I live in the netherlands and my mother and i are really into cacti. here is a cactus grower here and they have soooo many cacti and some nice types of caudex . if you google otto zeiter or cactus kweker van der linden (kweker is the dutch word for grower) you will find it
Still in Holland? Check out Vreeken's Zaden in Dordrecht, I've never been in the shop myself but order most of my seeds there, their collection is huge!
This is not a trend for its a lifestyle,my great grandfather was a market gardener and my grandfather had a decent size personal garden. On my Fathers side we own a 100 and fifty acre dairy farm. For me it's a love and passion. Ty for sharing, much love.

You mentioned a certificate to be able to take plants back with you to the US. I've often wondered while travelling what sort of certification do you need to acquire to transport plants?
hahahaha no there were no plant shops like wildernis - they sell the same plants as others except 10x more expensive. There are much older shops in their district, that are just less hip and gentrified.

Eurofleur and Intratuin have lots of plant varieties. Next time if you managed visiting the Netherlands, you could come and visit those stores.

They have so many large Rhipsalis and other jungle cacti in their shop. Trying to find such a mature plant like that in the US is still difficult.

Hi. You can spray the soil with hidrogen peroxide (the one used to clean wounds) and it will kill the mould. :)
