Could have done with this a few days ago, trying to source leaking CH pipe joint above a ceiling.......might have saved me cutting half of it away!! Nice video and I'm seriously considering the outlay.👍

@MJTiffPlumbing quick question on this tool how far back can you be from an object before the thermal imager can no longer detect it or it gives inaccurate readings? If you know what I mean I ask cause I would use it but sometimes I can't be close to equipment I work with thanks
It works a good distance away mate, Ive been upstairs on jobs and it’s picked the UFH loops up downstairs 👍🏼👍🏼
@MJTiffPlumbing nice ima buy it then I work outside and sometimes we check tank levels a friend had a milwaukee one but I can't find that brand anymore I think they stop selling so that is why I am going with this one

Where’s the link in description big man ? Bosch way more expensive. 400 c like £850-£1100. Wanted to keep van all uniform with Bosch but this one looks like she’ll do the job just fine 💪🏻

I don't think these models are good enough to see heating pipes in walls, floors etc
They are…… I use them all the time and even in my latest video you can see Pipework under a finished floor.
The barn renovation I did shows the loops under 50mm screed.
So, these models are good enough to see heating pipes under floors and in walls👍🏼👍🏼

I worked for a company 3-4 year ago and they supplied these. They were terrible I remember being sent to a job to look for a ch leak the whole of the downstairs floor was tiled throughout so pulled out my thermal camera, couldn't see a single pipe.. seemed a gimic to me.. sure it looked the part🤣
