My intuos 3 screen is all scratched up and they don't sell replacement screens anymore.
Turns out there's nothing better to replace it with.

@@jjayare4506 you too? I use this one huion (idk what product, but its screen) for 2 years and i just cant stop hating it. at first i thought i need to get used to this thing but the colors aren't accurate and in general feels very clunky. its also very heavy.

My sister actually doesn't even have a phone, she just used my phone to draw using her fingers. She's totally kind of great when it comes to traditional art but when it comes to digital well she really needs improvement. Same. I’m literally watching this on my iPad Pro! It works great for a 6 year old tablet but sadly the battery life is like 30 mins long MAX.
@@crypticshadows replacing the battery is both simple and relatively cheap so it might be an option
@@oliverer3 yeah but the screen freezes a lot too and the iPad is a bit large to bring places so I just ended up getting the iPad Air :)
I got the XP-PEN Artist 12 for Christmas and it's really nice! I would highly recommend it!~

I never use a drawing tablet before. So its great to try one. Of course i would try draws nima. She's very pretty ✨
Your love of the intuos 3 isn't nostalgia, they are also my favourite and I've had an intuos 4, 5, pro, two cintiqs and a huion. So damned good and I am also trying to get a hold of one in working order as I'd trade in my current cintiq companion for it in a heartbeat.
Intuos 4 and up felt too grippy, I liked the pen a lot less (But now I use a pro pen which is closer to the intuos 3) when I had the intuos 5 after a few days, yeah, you read that right, DAYS! The rubber started to bulge and come away and eventually rip. It spent years on my desk with gaffer tape all over it to keep it together. I had a pro and the USB port broke after a few months because I travelled with it. Just bad times all around.
The 3 was flawless.
EDIT: I forgot, I also had the OG bamboo (Which I liked very much)
I like how you didn't mention the worst and biggest issue of the Gaomon... the calibration. The closest to perfect you can get it is factory resetting and then you might notice zones being way off... after 10-30 minutes. This seems to happen most if you have messed with the screen orientation or literally ANY setting on the monitor.

Just purchased a Wacom One, and for someone who is transitioning from traditional art, I absolutely ADORE this tablet! ♡
My partner wants to get into art, and feels most comfortable with a digital space where things are less permanent, I try to break their shell a bit by drawing traditionally but it spikes up some low confidence, to eventually being unable to continue. I won't share my work because it isn't relevant, but I understand if that means I can't be considered. The first thing I would do if I won the giveaway is start drawing with them :) maybe following some prompts for fun too!
I'm not already good in drawing, I'm used to draw portraits (but I want to make something where I can Express myself better) so I have recently joined to an online course of character design, so the first thing I will draw will be my first assignment.

4:05 hey I have that exact huion inspiroy tablet! I also got a wacom cintiq 16 yesterday so I use that more often now because it's easier to do lineart. (Its literally amazing, no lag, no parallax!)

My old wacom which was over 10 years old just broke a few months ago and now I'll need one for University, because I have digital Illustration classes haha.
I think i will look into a cheaper iPad (maybe the air or a used pro, have you thought about comparing the iPads from an artists POV?), because I could use that for notes and Entertainment as well. Or a Huion or XP pen Tablet with screen looks also greatt

Whenever I get the time to finish it, I'll do a video about tablets for my french viewers. I appreciate how you ranked them by the best quality according to their affordability, but also tell which one has the best screen, feeling, etc... So one can stick to that ranking if you have a low budget but also listen closely to your comments if they can spend more and go for better quality in a specific caracteristic. I'm a traditional artist that's been trying to find a digital art tablet so I can draw book covers digitally and not fear running out of traditional supplies all the time as well as having more tools at my disposal. I am a writer myself and the first thing I would draw if I one an Art Tablet would be a sheet of all my Dragon Nova characters and their dragons. I'd finally be able to draw each character individually and move them around the page to where they fit the best and with the colors I can't get with my pens.

Omg!! This made me so happy. I used to draw everything with my wacom intuos 3 (4in x 6in). Even when I invested in a more expensive, newer, and larger tablet, I always went back to my intuos 3. There's just something so comfortable and great about it! I've moved on to a tablet x screen now, but I will NEVER get rid of my intuos

Funny thing is, I have the Intuos4 and since I've bought it about 10 years ago I actually have not encountered any issues.
The only reason I really want to upgrade is because I want one with a screen.

i have the ipad pro and apple pencil and it is the best purchase i’ve ever made. drawing is very smooth on procreate and i’m even planning on starting my comic soon. it’s not as big as the expensive ones on here but it’s still a pretty good size imo

Currently doing college online, so getting a pen display would be a massive help: Main display would have the zoom lecture and the pen display would have one note.
In terms of art, I usually just use Gimp to make some meme art for my friends to enjoy.

