you again. A ruely amazing job. an exceptionally educational video. It really inspires me to try and improve the finish of my models, and your detailed explanation really helps. All the best, and stay safe. Michael
Impressive work Jason, I pondered getting this kit but passed on it, now after seeing your effort, I regret that, lol. Looking forward to the next building. Cheers Rob
Haha! I totally was just dipping my strip wood into my Best Trains wash bottles last week! Guess we’re on the same page haha. Thanks for another great video my dude.
Amazing build Jason! I never understand why companies do this Limited Edition, one time only, stuff. If it a great model or whatever and everyone who's interested wants one. Why not just keep it in inventory so all can enjoy.
That building is so cool....to bad they don't make N scale kits. As always have a couple of questions, What did you use on the stains at the bottoms of the windows? If the vents are two pieces to put together did you sand out the seam or just painting them do the trick. I am glad you talked about other videos you have done on details and rusting thanks for sparking our interest!
Thank you so much Will!!! Always great to hear from you. I filed or sanded the seems. Doesn’t take much. Then just painted and weathered. Thanks for watching buddy!!!
Great this held my interest on the roof and sub 3 front pop out sections . your posture in the sitting position concernd me ,how comfortable it may feel to you ?Just noticed ,why i made this comment ,Idont know ,??/LO .I find myself with a back ach concentrated effort working on models hours on end ,forgeting about time and posture ..had to change my sitting position etc, thanks for the web site .
@@louievarela2573 Thank you so much for watching, I really appreciate it!!! The chair I sit in costs at least 200 dollars. It probably the one item you should spend the most money on.

That is an amazing structure. May be too large for most layouts but a great diorama build. How would you go about painting it red like FOS's box art? I like the faded paint look more than the stained wood look..
FOS scale should sell that loading dock as a detail part. Would also be neat if they offered some of the side buildings/lean-to’s as a little add-on kits.
Fos makes such beautiful models and you assemble them superbly. It’s heartbreaking, though, to realize that most of the kits you build are no longer available. I just want to build this model - and I can’t buy it.
Great job love your videos but for us newbies that like to work along with your videos can you list the colors you use in the description so we can get them beforehand
You mentioned that you’re using a straight edge razor, actually it’s a single edge razor blade. New hobbyists might be confused if they were ask for it or order it.
Great modelling, lovely kit, but for a cartographer why all the vents and heavy industrial gubbins attached to the outer wall. A bit much for what is effectively a printer of maps don't you think?
Thank you David!! I think it all just looks cool. For me it doesn’t always have to make sense. Being an artist I tend to go more for the overall look or feel rather then realism. Thanks for watching!!!
As the video shows it’s a very detailed kit and it also has 5 other structures in the kit. In my opinion a great value for 6 unique structures that are very detailed. Thanks for watching Graham, I really appreciate it!!!

That is an amazing structure. May be too large for most layouts but a great diorama build. How would you go about painting it red like FOS's box art? I like the faded paint look more than the stained wood look..
After you stain it you could sponge on a red color to give it a peeled paint look. Thanks for watching!!!
Looks awesome Jason. What are the paints you're using that looks like liquor bottles? Vetero?
They are from Besttrains.com they are a alcohol based stain. Thanks for watching!!!
