The bead swivel fluro leader is a good setup, but all you need on the terminal (bait) end is a duolock snap. No need to put more weight on the nose with an additional snap/swivel. Works very well for spoons, because again you are keeping the weight of the swivel off the lure, allowing more better action. I go with a bead and ball bearing snap/swivel on the main line, with pre-tied leaders wrapped around a tackle tamer, or swim noodle. The leader has a swivel on one end (attached to the snap swivel on the main line) and a duolock snap on the terminal end. Leader length is usually 4 to 8 feet, depending on the setup. Easy to change leaders. The bead in front of the snap/swivel catches a lot of junk that might get back to the lure. Important during sea flee season. The bead in front of the main snap swivel works well with inline boards, because if the board releases, the bead stops the snap swivel from wedging into the back of the board and keeps the board sliding free.

Also, do not wrap the leader around the base of the reel like he did. More important with fluoro.

What do you do with your leaders?

I'd like to see a more detailed presentation on how you've set up your jets. That looked like a very good system. I run boards and Dipsys, but I haven't run jets yet.

I can't believe the comments. 6 fish per, 15" min. And every one of those fish looked over 15" to me. I just wish he spent more of his time explaining his opinion on spoon size, color, preferred brand and fish movement specific to water temps.

Use simple hand spring clamps on your divers so they are not swinging in the wind and causing damage. Just squeeze open the clamp, go around the rod (between the arms of the clamp) and clamp on to one of the blades. Works best lower on the rods and with all divers (dipseys, etc.) and dodger/flasher rigs. These clamps are very inexpensive and it prevents tangles as well as check marks on your rods.