I just started to use the wacom one I know for the beginners I supposed to use only a tablet but this is a gift they gave me so this is my first wacom one tablet and I kind of like it how smooth it is and how light and the colors I love it

I have a question hoping you can answer.
I own a Wacom Intuos pro, but i have problem setting it with my Imac.
i downloaded the driver as usual no problem with that, but the problem is when i draw on it, the mapping seems off and i does not feel natural since the dimension of Imac is different with the Intuos tablet.
How do you set your Intuos pro tablet ?

I'm surprised the wacom intuos 4 is ranked at D. My brother had used it for years and gave it to me when he got a new tablet with a display. I've used it for several years now and it's performed well all this time. I've also dropped it multiple times and yet it never broke, so I have no idea why yours keeps breaking lol

I bought the xp pen artist 12 since it was the cheapest display tablet i could find but unfortunately the screen broke despite me barely using it or doing much damage on it. So now im just forced to use it as a regular drawing tablet

What stylus is that im looking to get better at graphic design but I cant find a stylus that i like ;-; (looking for something that has a mechanical pencil feel or a very pinpoint feel)
The first one I would draw is the cover of a story that is very special to me and have been planning to continue for almost a decade now... I have planned all of the plot twist that I could think of and I always dreamed of having my very own Webtoon and thankfully the past few days I already started the first episode and chapter but I have only used ibispaint X since I don't have money to finance it especially since I lost my job in this pandemic... It is very good and easy to use but it is taking me a long time making every episode hence I've only done the epilogue and 1st. epi. This would really help and mean a lot to me.
I would also add; all of my life I don't really have any ambition in life I've have long ponder what I want to do in life it didn't helped when I realized that I might've depression since I was young I was usually sad to look at my future 'cause I have been so used to looking at the past... Even though I was envious to the people who put so much passion into something that they love I would like that for myself. I don't need a high paying job just something that I love and even though my parents are have always been against to pursuing a career in drawing I atleast want to say to myself that I atleast tried before giving up so I decided to start by finally making my very own Webtoon with an almost decade old story that is also very close to my heart... so you would not only help me with improving my art but also helped me finally starting up my life in the direction that I want.

They are wonderful! I was scared to spend that much money on one plus the Apple Pencil (I'm super cheap/frugal)....as soon as I started using it no regrets.
A few days ago, while I was cleaning up, I came across a couple of comic books that I made when I was really young. I would like to draw them in a graphics program, but I don't have the tools for that. So I think the first thing I would do if I won a tablet would be to redraw old comics and give them a second life. Maybe in the future I will be able to read them with my children. All drawing screens with mate display (that splits colors and make dirtiness on it) goes to D for me. Only that external layer can go A, becouse there you can decide do you need it and on how much percent do you need to fight glare in cost of screen clarity.
I understand completely why you made the iPad Pro an A. Its high resolution and 120 hz refresh rate won me over too. the screen is so easy on the eyes with almost 0 blue light. there is no lag and its pin point accurate from every position and side. Its also light and doesn't need a million wires. If you don't like the slippery gl;ass then using a matte screen protector is cheap and works great for paper like friction. My Wacom has been collecting dust since I got my iPad pro.

Hey Ross! I'm Alex, and I've been drawing just with my mouse since I started, for the past 7 years. I would LOVE to have a screen tablet to develope my style even further, mostly when it comes to my backgrounds, or how could I approach making my mecha designs without the feather tool. A tablet like one these would be such an inprovement for my illustrations, a literal dream coming true. This is my portfolio! The first thing I would draw would be of course a MECHA! Made out of super aggresive strokes and giving that aggressiveness to the vibe of the mecha - for his expression, pose and perspective. Just thinking about it I'm getting super excited to make it come true with the tablet!!

Aww the intuos 3 was great! Sorry you had such a bad time with the intuos 4 - this is also a solid beast if you can get it to work. Now you’ve got me thinking about bidding on an intuos 3 😂 they do look very large and clunky compared to all the sleek tablets we have now, but that thing was SOLID and reliable AF 😊

Perfect drawing experience everything is super responsive the only bad thing is that darker tones are shown a bit too dark. If you increase the brightness, the darks feel good but lighter tones become too light. It's never balanced but the pen and drawing experience was fabulous. I also use it for gaming. It's around 300 dollars with full hd.

The first thing I would draw is some kind of concept art or some fantastic scenario, the truth is that until now I haven't been able to make a drawing like this because I don't have the tablet but hopefully I can win this one and make the kind of illustrations that I want, I love your videos and your drawing style without a doubt is spectacular, a greeting from Venezuela friend Ross.
If I won, I would draw the characters I always draw on paper. It would be amazing to be able to color them and modify them without making a big mess haha. It would definitely open new opportunities for me to express my art! 💕
